  1. Monitoring feature for Business plan :Auto-forward  both sent and received messages within an organization

Hi, for business plans, it would be interesting to have a function that allows administrators to keep an eye on users (employees) created within a single organization and to view emails sent and received from particular senders ( ex: an important client or supplier). Admins and users created within the organisation would receive notifications about that feature (maybe in the form of a mention or tag on forwarded emails) to let them know.

  2. Reduce the minimum family users to 2 insted of 6, then reduce the price

Currently the family package is starting at 6 users.
    A family doen't start at 6 but at 2 :)
So, it is really an expensive cost to pay for 6 users when you are only 2 or 3 family members for example.
I would suggest to reduce this price by reducing the minimum of family users.
And then, we could be able to add family members as soon as the family is growing and children will be able to use emails.

  3. Edit as new

I recommend having the 'Edit a Message as New' function in Webmail, to be able to choose and edit any email as if it were a template or draft message. Thunderbird and Zoho Webmail have this useful feature.

  4. More/Better routing options for incoming emails

As an enterprise user of Protonmail, I'd like to have more options for routing incoming email flows.

In particular, I'd like to be able (like Google Workspace, for example) to route non-existent email addresses (from protmain perspective) to an external MTA (an exchange server or similar).

This could enable a smooth transition (or long-term use) between a third-party email provider and protonmail users on the same domain name...

  6. draft opens in a new window for the proton mail desktop app.

I'm a big fan of the desktop app so far, but one thing that would be a nice option to have is if the email draft opened in a new window. This would make it easier to draft an email since the draft isn't competing for space against the email I'm responding to.

  7. Proton Android - Please move the 'Messaged Moved to Trash' above the bottom toolbar

Please move the "Message Moved to Trash" popup to above the toolbar when deleting a message.

There are times when I want to click one of the buttons after deleting a message from the inbox and the popup just sits there in the way.

  8. Android app navigation between emails

    Hello,

    • Could you please make possible navigation between emails (previous - next) with swipe left - right when reading an email?

    • Also could you make possible automated action after deleting an email to go to next?

That would make the application much more easier / faster to use.

    Thank you!

  9. More detailed diagnostics for email domain configuration

Proton has a nice tool for helping one configure DNS records to migrate an email domain to the Proton servers. However, the tool completely hides any details when something is not working correctly which makes it difficult to diagnose and resolve. If one uses the Refresh Status in the Domain names page, and some items show as being incorrect, one should be able to get the following details of what went wrong:
    1. The IP of the DNS server that was queried
    2. The response that was received
    3. The response that was expected
Without these details it is difficult…

  10. Adding a security layer for settings editing in Business plan

Hi, first for the context : in order to prevent anyone from mistakenly changing the account password proton demand to type the old one to ensure that you are the admin of the account.
This pop up window is important and should be for every other sensitive settings such as deleting domains, adding/deleting users to the organisation. I suggest adding this type of layer to prevent people from purposely or mistakenly editing any sensitive settings.
    Thank you

  11. Flag & Checkmark

Can you add a Flag and Read Checkmark on emails? If you read an email but need to follow up, you can flag it. Once it's resolved you can click the flag to turn into a checkmark. Also add sorting by flagged emails.

  12. [Mac] Close desktop app to Menu Bar instead of Dock

I like to keep the app open for quick access. But after I'm finished I rather it to stay out of the dock, especially if I still have unread emails and there's a count badge on the icon. I can't stand the count badge, so I either have to close the app or read all emails.
It would be nice to keep the app running, but in the dock, then I can use spotlight search to open the app anytime needed.
In the same way as ProtonVPN works.

  13. Fullscreen Mail preview (like Newton had)

in settings or by double clicking one email open the mail-only preview

No left hand menu with inbox, drafts etc.,
No list with list of mails sorted by date
ONLY the email itself on "fullscreen", exitable with esc or maybe a back button on top

    similar to this picture: https://betanews.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Newton-Windows-e1502968289179.png

  14. Monthly view for Calendar

On Android I only have the option to view my calendar as the schedule view in the widget. Its far more important for me to see my diary at a glance as the monthly view without going into the app.

  15. Allow to filter emails by alias

The user should be allowed to filter their emails in the mailbox based on each email alias they're having. Like the folders feature, but instead of creating a category, the email alias would be the filter.

  17. Auto notify (similar to auto forward)

For certain incoming emails (rule "if from = ..."), offer the option to notify another email. Just "you have email in proton". Not forward the whole email as auto-forward does.

I have two PM accounts, and I always get such brief notification in my primary account when there's new mail in my secondary account. I've looked and can't find where I set that up.

I occasionally send personal messages to family that I'd rather not share with the googleverse. One person still uses gmail, and I've suggested that they get a free PM account.

If they had a free PM…

  18. Add an administrative comment for each address defined for a given user

When one is creating addresses for proton users, it would be nice to have a comment field for each such address to indicate the usage/reason for the address.

  20. Import own OpenPGP subkeys only

Allow users to import just the encryption and signing subkeys, without the OpenPGP master key.

Users can generate new subkeys just for Proton Mail. The scope of the keys becomes limited. Independent revocation becomes possible. The keys are exported to keyservers under the user's own identity. Proton Mail becomes part of the decentralized web of trust.

No impact on Proton Mail's usability. Users can still use the keys generated on the servers. Advanced users gain the option to maintain full and exclusive control over their OpenPGP identity while benefiting from Proton Mail's services.
