1. "Random" option when creating a profile

   When creating or editing a Standard VPN Profile, you select the country and then are given the option of "Fastest" or a given city/server. ProtonVPN used to have the option of to select "Random" here as well, ie a random server from within a specific country, but that seems to have been removed. Please add that option back.

2. Proton VPN firewall, post quantistic and other improvements

   • the possibility to link proton profiles to the account, so when I use the vpn on different devices I can find my own profiles
   • the possibility to change the server with a dedicated button which will follow the current VPN settings (same type, protocol, country, and so on) just using a different server
   • the integration (for mobile Android) of a firewall which can block internet connection for selected apps from user. This would be really really useful to block internet connection to app that doesn't need it (clock, calculator, file manager, and so on). In the market place there are some solutions (like NetGuard) but they are obviously incompatible with a VPN since they use the same approach of a VPN. Using constantly Proton VPN all apps have to use internet through the VPN so an integrated firewall would be extremely powerful.

3. Set a Favorite Server as Default

   In the next Proton VPN update, I suggest that the user have the option to set a favorite server as default. That way, whenever someone turns on their computer or phone, they are logged in directly to it. For example, I really like the performance and speed of server 101 (Brazil). But having to select it every time is quite inconvenient.

6. [TV App] - Kill Switch

   Can we please have a kill switch added to the TV applications, this is asked for over and over I understand it may not be the most pressing item to add but it really is needed, many of the other apps I've tried do have this implemented and one of the points of using a VPN is to mask over our real IP, sadly I've had the TV app disconnect numourus times leading to my real IP being exposed, this happened just yesterday twice and I couldn't understand or find out the issue so a kill switch would ultimately solve any issue of disconnection without any notice.

7. A full account can be deleted in a Proton app, dangerous idea

   A full account can be deleted in a Proton app, since there is in the app "settings/account/delete account" ?
   I find it very risky that this account delete option is available there. Not everyone is sufficiently technically savvy and an accident happened quickly. Especially because I personal have 10 installations of the VPN app which I would like to share with my family members. In addition, I would like to be sure that there is no unfortunate deletion.

   And even more when 2FA is activated, in addition to the password, the 2FA code doesn't even need to be entered for a full DELETE, how crazy is that.

   So please remove the account delete option in apps or ensure that when 2FA is enabled, 2FA is definitely required for the account delete action.

   Please add servers back to Las Vegas. It was a huge reason why I chose proton back in 2021. Im from Nevada but work out of the state which causes all sorts of issues when browsing or trying to log into financial institutions.

9. allow port forwarding on a router-based wireguard vpn

   Please consider allowing port forwarding on a router-based wireguard vpn. I am unable to find any documentation on whether this is currently possible or not. I have an openwrt router using a wireguard vpn. I am happy with it, but it would be better if I could forward a port into my home network to allow plex access from outside the house.

    Get Proton Pass (or yourself?, I'm not sure how that works) FIDO2 certified.

    I've hit a rather important login where I need to either switch to Passkeys (from their own 2FA app) or use SMS (WTF 😅). Unfortunately they only accept FIDO2 certified Passkey managers, which Proton Pass apparently is not.

    Could you please consider adding or switching to a server provider that is physically located in the Philippines?

    I’ve noticed that other VPN providers like Mullvad and Windscribe use Zenlayer for their Philippine servers. Perhaps Proton could explore incorporating Zenlayer as well to enhance local connectivity and performance.

16. Announcement of DNS Filterlists or further Insight into NetShield

    It is hard to decide wether to choose Proton VPN with Netshield or a custom DNS Server to avoid beeing tracked by Android App Trackers and App Analysis Tools. This is because Proton gives little information about what connections are being blocked by NetShield. It would be very very helpful to know which common IPs or Tracking Providers are being blocked. That would prevent Users from having to make decisions by gut feeling. It would also bring more Users who are not as tech savvy as others and who want a whole in one solution. Other DNS Server Providers like dnsforge don't hesitate to share their filterlists. Proton should do the same. At least Proton could name common Providers that are being blocked, e.g. adobe expierience cloud is blocked, google firebase analytics is blocked, google tag manager is blocked yes or no, etc. Thank you.
