Full iPhone Duo Support for Proton Apps
With the launch of the iPhone Duo, more and more people will likely consider switching to foldable devices.
I think many of us would really appreciate proper iPhone Duo support across Proton's iOS apps in the coming weeks, especially layouts that adapt seamlessly between the outer and inner displays.
If full optimization isn't feasible in the short term, even a letterboxed compatibility mode would be a welcome temporary solution rather than dealing with stretched or broken layouts.
Would love to know if iPhone Duo support is already on your roadmap!

Show calendar events that span multiple calendar days, but have start and end times at the start and end time, on day view
On desktop, when you have an event that spans across midnight but is just a few hours long, it shows in the normal day view. This is what I would expect for a calendar interface. But on mobile, as soon as an event crosses over the midnight threshold, it shows as an all-day event across both calendar days that it touches.
This is confusing because it leads me to believe that my calendar is not occupied at the time those events are scheduled. The mobile functionality should match desktop: show these events in the day view, not as all day…

I'm new to the platform and love the commitment to data privacy. As I slowly migrate away from Google, I want to setup things more organized. I was trying to create email aliases / hide my email and I couldn't find within the mail app. When I found the KB I realize hide my email is in Pass app. Can that feature also reside in mail? Forward-only addresses: forward custom domain mail without keeping a copy in the inbox
I need to forward all mail sent to an address on my custom domain (e.g., support@domain.com) to an external address without a copy also landing in my Proton inbox.
We have several company addresses that exist only to route mail to other services, like a support address that feeds our helpdesk. Right now every message to those addresses also shows up in my inbox, which clutters it with mail I never need to see there.
What I'm looking for is forward-only behavior: the address receives the mail, sends it on to the destination, and keeps nothing in my mailbox.…

Splitview in Proton Mail on Android tab
A split-view / 2-column layout for tablets, iPads, and foldable devices is urgently needed. The current single-column mobile view wastes too much screen space on larger displays and makes navigating through emails slow. Please add a native tablet UI!

Keyboard Shortcuts + Improving "Add Event"
The current shortcut cheat sheet is fine. Please do include the ability to have other actions be triggered by a keyboard shortcut too such as "snooze" or have the ability for the user to customize the keyboard shortcuts to their preference for each action or an action that is not given a default shortcut.
Also the mail app should detect events in the inbox better so that hovering over the date and time should just create that event or at least allowing the user to highlight it and right click it to create the event. Right now, can only manually…

"Mailing list header" should not waste that much space
The "This message is from a mailing list. - Unsubscribe" currently takes up a lot of screen space!
While I like the option to easily unsubscribe, its not a task that I do often. So that feature should not take that much space.
Also the message "This message is from a mailing list" is not very helpflul since its already clear that this is the case for most mails.
The mail header currently has a lot of empty space (on large screen). Please change that feature so it stays aside and did not make the header larger.

Proton Scribe should be included in the Proton Unlimited plan
It's not really an "Unlimited" plan if a feature is left out. Why is Scribe included in the Duo and Family plans, but not Unlimited? I don't need a plan for more than one person, and I don't need any more storage space, so having to upgrade to a multi-person plan as an individual is an expensive option just to get this one feature (the only feature lacking on the Unlimited plan).

Show categories above folders
It would be nice to show the categories above the folders on the left side panel.
I use categories much more often than folders and right now I have to scroll through all the folders before I can choose a category for an email.
A bit more rearranging flexibility would be welcome.
Or, come to think of it: if I choose "pit mail into category" don't show folders at all and vice versa.

Feature suggestion: Day counters / milestone tracking in Proton Calendar
Proton Calendar currently only looks forward: events and appointments. I'd like to suggest adding a simple but powerful complementary feature — day counters, similar to apps like Daycounter.
What it would do:
- "Days since" a chosen date (e.g. company founded, quit smoking, contract start, sobriety, purchase date)
- "Days until" a future date (countdowns to renewals, deadlines, anniversaries)
- Optional reminders at milestones (100 days, 1 year, etc.)Why it fits Proton:

Event share links
The ability to share links to events on Proton Calendar, in which recipients can RSVP using, instead of exclusively via email.
Would be a nice feature, especially when working with people outside your organisation, and in a personal setting.

Actions when hovering over an email
I suggest adding an optional setting to the interface that disables quick actions when you hover the mouse over an email. These actions include move to trash, move to archive, mark as (un)read, and so on. It’s quite inconvenient to switch between emails when your inbox is divided into two panels (the email column on the left and their details on the right). This means you have to reach further with the mouse and risk accidentally clicking on the icons.

Detect hidden text in emails
In emails detect hidden text - for instance, if an email arrives and presents with a white background and has white text the text is automatically highlighted for the user. More and more emails are doing this where they are hiding things in emails and it would be good if this was identified by default.

Calendar notifications after an event
I frequently use calendar to log when I have done something or when something happened. In these cases, it would be helpful to have an option to add a notification after an event, in the same way that there is currently an option for notifications before an event.
For example, if I had a cleaning task which needed completing once per month, I could create an event on the day I completed this cleaning task, then set a notification for one month after this event, to remind myself that this task is due to be repeated.

PAKE authentication protocol: OPAQUE
Good morning,
I read this old article on the SRP protocol: https://proton.me/blog/encrypted-email-authentication. It is now considered less secure than OPAQUE, as described here https://blog.cryptographyengineering.com/should-you-use-srp/, and has recently been adopted by Brave https://brave.com/blog/brave-accounts/.
Do you have any plans to update the remote authentication protocol?

Allow excluding specific dates (e.g., holidays) from recurring events without deleting single occurrences
Currently, Proton Calendar allows creating recurring events, but there is no way to define dates that should be automatically skipped by a recurring series (e.g., school holidays, vacations, public holidays).
Please add the option to link recurring events to an exclusion pattern, so that occurrences falling on specified dates are automatically hidden or skipped — for example by selecting another calendar that contains holiday events, or by manually entering exclusion dates for a series.
This would make it much easier to manage regular appointments (weekly lessons, courses, meetings) throughout the year without having to open and manually delete every single…

You should add easy integrations for Grok Bot to Mail and Calendar
Recently used Grok Bot to help manage an old Gmail account with years of junk accumulated. This kind of integration to my Proton Mail account would be helpful. Proton is my primary account, but I still have quite a few years of stuff that a bot would be helpful to sort through and purge.

Worried about Proton's constant invasion of privacy
Stop forcing banners and promotions on users inside Proton Mail. It Is highly distractive and disrespectful.
Commercial interests are communicated via a one-time email, but mustn't be forced onto the user by invading their apps. I'm a paying member, big plan, yet I'm being - frankly - spammed by these 'offers' many of which don't apply to me anyway. The important point: Stay out of my area. It's not yours to enter.
