National holiday support for more countries
There are so many countries that doesn't have national holidays support including MAJOR COUNTRIES (ex. Japan, South Korea, Singapore...)
Also we want national holiday in local languages names not only in English.

Support email redirect
Right now the "Forward email" rules are severely limited, as they are not full-fledged redirects.
This means that forwards still end up in the main Inbox (so you have to have an extra filter rule to trash them, and these rules do not work at all on BCC recipient addresses.).
Please add the option to treat forwards as full redirects.

I'm migrating from gmail where I use "Settings -> Reading pane -> Below inbox". I depend on this for my workflow/layout (portrait aspect-ratio email window).

automatically sending email by Imap to protonmail from other internet/email providers than gmail
I'd like to have the possibility to have automatically send the email to Protonmail which is now handled through my internet/emailprovider which is not Gmail. I got a lot of mail and I donot want to import this mail manually on a single occasion as Proton offers by Easy-Switch. Besides that I stopped using Gmail as being a part of a Big Tech firm like Google.

number of calendars in plans
Hi, I've subscribed to Unlimited Plan but intend to downgrade to Plus.
I'm querying the number of calendars...the default is "My calendar" and I've created 2 others to a total of 3 calendars. However, under Settings>Other Calendars there's also an 'inbult' calendar "Holidays in Australia". Does this count towards the overall limit allowed by each plan especially Mail Plus?

Enhance Thread Navigation with Chevron and Navigation Arrows
In Proton Mail, when a long email thread accumulates, each reply-all can include all prior messages, requiring extensive scrolling. To simplify this, it would be incredibly helpful to introduce chevron-style indicators to collapse or expand email threads. Additionally, having up and down arrows to move between emails would mean we don’t have to scroll like crazy when someone replies-all. These additions would make handling large conversations far more efficient and user-friendly, similar to the Apple Mail app.

Attached Photo's - files size shrinking option before sending
With my old Blackberry email client on android- which I still use - I can upload photo's and then it will give to option to shrink the file size to medium or small in order to prevent large photos to be send. This prevents going over the 25Mb file limit per e-mail and also doesn't make your storage capacity fill up unnecessarily quick.
I really miss this in many e-mail clients. Would save so much work

Ability to Easily Copy or Export Entire Conversation Threads
Hello Proton Team and community,
I’d like to request an improved way to copy or export the full conversation history of an email thread.
Current Issue
Even though Proton Mail displays all related emails in a single conversation column, it’s currently not possible to copy the entire conversation at once. Each message has to be opened and copied manually, or users have to inspect and extract the content through HTML/JS workarounds, which is far from ideal.
Why This Is Problematic
This limitation becomes a real obstacle in several situations, for example:

Proton Calendar: Remember reminder settings
It would be great if the reminders that I set for an appointment could be remembered and automatically set per default for the next appointment I create.
Example: I choose "Remind me in 1 day" as a reminder for an appointment. For the next appointment, "Remind me in 1 day" is already suggested (instead of the annoying default 15 minutes per notification and 15 minutes per email).5 votes -
Create settings option to choose folder to start new Proton Mail session
When I start up my Proton mail client (IOS and MacOS) the default folder is always Inbox. However, I have a bunch of filters firing that move my mail around and I want the first folder to load to be a folder that is selectable in the settings section.

Edit Notification Type in Calendar ios app when creating events
When adding an event in Calendar ios app, you cannot edit the type of notification. Not even sure how the type is chosen, as it does not say.
If you want to change to alert, it has to be done via browser.
Would be nice to choose Alert or email. Or have a default setting for notification type for events

Proton Calendar for Wear OS & Apple Watch
I'd love to see Proton Calendar come to Wear OS and Apple Watch as a native app.
Right now, the only way to see Proton Calendar events on a smartwatch is to sync through Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, which means handing over your encrypted schedule to the very companies whose data practices drove many of us to Proton in the first place. That's a real privacy gap.
What I'd love to see:

Haptic reminders
Quick event creation via voice dictation, encrypted and synced instantly
One-tap Proton Meet join directly from wrist notifications

Highlight last read email in folder view
Some other email clients (e.g. outlook) highlight the last read email in the email folder (inbox, etc.) by changing slightly the background shade or colour to make it stand out.
This is extremely useful when working through emails, clearing out etc. When you enter an email then leave again it shows you where you were in the list. In the case where you view an email and delete it from within the email and so return to the list the focus should go to the next (oldest) email.

Keep the next email selected after deleting the previous one.
For a smoother workflow, it would be great if, after deleting an email, the next one in the list were automatically selected. Currently, ProtonMail returns to the inbox view with no email selected, requiring an extra click to choose the next message to delete.

Download
Allow singular or multiple emails to be downloaded to your phone. Currently this is not provided and seems basic and easy to provide. (Most apps allow this even browsers).

Allow for syncing Proton Calendar with Thunderbird, which is the client I use for PM emails on my iMac.
Proton calendar currently does not have support for 3rd party apps, such as Thunderbird. I use Thunderbird with all of my PM email addresses and do not want to have another app open it is convenient from my personal and freelance work emails to be all in one place.

Improve contacts groups management
The overall experience on managing contacts on proton has become really bad.
You cannot create groups, meaning list of contacts, from csv, so if you make a contact list of 80 people for work, you have to add all them manually to a group. If you have multiple groups to create it quickly becomes a nightmare. If you send an email to a group, it does not save ?? So if you want to prove an email has been sent or reuse it, well you cannot, you either make screenshots or external records to proton, or you have nothing

Sync with outlook more often
Sync currently only happens once every ~4 hours. Please reduce this to 15 minutes or less!
