How can we improve Proton Mail?

  1. LONG TERM Plans - LIFETIME Plans !!!

    INCREASE length of paid plans AND of course REDUCE pricing.

    Currently the longest plan is an expensive 24 months plan. I like Proton, and I am fine to commit for the long term, but I also want PROTON to commit for the long-term with a 5 or 10 year plan, or why not with a lifetime plan, which should of course be much lower cost.

    With this approach we users get protected from random price changes, and Proton get a loyal and captive user base, to which it can overtime sell more services.

  3. Permanetly enable "search message content"

    Users should be able to enable the "Search Message Content" feature PERMANENTLY, rather than having to manually download all messages every single time. It's untenable to have to wait for these minutes-long downloads constantly and forever. Our emails need to simply be searchable. Automatically. Please address this! Search is an absolutely baseline feature, and ProtonMail's is still not all the way there.

  7. Integrate generative AI to the search bar

    Proton Mail is, where all the important information is, that I need to run my business. Ever so often it happens, that I am looking for a specific piece of information that I know, is buried in some email somewhere. And with the UI and the search that we have today it is very annoying to find anything.

    It would be very cool, when some kind of personal AI assistant would help me with that. For example i could ask: “what was the price I landed on with client x on project y” and it gives me the answer. Like…

  8. Select ALL messages matching search criteria (not just 50)

    When searching for something that displays large number of emails, it is handy to have a button/option to be able to "Select ALL matching criteria on every email", not just the first 50.

    Example; Trying to delete a bunch of similar emails, searching by subject and want to SELECT ALL emails to be able to delete them all at once, instead of going 50 at a time.

    If there's a lot of emails, this can be a huge timesaver.

  9. Display ALL emails from this sender

    Would be great to get a feature that Zoho Mail has where you can Display all of the emails you've received from this sender...

    This would be a one button option and would save having to 'copy email' then 'search by email', and would encapsulate this in an easy manner, allowing you to see all emails from that sender quickly.

  12. Expose contact notes field in sieve filter

    According to the Sieve documentation, when using an expression like:

    header :list "from" ":addrbook:personal?label=Your Contact Group"

    ... the matching variables will be altered. The matching variable ${0} will always contain the last email address contained in the specified list. If the list was marked with the note 1, the matching variable ${1} will contain the display name.

    I would like to see at least one more address book field exposed to the script. Having the Notes field populated into ${2}, would allow more information to be passed to the filter about the contact, which could be used to better process…

  13. Add 'Agenda' view to Proton Mail ('Today' view too limited)

    It would be great if we could have the Agenda view in Proton Mail (web) in the right sidebar. The one day 'Today' isn't a big enough window of time, and to consume a constant several hundred megabytes of extra RAM just to have better foresight of what's to come by opening Proton Calendar is unreasonable.

    I want to know what's on the horizon when I'm using Proton Mail and only open Proton Calendar when I need the weekly/month view or to make major edits. Maybe the 3 Day calendar view would also fit into the sidebar?

  16. Proton Pass Yubikey support

    So the new Proton Password manager is great n all but it needs better security on the browser extension.
    No Yubikey (or similar) support, using a pin to unlock rather than say a pass phase. Thankfully the app has biometrics.

    2. Generate an email with xyz kind of tasks
    3. Auto Categorize Emais

  19. Dissociate / Transfert an alias from a Proton Mail Account to anorher one

    Be able to extract an alias from a Proton Mail  Account and associate it to another Proton Mail Account (already existing or to be created).

    Alternative : Be able to access by password the mails linked to one alias but not the other alias of the Mail Accounts. My problem is that I want to share my alias to different users (typical contact@company.com) but I don't wznt these users to habr access to my password or the mails received from the other alias.

    EXample : My Proton Mail Account has 3 alias : original.alias@protonmail.com alias2@protonmail.com alias3@pm.me
