    After I moved my Google photos to Proton I was surprised that HEIC was not supported. I only have a few, but it's important that I can manage them there if Proton is to serve as an alternative to Google.

    I second this. I just uploaded my photos taken out from Google decades back in time and there are multiple date quirks even something like year 2099. In Google Photos editing the dates was easy, even if it was saved in the EXIF. It would be nice to have some options here.
