Option to hide the main id
Please provide a way to hide the main account id.
The main account id is the id we use to login our account into this service.
For privacy it MUST be able to be hidden and be separate from other email addresses we use to send an email.
Because an id is valuable information just like passwords, spies often make use of it.
The main id should be treated as a vulnerability.
You have to give a user a warning at least or an option which allows a user to disable the mail address that includes the main account id,…

Can no longer upvote that one so I'm creating a new one, hoping at some point Proton will give an update on this. I switched from Google thinking "what could possibly be missing in the year of 2023 that would be considered basic functionality" and its this, turns out.

I like keeping my inbox organized with folders and filters. It would be nice if, on top of the colors, we could also pick from a few basic icons for some default categories (money icon for finances, briefcase for work, person for personal things, etc.)

Option for persistent timestamp
Currently on the web UI, the time of the email is positioned in the main list on the right, or top right in the preview of a selected email.
But ONLY when its today. As soon as its yesterday or before, you only get the day. You then have to click down arrow icon to show the full date and time.
Showing the date and time could be an optional feature, which would only mean the ability to set whether that down arrow is a default of down or up per user.

Allow Alias Creation Within Proton Mail Application on Phone
I would like to create an alias within the phone application. I cannot tell you how many times I have used a "throw away" email address while in person. This would be a whole lot quicker if it were included all in one place on the app.

Age of email in filter rules
The ability to use the age of an email (when it arrived and/or how long it has been in a folder) in the filter system. Archiving, deleting, and reminder to look at something, are the three that come to mind as use cases.

Add snooze functionality to custom folders
Extend the snooze feature to support custom folders. I use custom folders for different business "inboxes" and would like to be able to snooze emails in that custom folder.

New Filter Condition
When a customer creates or edits a filter function, s/he can select from which folders the filter should work.
In other words: apply Filter only to selected folders e.g. filter only Inbox, or custom.

Add an archive button to the navigation bar on Android
Other email apps notifications offer convenient "Trash" and "Archive" buttons, but in the Protonmail app, when viewing a single message, only a trash button is available. To archive, we need to navigate through several steps. This process is unnecessarily complicated, especially given there’s space in the navigation bar to add an archive button alongside the trash icon.

Account switching - provide themes to differentiate between accounts
I use 3 different Proton Mail accounts for different aspects of my life (eg social, business). This means I'm constantly going to the "switch Account" screen to switch between accounts.
Problem: The problem is, all 3 of my accounts look identical, with the same purple icon, the same initials, and the same name next to them. This makes it frustrating and tricky to switch accounts as I have to read the small email address to identify the one I want.

Increase limit of folders
I'm new to Proton mail and was trying to organise my email accounts in Proton mail. When I try to create sub folders, I get this "Maximum 3 levels in the folder hierarchy" error message.
Why is there such a limit? After searching about this, It seems that other users too have been requesting an increase in this limit.
Can you guys do something about this and increase the limit? Labels just don't work well for multiple email accounts.

Allow reordering folders in Android
Allow reordering the folders (Inbox, All Mail, custom folders, etc.) in the Android Proton Mail app.
