ProtonVPN on my home router.
Will it be possible to use ProtonVPN on my home router? I would like to protect my entire home network and not just my individual computers. Also, will ProtonVPN have DNS services available? Thank You for your time!

iOS 14 Home Screen Widget
It would be great to be able to add a Widget to the home screen on iOS that includes:
- connection status (as an easily visible background color would be great)
- quick-connect buttons if disconnected (to profiles and/or recently connected servers)
- a disconnect toggle (can it include a confirm notification?)13 votes -

Ubuntu Touch App
Presently in the mobile operating system of Ubuntu Touch it is a cumbersome manual process to get a VPN working. Given that such users are a privacy focused bunch, and with Volla and Fairphone offering Ubuntu Touch as a pre-installed operating system option, it might be worthwhile for Proton to make an Ubuntu Touch port of the ProtonVPN app. Shouldn't take too much change to an existing Ubuntu compatible app, and would certainly garner new Proton subscriptions as the only easily set up VPN for the OS.

Diskless Servers on SecureCore
Maybe this is already being done as of recent, but i can't find confirmation anywhere that the infrastucture is configured in such a manner.
Would increase my already high trust witrh Proton, for ProtnVPN, to confirm they run their servers diskless, at least in the SecureCore.13 votes -
Android Widget
A widget for Proton VPN on Android would be nice. The ability to turn on/off the last connection profile would be the main purpose of the widget. So if you selected Fastest, it would search for the fastest server again. But if you selected a country it would only pick from that country again. And if you picked a specific server, it would try to use that server again. Same idea for Secure Core, P2P, and Tor.

Make systemd dependency optional
ProtonVPN NetworkManager Library has a hard dependency on systemd-python [https://github.com/ProtonVPN/protonvpn-nm-lib/issues/18].
I'm upgrading ProtonVPN-CLI and packaging ProtonVPN-GUI in GNU Guix [https://issues.guix.gnu.org/59246], which doesn't have/use systemd.
Could you please make the systemd optional or make seatd [https://git.sr.ht/~kennylevinsen/seatd] an alternative option?

Rotate VPN country on a schedule
I would like to have the option to have my VPN change the country on a set schedule. For example, every 10 minutes I would like to change countries automatically.

VPN default profile
VPN default profile. I use VPN for work and created a dedicate profile for it. Unfortunately there is no way for me to select the default profile, so whenever it conennects it takes the first fastest server making me change to the profile. I would like to have the possibility to change the default profile.

implement Rosenpass over wireguard and stealth protocols
https://rosenpass.eu/
https://rosenpass.eu/about/From the site:
"In recent years, “Quantum Computers” have become visible on the horizon as we look towards the future ‒ computers so powerful they could break any current cryptographic standard. Standards that ensure the safety of our online banking or the authenticity of a website pretending to be the BBC, the Reuters news bureau or your favorite low-cost airline.
Rosenpass is an important precaution against what is to come: a safeguard. It is a computer programme installed and run in parallel to WireGuard, making it immune to attacks from Quantum Computers. Rosenpass doesn’t change the way WireGuard…

Android improvements (country names, profiles, metrics, random connections)
A posted this on reddit, but I figured I'd put it here as well.
I've been a longtime user of ProtonMail and ProtonVPN and am incredibly grateful of everything they've done to make privacy accessible to more people. I also really love the new ProtonMail app. But ProtonVPN has problems.
To some it up, it seems like functionality has been sacrificed for vague aesthetics.
Specifics:
1. The name of the country you are connected to is in tiny text down near the bottom of the screen. This is even worse if you are connected to the "fastest country". Instead most…12 votes -
Disconnect VPN for timed period
My default is to leave ProtonVPN connected. If I disconnect it, its usually for a specific task, like trying to resolve zoom glitches, accessing a site that isn't available with the VPN on, or trying to speed up a large file download. 99% of the time I do not remember to turn ProtonVPN back on after the task is complete, and I discover its off 1/2 - 1 week later. I would love the ability to turn off ProtonVPN for a set time period: 1/6/12/24 hours etc and then have it resume the fastest connection possible.

Folder selection for Split Tunneling
Easily exclude all sub-executables of a service by selecting a whole folder instead of having to manually select every file by hand.
As an example, Steam needs much more than just the main executable and the game's executable to work properly with Split Tunneling.

Make an official package for arch linux instead of the AUR package
Why is there not an official arch linux package at this point? I think it would be awesome to just enter "sudo pacman -S protonvpn" in order to install it.
It's not like arch linux is an lesser known operating system.

Device status indicator (how many out of 10 are in use)
Its annoying that their is no overview of how many devices your using out of the 10 allowed.
Also, it would be nice to be able to name your devices if this feature is added.11 votes -

Support connecting over http/socks5/Tor bridges
Although ProtonVPN may not directly provide bridges, it would be convenient for users living in places with strong internet censorship to have ProtonVPN over their censorship circumvention proxies, which might not be secure. Routing traffic through those insecure proxies to ProtonVPN will provide their accessibility to the outside internet securely.
Usually, Shadowsocks/V2Ray/Clash, the famous censorship circumvention tools, provide http/socks5 proxies locally. ProtonVPN could connect to the Internet over them.

[Feature Request] Connect on Boot
Hello, I would like to suggest adding a <Connect on Boot> function to ProtonVPN Desktop App.
But first, let me give a drill-down on what is Connect on Boot.
🔺What is Connect on Boot?🔺
A. This allows the VPN app to load and connect before the user successfully login on the Computer Login Screen.B. This is completely different from Connect on Login which requires the user successfully logged in to the computer and for the VPN app to successfully load on the program startup queue before it starts connecting.
C. Connect on Boot is the perfect companion for users…
