Multiple Mailbox Support Without Proton Mail Bridge and 3rd-Party Applications
I run a business and I need multiple mailboxes to manage the flow of emails. This should have been baked into the design of Proton from the start, since it is not a new concept (hint, it's a several decade old feature).
How is using a 3rd-party solution (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) in conjunction with the Proton Mail Bridge the only available solution?

Synchronise search index with server
This would allow many things:
1) searching on mobile
2) not needing to download all the emails on every client (just the index)
3) not needing to rebuild an index for every client1 vote -

Add an option to prevent deletion of emails until n days have passed and to disable the setting wait n days
When you set it to 5 days then any emails you delete today will be deleted in 5 days, change the setting back to instant deletes and in 5 days emails will again be deleted instantly

Implement an option for Contacts avatars
Allow the user to select from these 3 options:
Display BIMI (Brand Indicator Message Identification) icons in e-mail message list and in e-mail messages
(I believe this is the current behavior, and could even be left as the default)Display only my uploaded Contacts avatars
Display my uploaded Contacts avatars; display BIMI icons where I haven't uploaded an avatar
Making more user control available to those who care to take the time to customize their Proton Mail experience can only be a good thing.
I spent an awful lot of time uploading images for all of my Gmail Contacts, and…

Gmail Key Bindings
I have used Gmail since it was first released. I depend on being able to use Gmail key bindings for navigating and creating email. Without this basic feature, Proton mail is a non-starter.

Protonmail composer indentation
I need a way to make uniform indentations in my emails. This most basic of Word processor functions is usually accomplished with the tab key. Since you have a sign the tab key on another function. Please come up with another way to accomplish this important formatting task.

Do NOT include archived emails in the All Email folder
The All Email folder can be useful to some people but it is far too easy to delete all emails. Archived is supposed to be a long-term store and should not be included in All Emails.

Do Not Remove Labels When Items Trashed
If you accidentally deleate an important email, it's much easier to find if it still has it's label.

Option to hide the All Mail folder.
This folder can be a nuisance, it is possible to delete all emails in a few keystrokes. It would be better to hide it altogether.

A Proton Facebook app
I think we need an end-to-end encrypted messaging application. One that works like FarceBlob (by Meta) but doesn't let Mark ZuckerBlob drain the life from the planet.
(and by the way STOP putting Groogle and FarceBlob options on this page)

Deletion of original (source) mails after been imported / read
It should be possible to delete original / source mails after import automatically. The workflow of importing / reading mails using Proton Mail client and afterwards going to other clients only to delete already read mails is absolutely annoying and senseless. There should be an user option.

PWA, support for mailto protocol
Currently Proton Mail has a good PWA but it's lacking the crucial
protocol_handlers
member so it can be used for email easily. (per the spec of
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Progressive_web_apps/Manifest/Reference
)
To assist with this I've made a manifest that fixes this issue and implements a few other fixes (eg fixing the app not respecting rotation properly)

Company wide backup system
We are currently using the Proton Business Suite across our entire organization and are generally very satisfied with the privacy and security it offers. However, we've encountered a limitation that we believe is important to address for business users.
At the moment, there appears to be no way to implement a centralized or company-wide backup system for user data. While it's technically possible to back up individual email accounts, this would require administrative access to each employee's mailbox, which is not appropriate from a privacy or compliance standpoint.
We would like to request the development of a secure, scalable backup…
