The whole alias process feels like a bodge to get it to work. Having your main email showing in the 'From' box and not seeing the alias address in the 'From' box when replying to an alias is just ridiculous.

Although SSOs are convenient, moving to Proton for me is to get away from 'big tech'.
Presumably when you 'Sign in with Google' that gives Google yet another snippet of information about you to monetise and track you?

Good idea. Plus use Courier 10cpi as the typeface which shows every character uniquely.
One other enhancement could be to show the character position as a number so that when you need to give the 5th, 11th and 18th character from a password you can find them instantly. Something like this, but on a grid with password characters and number positions centred:g T 4 # u Q
1 2 3 4 5 6 etc -

Alternatively display the passwords in Courier 10cpi which is a 'typewriter' font and distinguishes every character individually.

You can already do this when logged in to the Proton Pass web page, but can't (as far as I can see) do it in the iOS app.
The web page offers PGP-encrypted, zip or csv export. Really useful feature.
