Bulk Delete
have been a loyal Proton user for years. While I love the encryption, the inability to easily mass-delete old emails is a major privacy flaw.
The Problem: To truly minimize my data footprint (a core privacy principle), I need to delete emails older than 6 months. Currently, there is no way to do this in bulk. Search by date fails, filters don't support date ranges, and manual selection is impossible with thousands of emails. As I have thousands of emails, it will take days to do it by clicking on 50 at a time
The Contradiction: Proton markets itself on…

Booking Page - Add option to mark time before and after booking request unavailable
Similar to my idea located here, https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail-calendar/suggestions/51229339-booking-page-sync-availebility-from-my-calendar , I want to set up an option that when someone book my time, it will automatically also make some dedicated time before and after the booking to be unavailable , to avoid back to back bookings, And i want that unavailable time to be something we can decide, and not a fixed time

(More) flexible start times on booking pages
When you create a booking page, you also set fixed time slots for the appointment. The user can select one of these and complete a booking. It would be great if there would be an option to leave the starttime selection up to the user of the booking page.
== Example of current situation ==
I make a booking page for an 1h-appointment. I create the following time slots
* 12:00 to 13:00
* 13:00 to 14:00
* 14:00 to 15:00== The problem ==
The users of the booking page can select any of these three options, but they…10 votes -
Option to display newest emails first within a conversation thread
I would like to request an option to reverse the order of emails within a conversation thread, so that the newest messages appear at the top instead of the bottom.

in Proton Mail auto-moving to the next message after a mail deletion
I suggest a new useful enhancement: in Proton Mail, auto-moving to the next message after a mail deletion instead of returning to the mail list. Thanks

Allow Sorting of Contacts by Surname
Please make provision to sort Contacts by Surname. Sorting by first name only is a bad idea and makes it hard to find a particular contact.

Optionally mark email as read when archiving
I'll often go through a bunch of newletters and archive them, often without reading them. When I do, they still appear in 'All Mail' as unread. It would be good to optionally be able to 'Mark Read' when an email is archived.

Advanced PGP Key Management for Proton Mail Users
Description
Currently, Proton Mail allows users to manually add PGP public keys to external addresses only.
This creates several limitations for users with more complex encryption setups or personal key hierarchies.
Problem 1: Limited Manual Control
Users cannot manually specify whether an email should be:
- Signed only
- Encrypted only
- Signed and encrypted
Instead, Proton Mail enforces a fixed default behavior per contact.
If a user wishes to change how messages are sent, they must manually adjust the contact’s encryption settings each time.
This slows down workflows and complicates secure communication.
Problem 2: External Keys for Proton Addresses
Some Proton users…

Open attachments in a separate tab or window
It is already possible to preview PDFs and images in attachments. I propose a feature that would allow to open attachments in a separate tab or window. This way it would be possible to view attachments and read emails at the same time. At the moment, doing this requires downloading the attachment and opening it in a separate application. This should be optional behaviour and the user should be able to choose how they wish to view attachments.

undo button
It would be nice to have an undo edit button like most Microsoft programs. A button with a cylindrical arrow that undoes the last edit made, and stores them so one can go back multiple steps. Keyboards are so touchy that, especially if one is not a great typist, is easy to highlight an entire section, for instance, and replace it with the next thing one types. Being able simply to undo a catastrophic mistake rather than having to retype entire paragraphs would be a useful feature. I don't need to be punished for my typing errors--I know my typing…

Add option to stop processing email filters
Please add a "stop processing filters" option to the custom filters - to prevent mail that meets the criteria of the first filter with this option enabled being processed by subsequent filters.
For example, if I have a rule that sends email to the trash or spam, I may not want subsequent filters from moving it elsewhere.

Automatically Create Folders From Sieve Script
For me, an excessive proton mail and simple login user, i create an alias for everything.
I have for every alias a seperate folder since most of the aliases receive 10+ Mails/Day and only using Kategories does not remove them from the inbox. Currently my soeve filters put the mails into the corresponding folder, but i need to manually create the folder.
So the feature request is: Please give the ability to create folders automatically from sieve scripts.10 votes -
API/IMAP integrations for third party security solutions
If Proton is looking to create a sovereign EU platform for businesses, then Proton will need to expand its access to third parties to meet security and compliance requirements for businesses.
An API integration that would allow companies to perform as examples DLP, Email Security, process GDPR requests, etc are needed to meet the lofty and admirable goal of making Proton the EU's sovereign digital infrastructure to replace Google and M365. If Protong wants toensure the safety and security of EU's technology stack, this will be needed for feature parity to the US leaders in the space.

Remove Max Delay Limit for Scheduled Emails
The schedule send function is currently limited to a maximum of 90 days later. I understand the use cases for sending an email futher into the future is incredibly niche but I don't see any reason why there has to be an artificial limit to this.
I would like to send an email to myself at least a year into the future.
Can we just remove the cap like Gmail does?

Keeping email addresses aligned in contact.
Add a field to contacts with a drop-down menu of Proton addresses (with default being the address last used for the specific contact). This can allow the Proton user to annotate what address are used with which contact.
Recipients can be confused if one's first email comes from xyz@proton.me and another sent to the same recipient from xyz@pm.me or another address in the Proton account10 votes -
Allow for more flexible data entry for calendar event start/end time
It would be helpful if the selection fields for calendar event start times could match a wider range of text input to avoid excessive mouse clicks. At present, typing in the fields will automatically select one of the pre-set options in the list (i.e., "12:00 AM", "12:30 AM", and so on) based on an exact match of the text string. While this does allow for somewhat rapid selection in limited cases, i.e., for events starting at midnight and on the hour from 2 am to 9 am (allowing typing a single digit and then it autoselects), but then further selection…

Print draft email
For the life of me, I cannot find a way to print draft emails. This should be possible, please. I still like to edit hard copies of sensitive email by hand, so printing draft emails is a critical need.
