Please display the appointment title in the subject line of reminder emails
Please display the appointment title in the subject line of reminder emails. This is very practical, especially if you use your inbox as a task list. Currently, only the date and time of the appointment are included in the subject line.

More organized configuration in Mail
The ProtonMail inbox/main configuration is already pretty good, but it seems a little cluttered to me in comparison with Gmail's clean and organized view.
I like Gmail's inbox layout with emails stretching across the view, and then upon clicking on one it turns completely to that email's contents. Rather than Proton's half-and-half configuration.
Hope that makes sense.
Also, I don't think this is super important, just would help freshen things up a little.
Thanks.

Proton Mail Desktop - Print attachments
In the Proton Mail Desktop app, you can download or open attached files. Would be nice to have a 'print' feature on the opened attachment, to print the document.

Find related feature
Please add a feature where the user can select an email and find related emails based on either having the same subject or being from a particular sender. This feature is present in many applications, and MS Outlook is one example. The idea is to have option to select all emails from a particular sender or on a particular topic/subject.

Change label or folder visibility in list
I'd like to be able to hide labels or folders in the list seen in Proton Mail. As I use more labels or folders I don't need to be able to see all of them, in fact they start to clutter things up. For older archived items in particular I want to be able to apply a label or move to a folder but this doesn't need to be visible day to day. This feature is available in Gmail and is one of the things it does better for organising large mailboxes.

Message threads should not include items in Trash
When I have put a message in the trash, I do not want to see it, and yet when I get another email from the same recipient, somehow, the message in trash is included and at the top there is a banner saying that the thread includes messages in trash.
Who thought this was a good idea? Just saying, I throw messages out for a reason, and that reason is not to see them again. At a minimum, adding a setting to omit deleted messages from a thread should be available.5 votes -
Edit calendar entry by double clicking
Hello,
I would be nice and streamlined if I could edit existing calendar entries in the web interface by double clicking on the entry. Currentrly you need to single click and then select the edit icon in the popup window.4 votes -
'Send' button becomes 'Send as scheduled' when editing a scheduled mail
Because we are already editing a scheduled mail, it makes sense that the 'Send' button follows the scheduled date, and becomes 'Send as scheduled'. This would prevent mistakes if we finish editing and we hit 'Send' thinking we are saving it for the scheduled date.

Smaller Time Increments For Scheduled Email Send Timing
For Proton Mail
I really appreciate the addition of the email scheduling feature and use it a lot when working at odd hours or across time zones. The current setup which allows emails to be scheduled on the hour or half hour works fine, but there are cases where smaller increments such as down to the minute would be helpful.
Firstly it makes the experience for the recipient seem less automated if a sender or recipient care about that. Secondly there are times when I'd like to schedule an initial email to a person or group and then another to arrive anywhere from 2-20minutes thereafter, particularly if I'm responding to multiple threads on different topics with the same person or group. It helps create the illusion the emails are happening in real time, prevents the recipient(s) from getting inundated with a big batch to work through possibly creating inertia, and staging them also lets me set a bit of a priority in what the recipients see and pull focus to first.
I'm sure there are more reasons this would be helpful and I look forward to learning more about those from everyone's comments.

Feature Request: Retention policies for emails and folders
This feature allows the user to setup a retention policy for a folder and/or individual emails.
The retention policy for folders should be applied by using the UI.
The retention policy for individual emails should be applied by using the UI and filters.5 votes -
Date-Based Filtering in Proton Mail
I would like to suggest an improvement to the filtering system in Proton Mail.
Currently, filters allow conditions based on sender, subject, keywords, etc., but it would be extremely useful to have the ability to create filters based on the age of an email (relative to the current date).
For example, I would like to create rules such as:
Automatically move all unread emails that are older than 10 days (based on today’s date) to a specific folder or highlight them.
Automatically move emails that are older than 10 days and already read to the Trash or to another designated folder.
More generally, the ability to filter emails based on conditions like:
“Older than X days”
“Newer than X days”
Combined with read/unread status.
This type of time-based dynamic filtering would greatly improve inbox organization and automation, especially for users who manage a high volume of emails.

Include time on emails for yesterday in proton mail web
Please consider adding time to the mail list and mail details. Showing 'yesterday' at 09:05 the next morning does not give necessary information to you on when exactly the email was received. Knowing what time the previous day an email arrived is pretty important.
I understand why you may want to save screen real estate on the email list by not showing time (although there's a tonne of space anyway), but when you open an email it should really always show date and time rather than just yesterday.
Thanks.

Separation of Proton and Custom Domain Mailboxes
Currently, Proton email addresses and custom domain addresses share the same mailbox view, which mixes all emails together. This approach feels unintuitive and makes it harder to manage communication across different identities.
I would prefer the ability to separate custom domain email accounts from Proton accounts into distinct mailbox views (or “drawers”). While it’s possible to use filters and folders as a workaround, this requires manually duplicating structure (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, etc.), which quickly leads to a cluttered sidebar and added maintenance overhead.
Would you consider introducing an option to define how email addresses are grouped within the interface? For example, allowing users to choose which addresses share a mailbox view and which remain fully separated.
This kind of flexibility would significantly improve usability, especially for users managing multiple identities or domains.
