Add "description" for "my addresses"
Please add a "description" column under "my addresses" so we can label what each email address is being used for. This seems like an easy fix. Thanks!

Bulk Unsubscribe to Newsletters
I like the long needed unsubscribe button and view for all of the newsletters.
Though, there are many email in my main inbox or spam that don't get caught by the newsletter view, and it's annoying in both the view tab, or the main emails to unsubscribe from each email manually.
I'd like to be able to select emails in my main inbox, or the newsletters view with a dialogue option to bulk unsubscribe ( and/or move and mark as read). I just had to sift through 200 newsletter emails and manually unsubscribe from each, that's not including what was not caught by the newsletter filter.

In the iOS Calender app, add the option to couple invites to different calendars.
In the Proton Calendar iOS app, we're stuck with a meagre accept and view option in the case of an invitation by someone. We can only accept an invitation and add it to the default calendar. This requires us to 1) remember to 2) use another device to put the invitation in the 'correct' calendar.
In the Proton Calendar webapp and in the (macOS) Proton Mail & Calendar app, I can couple an invite from someone else to any Calendar. This allows me to have a clear overview (different colors, different reminder settings) for both (different) clients and private meetings. I'm assuming that was a major reason behind this functionality.
Please add the described functionality to the iOS Calendar app. These options make the difference between time-saving and time-consuming.

Copy email addresses for everyone on a calendar invite
It is very hard to email everyone who is invited to a calendar event. Even if you cannot add the "reply to calendar invite" function, can you please at least make it easy to copy all the email addresses out? Right now, if you try to copy them and then paste them into an email "to" section, it gives me an error.
Related to this, I can't copy-paste a list of emails from a spreadsheet into a calendar invite, which is extremely frustrating! Please fix the formatting so that I can add a bunch of emails to an invite quickly and easily.

Easy to copy events in Proton Calendar.
I have to put my working shifts into my calendar. Those are similar times but unregular days.
It would be great to select the existing event - and then be able to select each day I want a copy of it.13 votes -
Shrink attachment preview top bar
The attachment preview top toolbar in Proton Mail is genuinely too vertically huge (~2cm on my display) for just:
- the name/icon of the file;
- next/previous attachment arrows;
- download & close buttons.
I understand this might be a design choice, however it unnecessarily limits the available space for the attachment preview itself, particularly on a laptop.2 votes -
Search for all emails that are NOT in a label/folder
Proton Mail currently supports "search only emails from this folder" and "search only emails that have this label."
My idea is to add these options:
- EXCLUDE this label from search
- EXCLUDE this folder from search2 votes -
Quick action buttons on Windows desktop email notifications
On Windows, when you receive an email notification from Proton Mail, there is only the message subject displayed and when you click it it opens the message. That's it. Why not add buttons like "Mark as read", "Delete", etc. to allow users to perform such quick actions directly form the notification, without opening Proton Mail?

Select newsletters with checkboxes
The newsletters view is great. It would be even greater if you cloud select newsletters with checkboxes just like emails, and apply actions (unsubscribe all, remove all from list, move all to trash, etc) with just one click to all of them!

FIX Calendar Event(s) Pop-Up
instead of making me open an email,
then click a link in the email to tell me that an event is about to occur;
how about you simply pop-up the event at the scheduled time or at the time specified prior to the event...1 vote -
Paste and Match Formatting on Mobile
In general most programs either strip the formatting or give different options to paste and match, etc. Would be super helpful on the iPadOS and other mobile versions of the Proton Mail app that lack the ability to paste and match formatting or paste without formatting. At the moment if I paste something in with different formatting I have to adjust in the web app. Font size is a particular issue here.

WIRE App Integration with Proton Calender for automatic creation of meetings rooms
User Story
As a Proton and WIRE user
i want to add a WIRE conference call easily / automated to my calendar event invitations
so that i don`t need to manually open WireApp to set up a conferencing call and copy the link manually to the calendar eventRationale
As a proton user i already value privacy and data security.(1) Since a couple of month Proton offers an own encrypted conferencing tool. But its only web based and does not go beyond conferencing - messaging outside of a conference is not in scope. WIRE would close both gaps.
(2) At the same PROTON offers a whole ecosystem of privacy tools. That is a general problem for users. If you use multiple PROTON services at the same time (all eggs in one bag) you are done in case of a breach on provider level.
It would be great to reduce the accumulated risk as a proton user and move the conferencing part to WIRE.
Additional information
- Proton Calendar already has a zoom / proton meet integration that works fine. Just add your service in collaboration with Proton to that list.
- The invitation e-mail should include the recipients as WIRE guests by default.
- There should be a function to add existing WIRE user account name ( @username ) to recipientsPlease see the corresponding feature request at WIRE:

I want to be able to invite not-proton e-mails to meeting
Currently, when I invite a non proton e-mail to a calendar event, the invitation is crypted and the receiver can't receive the invitation.

Same event in multiple calendars
I have the problem that I need to share the same event with multiple different groups of people.
For example, I need to share the dates of my firefighting drills with my office and my partner and sometimes even with my sport club. It would be amazing if it would be possible to elect multiple calenders when creating a new even or edit an existing one. Maybe there could even be some kind of "logical calendar" as shorthand to select a specific predefined set of calenders.3 votes -
e-mail folders navigation much cleaner and faster, especially for users with many custom folders
Currently, email folders in Proton Mail — both on the web app and Android app — are expanded by default.
When there are many folders, this makes the sidebar quite long and it becomes tedious to find the folder you actually need.
It would be very useful to have folders collapsed by default, or at least to have a setting that allows users to choose whether folders should be expanded or collapsed when opening the app.
This would make navigation much cleaner and faster, especially for users with many custom folders.

Delete mails, not threads
Maybe I just do not understand the functionality correctly, maybe this is actually really bad design:
I want to delete specific emails from a thread and keep some others in the folder where they are, but if I delete one, it always moves around the other mails to this folder as well.
If I for example have two mails in a thread in the inbox, I want to delete one, and later move one into a folder, then it directly moves both into delete when I delete one, and also moves both from the bin If I want to archive one.
I am definitely clicking on one specific mail, not the entire thread. Bad design maybe? Me misunderstanding?

Make all-day events area at top of calendar manually resizeable
Currently all-day events on weekly view are capped at 3, after which "n more" will appear which is clickable on a per-day level. It would be better if the all day event section at the top was manually resizeable so that more all-day events for the whole week can be displayed at once.

Add 'task completed' checkbox to existing calender entries
If no separate Tasks are added to Proton Calender, please add a 'completed' checkbox to existing calender items and change the color of the 'completed' item to a little 'of'f the current color.

Remove default connexion from old email adress
Hello,
When I created my proton email adress, I chose to connect it to my old gmail adress because I was originally thinking to suppress it. In the end I'd rather keep the old one for newsletter and promotional stuff, but I am not allowed to block the numerous messages I get from the gmail adress on my proton one, which is quite annoying.
Can we find a way to change this feature or should I create a new proton adress?
Thank you for considering this change or any advice.
Best,

Automatic alphabetical sorting of folders and subfolders
Hi! It's a waste of time to go and click on the sort button. It would be so ùuch easier if the sorting could be automatic. And we would have the choice between automatic and manual.
