  1. USA only VPN

I would gladly pay for a USA only VPN especially if you could actually see which state you were connecting to.

  2. Select Subnet used for WireGuard

I cannot use the Default 10.2.0.1/32 address as my Router uses this network. Please add a feature that allows me to change the network.

  3. Customizable Proton Script Blocker

Find a way to get NetShield to use your dedicated DNS servers over "Tor Over VPN". Or create your own script blocker to use over "Tor Over VPN".

  4. Modify Linux app settings when not logged in

I got into a headscratcher because my gnome-keyring was reset while using the advanced killswitch. After a reboot I was logged out of PVPN and couldn't disable the killswitch since the settings button of the app was disabled. Alternative idea, include this command in the setup guide for Linux so other people with a similar issue can look up the solution from their phone or something: nmcli con delete pvpn-killswitch-perm

  5. Linux (Python-Version): Terminal command to minimize Proton VPN to tray

A terminal command to start Proton VPN in tray or minimize Proton VPN to tray.
If this was possible, you haven't to close Proton VPN manually if you have the auto connect feature enabled.

  6. Protocol like chameleonto for restricted countries

Same as title, the stealth protocol in proton vpn kinda sucks right now, even mulavad has a better one using v2ray i think.

  7. Provide Regional Groupings/Pools of Servers

    PROBLEM:
To enable streaming on some services I have to be "seen" as coming in from a specific geographic region ... such as "San Jose or Bay Area". PBS requires this to associated you with your local PBS subscription for example.

So I am forced to select a specific server in the area to connect ProtonVPN to. But this creates a problem in that I can't use the "Fastest" feature to ensure I am getting the best speeds. This is particularly a problem when configuring a "Router VPN" connection as it is essentially permanently connected to the same server I…

  8. Add Sub-Region Options for Profiles

"Fastest" keeps giving me servers that are thousands of kilometres away and definitely not the fastest.

You already have sub-regions in the server names; I should be able to pick them for profiles.

(It would be nice to have them on the map, too, like NordVPN does, but that's not critical. It'd probably be nice for your marketing pictures too, as you'd have more triangles for people to see.)

  10. Snap package

Please make a snap package for the Linux app. It has improved a-lot recently. It's way easier to install an app from snap store than adding new repos to system package manager. Plus the app will appear in Linux store apps and inevitably makes it more popular on Linux devices.

Hello, how is it that you don't have a server in Kazakhstan? I would really like him to be. A very important country in Central Asia, but it is not in the servers

  13. Better map: individual city markers and country outlines

The server markers on the map can be confusing, especially in very large countries. lt would be nice to have one marker per City, which would also make it easier to find a location closer to yourself in countries like the USA.
What makes it even more confusing is that there are no country outlines in the desktop (or at least Windows) client. As a result, you often have to guess where each country marker is. One marker per city would help, but even better would be country outlines like in the Android app.
Another thing that confused me was…

  14. Please re-build ProtonVPN Linux GUI app with Qt Framework

Hi! I like the ProtonVPN GUI app on Linux. It has so many good features.

But I think that the choice of GTK was a mistake. This framework is just one large piece of garbage - from both points of view - devs and user experience.

    1. Most serious, quality and useful apps for Linux (about 90%) are uses Qt Framework.

    2. GTK is unpopular. Every year more and more existing Linux software are rewritten with Qt Framework. It's stable and gives better look'n'feel experience.

    3. GTK development is chaotic. The developers themselves don't know what they want. It looks like that GTK…

  15. Share VPN connection limit with others by reducing my limit

ONLY BUG, she is needing 2 VPN connections and would love to pay the 5$ per month straight up but does not get even an extra one from free to 5$ so she will wait for a while

Maybe make it so that the people on the full Unlimited plans could transfer one or 2 of their connections to others to help convert them into paying customers more quickly

I havent tested the premium version, if that helps, can we get a discount for premium member ship?

  17. Add Custom DNS linux app

    Hello,
A feature that essential for me in a VPN is the Custom DNS setting ( with DNS-over-HTTPS or IPV6 to use whith NextDNS ) but this features only exist in the windows version of ProtonVpn. It would be great if we could have the same feature.

  19. Use icon tray to display fundamentals datas about the connection

Use icone tray to display fundamentals datas about the connection e.g:
A motif under the connection state (red/green) circle to indicate if the KillSwith is On.
And if i move the mouse over the icone, Proton display a pop up small window that list some pertinents parameters use by the connection (P2P, Country, Speed, Tor...) because display "ProtonVPN Tray"... I already know it!

  20. Split-tunneling for Nvidea Shield app

Nord VPN currently has split-tunneling for the Nvidea Shield app. Proton does not. This is important because several apps on my shield will not work with VPN and I like not having to turn it off every time.
