  1. Add netshield setting to profiles in Windows app

    Allow netshield to be specified on/off in profiles as it is in the Android app. This allows ad-blocking to be turned off easily by connecting to a new profile if a web site is not being displayed properly

  4. All VPN servers on a global network (a similar feature to Surfshark Nexus)

    Currently on Surfshark they have options such as RotatingIP (without any disconnections) thanks to Nexus. This is their name for having all of their VPN severs connected on a global network. This also can change the users server incase of over crowding without any loss of service. (For more info on what it does you can google Surfshark Nexus). Would be nice for a similar feature on Proton.

    In the macOS app the swiss flag is rectangular instead of being square. Can that be adjusted?

  6. Port Forwarding, and/or uPnP, through (i.e. Pfsense or router gateway as client) Wireguard to client PC(s)

    For connections initiated with a standard Wireguard client (instead of a Proton App, since PfSense runs on FreeBSD).

    Need PfSense Port Forwarding supported; and that is without needing to log into PfSense and constantly update to a new port number.

    Bonjour, Sous Linux Mint une connexion nommée "factice" s'affiche lorsque je me connecte avec Proton VPN et qui ralentis considérablement la connexion, cet un phénomène récurant dans la communauté Linux, pouvez-vous remédier à ce problème ? Merci (avant que nous changions de VPn)

  8. ISP detection

    On IVPN you can easily see which isp is connected to the servers of the countrys. That is nice to prevent them collecting and connecting requests from the VPN Servers.
    It would be nice to see that as well &

    For me it is a important thing, that on Secure Core you can connect 2 servers, which have the same ISP.

  9. Better technology to bypass the Social Media ban

    I want new software or technology that helps Australians bypass the social media ban. Why? Because X is not just a social platform—it’s also a source of news. Plus, this ban would require us to prove we’re over 16, and I don’t trust the government with my data. Why? Just look at the Medicare data breach—I don’t want my information leaked.

    So, ProtonVPN team, please do something.

  10. Apple TV App - Split Tunneling

    I would like to see a split tunneling function in the Apple TV app.
    The Android TV app already has this and I thought it was great as some services block VPNs. It would be a huge QOL update here to not always have to connect/disconnect the VPN.

  12. Settings

    Ability to transfer settings. For example, if I have ProtonVPN installed on one phone then want to switch to another phone or upgrade the phone, I want the ability for all or some of the settings from my previous phone to transfer over instead of manually having to configure each and every setting every time. This is especially important for excluded apps that requires tedious time and effort to go through a long list of apps.

  13. Add proxy on to change country to certain location in the world

    I run a company in another country, and the VPN alone isn't sufficient. If you could set up a proxy to make the devices appear as if they're in a different location, it would greatly help, especially for any government-related work on our website that requires specific location settings and options to be enabled.

    Request: On the "Create Profile" page, automatically suggest a profile name, the suggested name including the SERVER name and the CITY in which the server resides.

    For example, if I were to select server US-IL#200 from the dropdown menu for selecting the server, something like "US-IL#200 (Chicago)" would be automatically added to the name field as a suggested name. Similarly, if I were to create a profile selecting the fastest server in the US, the suggested name could be something like "United States (fastest)" or similar. Including the protocol in the suggested name would also be good, but at least…

  16. Business - Unlicensed user support

    As an organization admin, I would like the ability to have unlicensed users that can administer and assign licenses, as well as users to exist without a license.

    Currently every user must have a license, and there is no way to unassign a license without having to remove the user from the organization.

    As an organization, I want to be able to restrict which countries my employees can connect to.

    This would support geo-filter restricted sites, ensure traffic is not routed through certain countries, and simplify access from the client providing less countries to choose from.

  19. Besseres Zugangsprogramm bei Linux

    Das Zugangsprogramm für Proton VPN unter Linux ist geradezu armselig verglichen mit den Zugangsprogrammen unter Windows oder Android. Gleichgültig ob man Flatpak oder AUR nutzt. Linux User sind auch Kunden und haben besseres als das verdient was sie bislang bekommen. Hier hat man im graphischen Bereich wirklich nur das allernötigste getan.

    The only thing you need to know about your business is what I just stated in the title. This is especially important if you are in the UK and want to launch your company. You must always concentrate on the correct UK business plan Company, regardless of whether it is a small business plan UK or something else; you simply need to put it on paper!
