  1. Bulk Cleanup/Sweep

    Probably the BEST and only feature I still like Outlook for, is their Sweep feature. This allows the user to MOVE all email from a specific sender to delete folder (or any other folder) immediately. As well as it has the option have it automatically MOVE (or any folder) from a sender after it is 10 days old or to move all except the most recent email from the sender. This feature is fantastic for getting rid of old email that is unnecessary.

  2. Group by email

    I cannot delete emails by the email sender. I may have many advertisements etc from numerous companies. Or even a bunch of email from a particular person I wish to delete as a group. This is a common feature on many email apps. Please add this to make it easier to delete by specific groups of emails. We should still have the option not to check any emails in the group we do not wish to delete. Thank you

  3. Comfortable view for android app

    Please, is it possible to implement comfortable view for android protonmail app??

    The image shown on the download page of protonmail, shows a spaced comfortable inbox for protonmail app, but android app is always on compact mode. My finder literally presses 2 emails at a time, due to how small the email lines are on the inbox for each thread

  4. Let us subscribe to email, if we already have pass

    I have proton pass subscription and I need the email feature, not the free one but the paid one, and for that you are "forcing" me to paid for the unlimited that I don't need, I just need to use your email. let the subscribers of one of your products subscribe to another product instead of having to pay alot for all the features. I think that given the times we are living and lots of people wanting to "flee" from American products like google and others, this would be an improvement to your service and your business

  5. A receive-only mode for Proton mail

    A receive-only mode for Proton mail could help:

    - Preventing employees from using it to send unapproved messages.

- If the account is hacked, it can’t be used to send spam or harmful emails.

  6. Making the Proton Mail App Free

    While a similar suggestion exists, it is undetailed and specific to windows. I am talking of all of the app versions of proton mail (macOS, windows, Linux) to become free. (Proton Mail bridge would not become free, it is its own thing.)
    The reason for this is because it simply doesn’t offer any features. If anything it seems to lag behind the website slightly but also autoupdate other parts from the website causing ui clashing and the app itself is seemingly overall an electron contain version of the progressive web app. Therefore I propose that the app becomes free in…

  8. Save screen space when displaying proton email entries

    Screen space is at a premium. I just migrated from gmail to proton mail plus desktop.

    I would like to see more email entries displayed in all of the folders (inbox, spam, sent, trash, etc) by reducing the space between each entry. It seems that currently each email entry takes up a double space. Only when an attachment is present in the mail is the "second" line space used. Otherwise, the email entries are centered in a double-spaced row.

  9. Separate notification management for Mail and Calendar on MacOS

    I would like to have calendar notifications appear on-screen, but I don't want notifications for new emails. Currently there is no means, as far as I'm aware, of restricting notifications within the MacOS app to one or other of the services - it is currently all or nothing.

  12. Use local language model to prioritize mails, like Apple Mails

    Prioritaire emails dynamically with a local AI model. Can be easily done with a Small Language Model (SLM), similar to the already used one in the mail editor.

    Selection process can be established in two ways:

    • Either the LM is called periodically or at each received emails, a prompt insert all 20-30 last received one and ask a shortlist of 2-3 urgent.
    • Either for ez cc review mail, the LM is asked to note a mail (urgency, importance), notes are pondered and top 3 are displayed as priority

    Default contact database
    On Android systems, it is still not possible to use the contact data available in Proton-Mail as default contact data. The contact data used for phone calls or various messaging apps must be maintained independently of the Proton contacts.
    Are there plans to build a contact app that provides the address data for Proton as well as for the other apps?

    pouvez vous mettre dans le proton "normal" (c'est a dire sans premium ou autre) la possibilite de mettre une photo de profil svp ? ce serai mieux je trouve car cela permettrai de retrouver les mails qu'on a eu du premier coup d'oeil. si on voit par exemple un papillon on se dit "tiens c'est intel" ou un canard "a ca c'est moi". sur gmail on peut le faire.

  16. Time Format, option to display Timezone, option to change Timezone

    In Language and time settings, a new format that also displays Timezone.
    We can currently choose between
    1:00pm
    13:00

    but I would also like the option to have
    13:00 (UTC+0)

    or more geneally custom formats if possible. This is relevant to me for converting emails to pdf format.

    If my timezone is Europe/London, I expect the appropriate DST adjustments to be made too. (display summer times as BST, winter times as GMT)

    I would also like to be able to choose timezone displayed, rather than it automatically be taken from my system.

  17. Account switcher - the instant switch UI is best (signed in emails appear in dropdown)

    As title. It keeps going back and forth. I much prefer being able to switch accounts with 2 clicks. (Not the "Switch or add account" flow that takes you back to the sign in page).

  20. Remind me if I use reply instead of reply-all

    It has happened several times to me that I hit reply instead of reply-all on an e-mail sent to several people. This caused problems in my work.

    It would be great if there was a clear visible hint when replying only to the sender when the e-mail was sent to several addresses, or even a visible button [add all recipients] to fix the solution.

    Maybe even swapping the reply and reply all buttons in the UI is enough, because it seems I often click on the first one. I find the icons not easy to distinguish.
