UI - Button title for connected services table is unclear
In Proton Mail, in Settings > Security and privacy > Third-party apps and services
The table listing services just says "Connect" if the service is not connected under "Connection status". I find this confusing. I would rather it more directly said "Not connected".
Since this deals with security settings for accounts, I think it's incredibly important that this UI element is ambiguous and easily understood at a glance. The current button title also doesn't match the column title. The column title says "Connection status" but then the button says "Connect". Please make this more explicit for when people are quickly…

Embed calendars in web apps / publicly online
It would be great if Proton calendars could be embedded publicly in web apps. Google Calendar has obviously been able to do this for many years, and for that reason, as a web developer, I've always directed clients to use Google Calendar for displaying their organization's events. But I hate Google and have stopped using and recommending them, which doesn't leave the web world with many options calendar-wise.

Have an 'Unsorted' item for Folders, and 'Unlabelled' item for labels
All Mail can sometimes end up with mail itens in there that have no label or folder. There is currently no way to filter out emails that have no folder or label.
My proposal is to either have the items 'Unsorted' and 'Unlabelled' in the left bar OR in the search dialog have an item there we can click that will specifically bring up email that has no folder or label.

Proton Mail Appfor Windows: Email doesn't fit in window when using Column layout
When column layout is selected, there are 3 columns (folders, content of selected folder, and email window). Since the folder and content columns take up about half of the space and cannot be minimized, the email column is too narrow to view. Adding to this, the email font cannot be resized or scaled to fit in available space.
These features are available in every other mail app I have used; there is no reason the Proton UI cannot be at same level as competitors. Please correct this.

Move emails by Number of Days
When you create or edit a filter. Have an option to either move the last say 30 days of mail to a new folder, or even the last years worth of emails from where they are to the new location. This option could be configurable.

Print settings
Refine printing by adding print area commands so that you can select from 0:00 to 0:00 or for just these days. I also really like a fit to page option, since inevitably the second page (or the back of the page) always gets ignored at meetings.

Standard Mail Nachfrage in MacOS
In der Protonmail App für MacOS ist eine einmalige Nachfrage, ob man sie als Standard definieren möchte, ausreichend. Man sollte es nicht bei jedem Öffnen wegklicken müssen

Proton Mail/Calendar snap application for Linux users
It would be really great to have Proton Mail/Calendar snap application for Linux users. That would potentially give us automatic updates and single app for all distros, among other benefits of snaps.

Folder and Label Organization
Folder and label organization needs to improve.
One should have the oportunity to at least sort alphabet and date added. When creating labels and folders, and when you have a lot of sub-folders it tends to get really messy and it's time consuming to try to organize this manually with drag and drop.177 votes -
Improve Search
Can I really not search for messages sent by or received from someone?
Honestly, search is so weak, the only way to do it is use Bridge and a client like Thunderbird with a decent search engine. Then why use the webmail client at all? Also, content search is frankly useless as the content repeatedly disappears and needs another glacial re-indexing. I know there's a bandwidth overhead with this, but some of us are paying for just that!170 votes -

widget: mask sensitive events
It would be great to have a flag that marks sensitive calendar events. The practical effect would be to mask the event name in the calendar widget (iOS, Android). As an example, you might have an event of “surgery 2-5pm”; if marked as sensitive the widget would display it as “[event] 2-5pm”. As such you could still see that there is an event in the widget and you would still see the time, but you couldn’t see the name of the event name unless you went into Calendar. Events in the widget are often fairly visible to others when your…

Offload Email on Mobile
The iOS app stores all my email on my phone which takes more space than I’d like. Please add the option to offload emails beyond a given age to store only on the server but retain enough metadata in the mobile app to search the full set of emails so they can be redownloaded on demand.

Can you make the widget half the width?
Could you enable the smaller widget on iOS? I need a calendar widget but the full width one is too much for me, I’m not that popular :(
