move-copy folders from one account to another within same business account
Today, if I want to move all emails from one account to another, the only method I found was via Bridge-Thunderbird: downloading, locally copying, and uploading, which is crazy time-consuming and, unfortunately, not safe (the final count showed that lots of emails were not copied).
Instead of downloading and uploading, it would be great if the group admin had the ability to move folders between accounts.2 votes -
Seamless Custom Domain Integration Between Proton Mail, Proton Pass, and SimpleLogin
Hello Proton Team,
I would like to suggest an improvement regarding the integration between Proton Mail, Proton Pass, and SimpleLogin.
Currently, if a custom domain is configured in Proton Mail, it cannot also be used for aliases in SimpleLogin. This creates an unnecessary limitation within what is presented as a unified Proton ecosystem.
As a customer using multiple Proton services, I expected my verified custom domain to be available across all Proton products without requiring separate configurations or forcing me to choose between receiving email through Proton Mail or creating aliases through SimpleLogin.
Suggested Improvement
Once a domain has been…

Sub-accounts to not show emails sent to any other account
When I log in using a sub-account name all of the emails from the default parent account are shown. Can logging in using a sub-account show only emails sent to that sub-account email address please. This is requested for security reasons, wanting only a sub-account to be used on my mobile so if someone accesses the device they can't view emails sent to any of the other parent/default or sub-account email addresses. Ideally sub-accounts would have their own passwords, too.

Instant push notifications on desktop
As a Proton Mail macOS user, when I'm waiting for an email, it's really annoying that I will get a push notification immediately on my phone, the have to hit refresh in the desktop client several times before the email shows up in the desktop client.
Perhaps https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail-calendar/suggestions/50545794-implement-push-imap-instant-email-notification is the right solution, but I don't really care how it works--I just want to receive notifications as fast on desktop as on my phone.

Feature request: always show each link's real destination URL
Feature request: always show each link's real destination URL.
Please display the actual destination of every link directly at the link (e.g. above or beside the link text), not only on hover or long-press, and visually flag the destination in red when the destination's host does not match the hostname named in the visible link text.
Generic call-to-action text names no hostname, so there is simply nothing to mismatch there; the value is that the real destination is still shown in plain sight.
This closes the link-text-mismatch gap that authenticated phishing exploits — e.g. the Jan 2026 SendGrid campaign, whose…

Contact Folders (separate from Groups)
Currently, Proton Mail allows creating Contact Groups, but these work like mailing lists: selecting the group sends an email to all members at once. That's useful for mass messaging, but it doesn't solve the need to simply organize contacts into categories.
Proposal:
Add the ability to create Contact Folders, where each contact inside the folder remains completely independent (selecting the folder does NOT send an email to everyone in it, it's purely for visual organization and easier searching)
Example use cases:
Family: Mom, Brother, Wife
University: University support, Classmates, Professors
Work: Boss, Team, ClientsEach contact remains independent, folders are…

Move the Undo Dialogue Box
When you archive or delete an email, or do anything really, a small yellow dialogue box appears at the bottom of the list of emails to offer you the option to Undo the action. This dialogue box floats atop the subject line of the bottom most email in the list. So if you are trying to manage about 1-page of emails in your inbox, that box stops you in your tracks until you either manually exit it, or wait out its timer to fade away.
It's a minor nuisance, but a very real one. The last email in the inbox…

Give users a setting to disable the confirmation popup after drag-and-drop moves.
When I move an event graphically in Proton Calendar by dragging it to another time or day, the event window opens every time and I have to confirm the change manually.
This can become annoying when reorganizing several events, because dragging an event already feels like a clear user action.
It would be useful to have an option in the Calendar settings to choose whether the event window should open after moving an event by drag and drop.
For example:
“Open event details after dragging an event: On / Off”
This would let users who want confirmation keep the current…

Folder depth limit and unread email indicator
Hello Proton Team,
First of all, as a French user, please excuse my English which might leave a little to be desired... ;)
Thank you for your excellent work. As a daily user of your services, I would like to share two feature suggestions regarding the Proton Mail interface that I believe would greatly improve the overall user experience:Increase the subfolder limit: Being a true neat freak when it comes to organization, I find the current 3-level hierarchy limit a bit restrictive. It would be incredibly useful to be able to create more nesting levels for hyper-precise categorization (this…

Multiple adresses and Gmail
BM Silvia has summarized well what I would like: I would like to be able to connect with a sub-account Protonmail that would be only dedicated to the emails of my Gmail box. Currently, creating a Protonmail sub-account is useless since by connecting with the sub-account, we view the emails of the default parent account.
Example : "arthur.martin@proton.me" is my default Protonmail account.
I would like to create a new sub-account "arthur.martin.GMAIL@proton.me" to see only my Gmail import emails (and NOT "arthur.martin@proton.me" emails).1 vote -
Blur event names
When I want to make arrangements with someone, I sometimes send a screenshot of my weekly view. Then I have to blur out each event name using an image editing program. It would be helpful if there were a feature (an icon with an open and a closed eye) that lets you blur out all event names. I’m thinking of a feature similar to the one in a banking app that lets you hide account balances.
Then I could blur out all appointment names with a single click and create a privacy-compliant screenshot to send to someone I want to…

Consolidate gmail accounts into one ProtonMail account on import via Easy Switch
I tried Easy Switch to import my Google Workspace accounts. It imported the main account fine, but I wanted to import another Workspace account into my main ProtonMail account in order to consolidate them, but Easy Switch kept asking to create a new ProtonMail user, which I do not want to do. That made the switch so much harder than it needed to be, since there is no simple way to import a local mbox file without having to first download, install, and configure TWO OTHER APPLICATIONS (Bridge and Thunderbird), and it STILL doesn't entirely work. I'm posting a separate…

Quick Way to Convert EML to MSG?
If you need a quick Way to convert EML to MSG, the Aryson EML Converter provides a fast and dependable solution for converting EML emails into MSG format without altering the original mailbox content. The software is designed to preserve every important email component, including the message body, sender and recipient information, subject, date and time, attachments, internet headers, inline images, hyperlinks, and formatting. As a result, the converted MSG files remain identical to the source EML files and can be accessed without compatibility issues in supported email applications. The software allows users to upload a single EML file, multiple…

Ability to change event times with the mouse, like in Apple Calendar on Mac.
In Apple Calendar, I can change event times by moving the mouse to the bottom edge of an event block. A line then appears with arrows above and below, indicating that I can “stretch” or “shorten” the event.
I can’t find this feature in Proton Calendar, and I have to edit each event manually. What used to take me 5 minutes in Apple Calendar to plan my week now takes much longer in Proton.
This feature would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
