Synology NAS Cloud Sync
I miss the capability to connect my ProtonDrive with my Synology NAS by CloudSync or Hyper Backup. This would be one of the last disadvantages compared to conventional cloud providers

I have to have a smal NUC PC dedicated to backing my NAS data up on Proton drive.
Would be great to have native backup on synology via hyper or similar, as well as file sync (secondary need).

If I have this, I will pay more for Proton, as Unlimited will not be enough for me and I want to leave Microsoft OneDrive.

I need this service in order to use Proton Drive. When is this going to be possible with my Synology DS418 Nas?

I have Proton Drive but am unable to fully use it until I can sync with my Synology NAS, since most of the files I need to back up are on my NAS.

Fully agree - the best way to abandon OneDrive and other big tech cloud services while keeping a local copy at the same time

In order to have a valid Crash Recovery Plan, businesses need to have a way to make an offline backup of the data. Our backup environment is based on Synology as well and this feature would improve Proton Drive a lot in our eyes.
I've read it might be possible via "rclone" on Docker on DSM and then making backups via Hyper backup. Although it might work it doesn't feel like a proper business product, but more of a tinkering solution. -

Of course I trust Proton, however this is not to enough, I need to have a up-to-date local copy of my files for any case. Which is of course working automatically and not via download or sth. I want to move from One Drive but without this feature it is very hard.
