  2. Apple tv NetShield support

The apple TV app needs NetShield Ad-blocker support. Without this its almost useless as it is now. I really should match feature parity with the Ipad version at the minimum but NetShield would at least make it usable.

  3. Ways to organize the profile list in the Windows client

When we have multiple profiles, it’s difficult to stay organized with the current interface. It would be very helpful to be able to group and reorder the profile (and group) list freely.

  4. Support More flexible VPN lite package

I'm hoping for a Proton VPN Lite plans with a data limit of 3-5TB per month (priced between $4.99-$5.99 per month). The very unstable speeds and high latency at $9.99 per month are really daunting, and compared to other competing VPN products, I think it have no pricing advantage. I hope your teams'll consider it!

  6. After update, icon is not in the taskbar

    On Windows 10.

Since I have about 20 apps that add an icon to the taskbar, I hide many of them.

I want Proton VPN to be in the taskbar so I know if it is connected or not.

When Proton VPN is updated, the icon disappears and I have to go back into the task bar settings to re-enable it.

    Thanks

  7. Support /etc/host like format for custom domain names

Considering Android requires root access to update the /etc/hosts, the usual way to override this is by using a "local VPN" that will intercept requests and resolve based on that local /etc/hosts file.
It would be great to have that extra capability in Proton VPN.

  8. 4.1.13 where is the checkmark in the icon in the tray - this should be checked before every release.

I don't have a flicker. It's worked before. green check-mark in the tray icon is not appearing today with latest release. It should be checked (no pun intended) before every release. this is not the first time I've had this issue, I had it on at least one other release.

  9. App for Titan OS

When I had an android TV I used Proton VPN frequently. Since I have switched to Titan OS this is one of the things I miss.
    OS Website: titanos.tv
Runs on my latest Philps TV. It is a European operating system.

There is currently no VPN app available as far as I know on Titan OS. I don't know if it is possible to build within their SDK; but if it is it could be a good opportunity for Proton to get in there first.

  11. What if Proton VPN offered access to SCION?

SCION is slowly growing to become more integrated leveraged by Anapaya (https://www.anapaya.net/scion-internet). Access to services using SCION like electronic banking solutions is usually limited to companies as they can afford entering SCION networks directly. Inidividuals seem to be limited to "wormhole" themselves into SCION.
What if Proton VPN offered direct access into SCION?
If I understood correctly the architecture would be as follows: on my personal device I use Proton VPN connecting to an SCION-enabled (they call ist SCIONabled) VPN server. Whenever I require resources from SCION the Proton VPN server running Anapaya EDGE (https://docs.anapaya.net/en/latest/edge/deployment/#appliance-edge) puts…

  13. Support for NAT64

Proton VPN supports IPv6 now, and with manual configuration you can get full IPv6 from client to VPN to internet.

With NAT64 supported the user can complete the migration to IPv6 by disabling IPv4 on the client device.

The user would still be able to access IPv4-only services using a DNS64 server that converts IPv4 addresses to IPv6 addresses with the prefix 64:ff9b::. The VPN server would then translate the IPv6 addresses to IPv4. For example 64:ff9b::b077:c880 is the NAT64 version of 176.119.200.128 (mail.protonmail.ch), however 64:ff9b::b077:c880 isn't currently pingable.

If Proton VPN supported NAT64 then the outgoing address could simply…

Can Proton VPN add a feature so we can add a burner number when needed, so we can make calls anonymously to
keep our primary number hidden and our conversations untraceable, ensuring our identity always stays protected?

  16. Check Traffic Challan Online with Ease

Keeping track of traffic fines is an important part of responsible vehicle ownership. Instead of waiting for a paper notice or visiting a traffic office, drivers can use online resources to learn how eChallan systems work, understand traffic violation records, and review information about checking challan status. Online guides can also explain common terms, the details typically included in a challan, and the general process for verifying traffic fine information. Staying informed helps drivers respond to legitimate notices on time and maintain accurate vehicle records.

If you're looking for a simple guide to understanding eChallan services and traffic fine checks,…

  19. Proton VPN ZTNA, and Bandwidth sharing

I'd love a native Proton app/feature for outbound connections from my home router, with four independent options I can turn on or off separately:

Access my own network – securely reach my home devices (NAS, cameras, etc.) from anywhere, without opening any inbound ports on my router/firewall.

Share my bandwidth – let my home connection help Proton's network (extra exit capacity), fully opt-in.

Hairpin my mobile traffic through home – route my phone's traffic back through my home internet connection when I'm out, so it looks like I'm browsing from home.

VPN out specific LAN devices – pick one or…
