    Hi, this is regarding labels.

    When opening the labels drop-down menu, it should vanish after clicking "Apply" or somewhere else on the screen.

    I personally need to select and deselect multiple labels on most occasions and am hindered in my workflow, when the menu closes after only one action has been performed. Really unhappy about that. On mobile iOS it already works that way, why not in web? So frustrating.

  2. Quick View your aliases in the Proton Mail app

    I would like the opportunity to see my aliases, in a quickview window.
    I have like 11 different aliases, that i use for different things, but having to navigate to "Settings" each time, when i cant remember the exact alias, is a bit annoying. On mobile its even more annoying, because of more menus to go through before i find the list of e-mail aliases.

  3. Only upload new photos to Proton Drive

    When commencing photo backup/upload from mobile device, only upload new photographs from the date of activation to Proton Drive.

    Mostly previous photos would already be backed up elsewhere.

    Now, when I click print, the app opens a window with a print button. After I click print to send to the printer, I have to manually close the print window. Please have it close automatically.

  7. search folders

    I often wind up doing the same searches over and over again. It would be extremely useful to be able to save these searches as virtual folders. This would enable you to create dynamic folders for things like:

    • Emails that will expire in the next 48 hours
    • Emails with attachments over 1mb
    • Emails from family members

    Searches like this are more useful than static folders for several different workflows. This is one of the few features I miss from other email clients.

  8. Better Simple Login Integrations

    Better integrations with simple login to make the UX smoother for some common operations:

    • It would be useful if when looking at an email in the to or from field in your inbox, if the email is one of your alias' in a synced simple login account to show who the email is sent to and description from simple login.

  9. Ability to move or remove the Folders (or other) section from the Sidebar

    While it's great that we can hide some of the default mail folders (Spam, Trash, etc), I'd love to be able to completely remove the "Folders" section in the sidebar. I don't use folders and it takes up valuable real estate in the sidebar. Or, barring that, allow us to move it to the bottom, so it's mostly out of the way.

    I suppose the same request could be made by some for the Labels section for those who don't use labels.

  10. have the option to copy email and attach it to a new email

    Hi,

    How often you want to share a email trail as "justification" to a different recipient. You can of course "select" to content but that often goes bad on an phone, but if we would be able to "copy" an email and attach it the a new mail it would make life hugely easier for any user

  11. Optimistic feedback

    It would greatly improve the user experience if the different processes could be done with an optimistic feedback. Meaning that the process should assume the operation will succeed and proceeds with executing it immediately, rather than waiting for confirmation of success before moving on.

    A good example would be when deleting an email. Currently, Proton waits for it to be processed before updating the UI, which makes the UI sluggish. We even see a blank screen for a few seconds before displaying back the list of emails. It could be snappier if the UI was updated right away and process…

  12. MACOS Client: Need to be able to send links directly from SAFARI.

    In order to fully utilise the MacOS Client, one needs to be able to send links from the browser, using the standard MacOS routine (CMD+L) of sharing links.This is currently a non-existing feature, and I see few if any discuss it.

    (This, coupled with an actually FUNCTIONING linkage between the MacOS client and MAILTO: links in the browser, seeing as neither exists/function the client is rendered as an island that breaks user expected workflow and offers poor UX)

  13. Select multiple on Proton Mail App based version

    I understand the select 50 emails option exists on the desktop version of the Proton Mail but can we get it added to the app based versions. I think the majority of people are using app based and this would make things a lot simpler.

  14. Find/Select/Expunge duplicate messages

    While moving messages from previous ISP to Proton using Mail Bridge (from multiple accounts into separate folders over a few days), the process('es) had to be restarted multiple times, and resulted in many (1000s) duplicates. If not for the Mail Bridge and my previous MUA's facilities to deal with dups, it would've been painful and time consuming to track them through Proton Mail UI.

    There currently seems to be no facility to deal with duplicate messages.

    I would like to propose the addition of a crucial feature to enhance the use of Proton Mail on mobile devices. This feature involves synchronizing contacts and calendars on Android and iOS devices using WebDAV (Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning) technology.

  18. Indipendet mailboxes for the same user

    Hello,
    activating the Proton Business Suite I have 20 mailboxes per users they are not indipendent.
    I've tried to organize them with folders and filters but it's not possible to replicate a mailbox feature with predefiniter folders as:
    Inbox
    Draft
    Sent
    Deleted
    etc etc
    The lack of this make very difficult to manage the different addresses and expose to human errors since you have to manually select the from mailbox.
    I love proton suite but the lack of this basic feature make impossible for me the complete migration from MS or Google.

  19. Allow default back navigation using mouse and keyboard

    As a user, I want to be able to easily go back to previous page using the typical back button.
    The back button can be on the mouse(e.g. Logi MX series) or CMD+Back Arrow on keyboard.
    This behavior works fine in the browser, but does not work in the desktop app.

    When paging up/down through the message list, please align the top of topmost message box to the top of the list so all the information about that message metadata is visible. Also it would be helpful if the full date:time information would be visible as well
