  1. Add hotkeys to switching between day, week & month view

Sort of like Google calendar, it would be great if on my keyboard if I could just press "d", "w" or "m" to switch between day week & month views.

Similar to how pressing "/" opens up search!

  2. Restrict SMTP Token to Specific Recipients to Limit Damage if Leaked

I need a secure way to use SMTP tokens on a webserver so that, if a token gets leaked, the potential damage is limited as much as possible.

    My main requirement:
The token should only be usable to send emails to a specific set of recipients. I want to be able to define (and limit) allowed recipients (by full email address, or by recipient hostname) when generating or issuing the SMTP token.

    Key points:

The SMTP token must not be valid for sending to all addresses; it should work only for the recipient addresses or domains I specify.

  4. in Proton Mail auto-moving to the next message after a mail deletion

I suggest a new useful enhancement: in Proton Mail, auto-moving to the next message after a mail deletion instead of returning to the mail list. Thanks

  7. Allow group contacts duplicate

A feature allowing to duplicate a group of contacts would be useful. Let say you want a group of people that you invite to an event but then want to create a sub group for those who will participate. Instead of having to enter manually all the names, you could just copy the initial group and remove the ones not participating, thanks.

  8. Events should overlap instead of always taking up separate columns

Like in google calendar, smaller events inside larger events should overlap on top of the larger event instead of forcing the larger event to be half of the column size. This makes it easier to view events at the same time. For example, I have "work" in my calendar, but I also have meetings throughout my day in my calendar. This causes work to become half-sized instead of just overlapping the meeting on top of the work event.

  10. Drastically Improve Preview Text (Very Simple Fix)

This is SUCH an unbearably simple, easy, and game changing feature (I have no idea why it hasn't been implemented yet). This primarily relates to the iOS app, but the web app can use improvements too.

Please allow for multi-line previews! An optional 4 to 5 lines of preview text from the email would be great.

Why in the world would you forcefully limit notifications to an incredibly uninformative mere line or two?

You can't even read the content of emails at a glance because the default preview is so horrendously limited (and it looks ugly as **** in general…

  11. Native "Free/Busy" Website Embed (Bypassing Google)

    Dear Proton Team,

I am a dedicated Proton user relying on your services for privacy. However, I am facing a major hurdle in using Proton Calendar for my business workflow.

The Problem: I need to display my availability to clients on my website (e.g., Wix, WordPress). Currently, there is no native way to do this. The only workaround is sharing an ICS link to Google Calendar and embedding that. This fails for two reasons:

Sync Latency: Google updates subscribed calendars very slowly (up to 24 hours delay), leading to double bookings.

Permission Conflicts: Google treats subscribed Proton calendars as "read-only"…

  12. ProtonGroups/ProtonLists to send secure and private newsletters

    A proton based newsletter service

I send a newsletter to thousands of subscribers. Due to my subject, many of my subscribers are using Proton or a PGP-compatible service. It is sad that I can’t send an encrypted newsletter.

This could be a paid feature that would allow paid user like myself to send an email to a list of subscribers.

    • For each "ProtonGroup", there would be a simple public interface where people could subscribe/unsubscribe
    • Optionnally, people could subscribe by sending a mail to a newsletter+subscribe@ adress
    • Each ProtonGroup would have a list of emails adresses that are allowed to send…

  13. Group/merge status update mails

    //What?
Group and/or merge status update mails automatically based on recurring and/or recognized key indicators like track&trace number, purchase order number, support ticket number, etc.

    //Why?
Current inbox is spammed with (unnecessary) status update e-mails, creating a confusing and cluttered inbox.

    //How?
Automatically group status update e-mails - outside of a conversation - based on sender e-mail + key indicator rules. Instead of a new e-mail appearing in inbox, create or update current group so all e-mails related to a specific subject (e.g. purchase order) stay together. Comparable to conversations in Mail or chats in any given text messaging app.…

  14. AppImage packages for immutable Linux distributions + Flathub

    Hello!
With immutable Linux distributions gaining popularity, perhaps there's a chance you could build an AppImage versions of your applications. That way you could provide support for all distributions alike.

There are also community-made wrappers for your applications on FlatHub. I believe these are not supported by you, I would appreciate you taking a stance on them. They look legitimate, as signed by "Proton AG", but could in theory compromise security of users.
    Example:
    https://flathub.org/en/apps/me.proton.Mail
I'd say either you provide the Flatpaks, or outright reach out to Flathub to get them removed.

    Kind regards
    Paweł Olejnik

  15. Make it possible to take a screenshot from my email in Android

I want to take a screenshot from an email in the Proton app (Android), but something ('turned off by your administrator') is blocking that. I want to be able to change that setting. I'm my own admin, but can't turn it on.

  16. Composer placement and reply experience

On desktop, the Composer has two modes: Normal and Maximized. The issue is that when replying to a message, the Composer overlays the email thread. This makes it frustrating to:
    1) constantly scroll or minimize the Composer to view previous emails for context, or
    2) manually drag the Composer to the left side for every reply.

    Suggestions:
    - Short term: Allow users to set a default Composer position (left or right side of the screen)
    - Mid term: Redesign the experience so that replies are embedded in the email thread by default, using the pop-up Composer only as a fallback…

  17. Add „one day before“ to reminder options

Calendar offers the option to remind me one week or one hour before an event, but not one day before. That is the option I most frequently use and it is cumbersome to always have to add it manually. Please consider adding this to the calendar!

  18. Let LLM (proton scribe) summarize and pick out the most important emails from a single day

We all get lots of emails, and sometimes it's easy to miss the most important emails. So the suggestion is that you should be able to write a prompt that the LLM can follow, and then it should be able to wade through all emails for a given time range, and then point out which emails are MUST READS based on the prompt or otherwise give some sane summary of the emails that were received during that period.

  19. Custom TLS Certificates for Custom Domains

I think it is important that users are able to upload and use custom certificate for their custom domains on Proton.

This would still involve using Let's Encrypt, the main difference is not using Proton's certificate for connections made for custom domains.

This will require being able to securely and privately upload or generate a necessary private certificate, and then creating the let's encrypt entry.

  20. Add "select all messages" option in a keyword filtered research in inbox

    Hi

It is not possible to select all the messages after a keyword filtered research in root inbox.

    For example:

I cannot delete all the messages containing the text "linkedin" because i can only select messages page per page and not all of them at once.

    Do you understand ?

    Thank you.
    Regards
