A Linux desktop app that supports multi-accounts
To be able to add, as on Thunderbird, several Proton accounts in the same Linux desktop app (I'm not talking about alias, or the ability to easily switch between two accounts). I need to see simultaneously, all my accounts in the same window. As I know, the beta version can only be used for one account.

Search by and apply labels in Proton Mail iOS app
Be able to search for labels / tags and apply them to mails in the iOS app, in the same way that you can via protonmail web.

When creating a new folder it should automatically be alphabetized. This is only for the main folders not any sub folders
If in my email There are existing folders titled Inventory, cakes, and Zenith. If I add a new folder today labeled Amazon, it should automatically be placed in front of the folder with Apples on it. This is only for the main (first folders created) not sub folders. Example if a folder titled Recipe is created cakes would go inside recipe, however it would NOT be automatically alphabetized.

Set a password for email, same as with ProtonPass
I need a separate password for my email only. It already exists for ProtonPass and I need it for ONLY my email as well, one that logs out after xx minutes. I don't want to put in a 2 password option with a code ocode on an app like Authy, that is way to convoluted

Make it easier to add and edit filters
Please make it easier to access and update filters from the desktop app and android app. This could be sidebar access on desktop and a popup on android. It is annoying need to cycle between the inbox and settings to update filters.

Allow selecting "all" past the 50 item page limit in specific searches
Currently when selecting all from your inbox, there is a prompt asking if you would like to select every item or just what is on the page. This doesn't happen if you select all from a search page and you must delete one page at a time. Very inconvenient for trying to delete bulk emails from a search like a sender address.

"Always move sender's emails" to folder on android
In web version of ProtonMail, if you are are moving an email from inbox to a folder, you have the option to "Always move sender's emails" to the given folder. We need this option in the Android app. (Other apps as well.)

donner la possibilité de trier les mails selon les entêtes de la boite
la boite mail affiche les mails en 4 colonnes (initiales, auteur, sujet, date). Il serait bienvenu de pouvoir trier l'ensemble des mails en cliquant sur le haut de la colonne (par exemple sur la colonne auteur, trie par ordre alphabétique d'auteur, deuxième clic en ordre inverse) comme dans l'appli mail d' Apple. cela permet un nettoyage rapide des mails.

Consolidate new mail messages in Windows/web client
I get an individual notification for each message that arrived after I've been away for several hours. Can you just do one consolidated "You have N new emails" notification instead? Thank you.

Icons for Folders / Labels
Icons for Folders / Labels
I like keeping my inbox organized with folders and filters. It would be nice if, on top of the colors, we could also pick from a few basic icons for some default categories (money icon for finances, briefcase for work, person for personal things, etc.)
would look a lot nicer

Filter emails by message text
It would be awesome if additional filter options could be added.
One useful one would be to filter by date, so that any messages, from as little as 12-hours old to 6-months old can be automatically sorted and deleted.
Another useful feature would be if filters could be applied based on the main body text, rather than just the subject.2 votes -
Adding The Ability To Rename The "Trash" Folder
At the top of an e-mail is the icon of a garbage can. When I hover my mouse over it, a message appears that says "Move to trash." Also, on the left side of my inbox is a folder labelled "Trash."
I would like to change it to "Move To Garbage" and rename the folder to "Garbage." In the part of the world I live in, the word "Trash" is considered a slang word and the correct word is "Garbage."

send mail as gmail
I would like the ability to use my @gmail account under Identity and Addresses.
I understand that encryption may change, but it would be more convenient for me to be able to send mail as an @gmail account, then to need to open up gmail every time I need to reply to an email forwarded from my gmail account.
There is no getting around needing a google account.

Move formatting toolbar (or add show/don't show toggle)
Please move the formatting toolbar to the bottom of the window when composing an email (at least on Mac) or add a show/don't show toggle (like the Apple mail app).
The current toolbar feels like a hovering something which covers the top of my email and it does not match the overall clean look in the client. See the ios Proton app as an example: no toolbar, clean and comfortable UX.
If all else fails, do it via a context menu (again, like in the Proton mobile app for apple). Not ideal, but better.1 vote -
Remind me if no reply
I frequently send emails where I need to follow up at a later time. An example might be boarding passes for a flight, or a thread that will be relevant when I meet a particular contact on a certain day.
Boomerang for Gmail does this well. I can schedule an email to return to my inbox at a given time. But what really makes this useful is that I can define a condition in some cases. "If plumber does not respond within two weeks, THEN return this email to my inbox" or better yet "If plumber does not respond within…

Use badge or icon for message count instead of [ ]
For readability, it would be better to differentiate multiple messages in a thread/conversation by using a CSS badge or icon with the count instead of the number in square brackets, especially useful when the subject contains words in [ ]
For example:
[5] [CLASSIFIED][Notice!] Some message

Ability to use alias phone numbers and attach them to alias email addresses
Please create the option to have alias phone numbers in addition to alias email addresses and have them connected to each other if the user wants to.
So for example, if you have 15 email aliases each assigned to a separate website login, then also have the option to add alias phone numbers that can be attached to the alias email addresses. The phone numbers could be a VoIP number and can be used for text, calls, and 2FA and keep them on the Proton browser/email app so the user can check them anytime.

Age of email in filter rules
The ability to use the age of an email (when it arrived and/or how long it has been in a folder) in the filter system. Archiving, deleting, and reminder to look at something, are the three that come to mind as use cases.
