Other email/calendar services have a means to store ToDos, usually integrated into calendar functionality (like including due dates and such, with calendar-related alerts.)

I am a big fan of Todo lists, but due to de-googling my life, Im currently using manual todo lists on my eInk tablet. It works, but I'd rather have it in digital form that is much easier to manage, shift tasks around, have alerts for upcoming due dates, etc.

Honestly, I think this basic feature would be implemented prior to launching into competition with google docs/etc. But I also am looking forward to competing SECURE and PRIVATE solutions to Google Docs as well.

    Thanks

I have had a paid Proton account for many years, and De-Googling my life is difficult enough as it is.

Please fix this, and publish all Apps via FDroid. I need auto updates for apps, and aurora is unreliable in general.

    Thanks

I think a much better approach would be for Proton to partner with GrapheneOS to release a cost-effective non-Pixel phone preloaded with and supported by GrapheneOS. The tricky part here is mostly about having a phone with hardware security on-par with Pixel.

And of course, remove all App dependencies for google play services.
And of course, maintain downloads and updates for all Proton Apps via FDroid in addition to play store.

I'll repost a link from an earlier comment: https://grapheneos.org/faq#notifications

Push notification of new email can definitely work without Google being involved at all, but it needs to be implemented, and the dependence on play services completely amputated like the gangrenous appendage it is.

De-googling your life is critically important, especially for those people who are clueless about the constant gross invasion to their privacy. People talk about their "threat model", which at this point is ridiculous since gross invasion of privacy and corporate surveillance is so intrusive and pervasive that it is a violation of EVERYONE's so-called "threat model".

Please help make security and privacy easy for everyone, as it should be.

    Forgot one:
    - Optional "allow all" bypass rule (0.0.0.0/0) while connected to a specific SSID. Basically, bypass VPN to route all traffic to local network including internet-bound packets WITHOUT DISABLING kill switch.

Overall, the objective is to protect ALL traffic regardless of the WiFi/Cellular connection, with Kill Switch always on FOREVER, while still allowing explicitly specified traffic to get routed through specifically specified local networks while connected to specifically specified SSIDs.
