More Toronto Servers
I currently live in Canada and geographically closest servers to me are in Toronto. However, with Toronto having relatively fewer servers and with average server load throughout the day remaining around 70-80% or more, It has become quite frustrating. I'm an 'always-on VPN' user, So I keep on having to check the server load and re-connect to a server with lower load manually (even that is somewhere in 70%+ range), as there is no option to automatically switch server to lower load in IOS yet. This affects me significantly since I have 3 Gbps internet connection.

Custom DNS should be able to be profile-level, not only app-level
I have a custom DNS at home. I still want to use VPN and for the most part, your app allows this via the Custom DNS configuration. However, I need to manually change that whenever I leave home and use VPN elsewhere. It'd be nice if I could quickly choose between two profiles, one that is just proton-managed defaults to use outside my home. The other is one I can choose when I'm at home and want to use my own DNS (i have locally hosted services I'd like to still be able to access, my own domain blocking, etc).…

Add random connection button to Chrome extension
Would it be possible to add a random connection function and button to Chrome's extensions, like the Windows apps have? Thanks.
Because I need to keep changing IPs, and I don't want to use the same IPs again within a day.

Monitoring network activity
Concern Proton VPN add-on OR a new Proton service:
My suggestion is about monitoring every network connection made by apps / process, in real time. It doesn't have to be graphically elaborated but the idea is to know who/what established a network connection from which network adaptor, + Ip if applicable, protocol, time stamp, privilege, network port TO where (ip, and other information, usually outside the lan). The purpose is to be conscious of what communication are made in background of our personal computer such as, for exemple background active connections of a closed web browser, any IOT's, any network…

Sign in automatically when opening browser, connect automatically
In Firefox I have to sign in every time I open the browser, then hit the connect button. I would also like to be able to set a default vpn to connect to, and have favorite servers listed at the top so I don't have to search. Also would like to stop those pop up windows that show up on every tab until I cancel them asking for credentials.

Linux (Python-Version): Terminal command to minimize Proton VPN to tray
A terminal command to start Proton VPN in tray or minimize Proton VPN to tray.
If this was possible, you haven't to close Proton VPN manually if you have the auto connect feature enabled.2 votes -
Unblocking every outbound port on protonvpn's https proxies (web browser addons)
Some websites use a port which is not 80. And, for some reason, those are blocked by ProtonVPN's HTTPS proxies used in their browser addons.
This is a request for unblocking it.2 votes -
Allow searching country based on iso code
BLURB
Let's face it - it's cumbersome to search for long country names (e.g. United States). It would be save a significant number of key strokes, to include in the country search list, the 2- or 3- digit ISO country code and show this country first in the results (e.g. US for United States, or CH for Switzerland), so one does not have to choose between all the countries containing "United" (USA, UK, UAE, etc)COST-BENEFIT TRADE-OFF

Split-tunneling for Nvidea Shield app
Nord VPN currently has split-tunneling for the Nvidea Shield app. Proton does not. This is important because several apps on my shield will not work with VPN and I like not having to turn it off every time.

Add regex support to split tuneling
When an app gets updated, the executable path may change. This breaks the split tuneling setup, which has to be remade through the ui.
The suggestion is to allow user to add executable paths with regexes.2 votes -

Enabling ProtonVPN in Android through sendbroadcast() action
Different networks have different requirements. This is why give to the user the possibility to automate connections would be a win for ProtonVPN application (android). For example at work my wifi does only allow VPN over UDP, so I have to create a special profile. I would love to automate this using https://server47.de/automation/ for example (or whatever), it works very well with wireguard ( i.e. https://android.stackexchange.com/a/250566/398905 ).

Quick Toggle for Split Tunneling
Introduce a dedicated button on the main interface of the application on PC, allowing users to quickly toggle the Split Tunneling feature on or off. This enhancement aims to provide convenience and efficiency for those who frequently have to switch this option, eliminating the need to navigate to settings so often. This quick toggle button would be similar to the existing Port Forwarding and Kill Switch toggles.

Bring back Permanent KillSwitch in Linux Protonvpn v4
Protonvpn v4 on Ubuntu no longer supports the Permanent KillSwitch.
This poses a Risk if a user forgets to manually start Protonvpn or if a user gets disconnected from a current session.2 votes -
Revert changes
VPN accelerator, LAN connections, split tunneling, and Moderate NAT, most important being able to select a country (US, Japan or Netherlands) now you have zero choice and get put in a country with no data privacy laws for example.
The marketing people really hit Proton hard over the last few years you see more and more features being eroded away from free users. I thought the paid users supported the free users in their business model? was that not the ethos of Proton VPN years ago? Everyone has the right to privacy?
The blatant limitations being imposed makes you wonder…

Choose DNS through the ATV App
I'd love to switch from NordVPN to Proton but at the moment I have no possibility to set a custom DNS within the Proton Android TV app. The only way is to use OpenVPN which is really uncomfortable. Please, add the possibility to use custom DNS on android and you'll earn another user. Thanks
