    I would love this feature to exist. It would dramatically easy setting up, maintaining my Qubes OS setup.

    Given Qubes OS suggests installing packages downloaded on an individual basis a security risk, I have to sidestep their security considerations (installing Proton software by hand), not receiving any notifications about updates to (to me critical) software packages.

    Also, when shipping apps to my users, I could script away with salt/ansible/puppet/chef to my hearts content, but the combined work of each sysadmin in this world be much more than the automation that is already in place for boring tasks like updating.

    Given the status quo leads to a system that's hard(er) to maintain, it also diminishe the overall security of those systems.

    I know that once deb or rpm repos exist, any user on a tropical child-distro that can install either rpm or deb will start using the deb/rpm repo, and hence possibly breaking their setup.
    This is a hard problem to *****, therefore I am happy I support (financially) as well.

    Having the potential to use (external) scheduling tools in a secure way would be rather useful.
    Maybe enable both a "free/busy" caldav (for bought and potentially untrusted external tools), and a full details caldav for integrating into trusted or even self-built software?

    And for CardDav... I know I can use any other provider (from big tech to self hosted nextcloud) - card dav is a solved problem for me.

    But collaborating using calendars with standards (and I am talking calendar standards, not HTTP) is still mostly absent making my calendar less useful than (say a big tech calendar) that I can connect using https://simplymeet.me/en/integrations or something alike.
