Calendar app
IOS widget looks awesome with its sleeky outfit and round shapes but the app looks outdated and bulky. Please update the app to look like the widget.

Stylus - S-pen: follow link and select text (Android)
Proton mail for Android: Enable selecting text and opening links using (Samsung Galaxy Tab S11) S-pen / stylus - this doesn't currently seem to be possible. Currently when using the S-pen, I have to switch to using finger touch to open a link.

Multiple options to create a view - current drop is too limiting
The first criteria for creating a new View is too limiting.
▪️The first condition criteria needs to include options for labels and date range. It also should undo the View actions if created by mistake. I created a view that did not work as expected and had to undo over 500 emails label actions.

Favorite Folders in top left side panel
In both mobile and on web, I would like to control what folders are on the left, especially at the top. Outlook allows one to add folders as favorites and the favorites (if you have any) are at the top of the left side panel.

Integrate birthdates from contacts into calendar
I store birthdates of friends and family in a separate calendar in Proton Calendar. At the same time the contacts feature allows to add data about persons like brithdates. This means this data needs to be entered/stored two times.
Intead, it would be great to be able to display birthdates of people stored in Contacts, in Proton Calendar automatically.
Besides of reducing the amount to work to maintain data, it would also make users utilize contacts more.

Monthly view widget for both Android and iOS
I’d like to suggest a new feature that would greatly improve my daily planning: a monthly view widget for both Android and iOS.
Current Situation:
Proton Calendar currently offers a widget for upcoming events, but there is no option to display a full monthly calendar on the home screen. This would be incredibly useful for visual planning and quick reference.Feature Request:
I would love to see a widget that shows the entire month at a glance, including:
- All events and commitments
- Week numbers (which are essential for many users, especially in professional and academic contexts)
- Customizable…1 vote -
Save an attachment to an event
It would be very convenient to be able to attach documents directly to an event on Proton Calendar.
For example, a PDF for a meeting, so that it can be easily accessed.
This would also allow those invited to an event to retrieve the attached files. For example, tickets for a concert.1 vote -
Import calendar feed link directly
I want to import my school calendar into Proton Calendar, unfortunately it’s a link and not an .ics file. Please add the o-toon to directly import a deep link. Until then I won’t be able to use Proton.

Make the “Proton Mail footer” smaller.
I see that you can apply text formatting to the signature, but you can’t make the “Proton Mail footer” smaller. I don’t mind that it appears, but I don’t want it to be the same size as the rest of the email text. It seems reasonable, since we aren’t paid to advertise your service. If I can’t set the size I want for it, the only option is to remove it.

Contacts more searchable, organizable and messageable.
1) In my contacts, I would like the text in the "notes" to searchable. 2) I would like to be able to create a group with some contacts that I do not have email addresses for. 3) In the mobile calendar app, I can phone a contact, but the message button is greyed out. Would love to be able to message contacts from here.

Proton Scribe Linux support
Proton Scribe is a great tool for writing emails, however the lack of support for letting users run Proton Scribe locally on a Linux system limits the usage and the privacy of this feature greatly

Add color to event based on #tag in event title or body
I'd like to define tags or keywords and associate them with a color in my calendar. For example if I have a calendar entry that has the title "Drop off #kids" it would be colored green because of the tag #kids. If there is an entry such as "#meeting for lunch with Silvio" it would be colored yellow because of #meeting and so on.
The tags could be in the title or in the body. This would also allow a very easy synchronization of colors for shared calendars, because you only have to share the coloring rules for each party…

Show alias as sender, or at least next to it
When replying to an email sent to alias, the "from" field is populated with the main email, not with the alias.
As per my tests, the alias is ultimately used as sender, but this should also be shown on the user interface when sending the email. It's confusing and error prone otherwise.
If not directly in "from", show it somewhere next to it.

Allow Android app to open a local ical file
I maintain a local calendar on my LAN that I would like access to on Proton on the go. I am currently syncing the ical file to my phone, but there is no way to configure the android app to automatically read/import a local ical file.
Right now, in order to achieve this I would need to punch a hole in my firewall and make my calendar publicly accessible.
Several potential solutions:
- Allow the android app to read local files in the same way that public ical files can be imported
- Another option could be something like proton…2 votes -
Add the ability to delete emails only from a specific group
Add the option, when clicking to delete a group, to also delete the email addresses in that group. Why is this necessary? First, it is a common option in many other contact managers. Second, there are times where contacts are being sourced elsewhere and periodically refreshed via importing from that other source. Currently, the only option is to manually search for every email that is in that group and delete them individually. This is very, very inconvenient.

ProtonMail mobile app allow attachments from other apps
As of today, it's only possible to source attachments from:
- my photo library
- take new picture
- import from...
None of these options allows me to choose from an app on my Android mobile phone. I would for example like to source pictures from my Synology Photos app.

Calendar Week view improvement
The existing Week view in Calendar is too busy and cluttered.
This is in both Desktop and Android Mobile.
An additional Week view layout that shows just 7 days, without the full list of times displayed would be a better user experience.
The Android calendar app "aCalendar" by Tapir Apps has a much nicer layout for the Week view.
See below for example screenshots (fifth screenshot is the Week view):
