    This request dates back to 2019 and there's still no option for shared mailboxes. This is a basic, essential feature for any business.

    I'm based in Europe and recently migrated my family to Proton as a trial. For personal use I can work around the lack of shared mailboxes, but having the option for one or two would make it complete.

    More importantly: I run an IT consultancy business. Because I've now migrated my own family, I can honestly and confidently advise my customers on Proton as a genuine alternative to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 — something I get asked about regularly. But every single one of my business customers relies on shared mailboxes: info@, sales@, support@. Even the smallest businesses have these addresses set up and in daily use.

    Without shared mailboxes, Proton simply isn't viable to recommend for business customers, no matter how strong the privacy and security story is. This one feature is standing between Proton and real traction in the SMB market — please prioritize it.
