Allow editing on Proton Sheets for Mobile
Proton Sheets works well on Laptop/Desktop but when viewing via the Proton Drive app on mobile (I have a Google Pixel 6a) the message "Screen too small for editing"... is displayed.
Flipping to landscape allows editing but the keyboard takes up the whole screen so it's obvious Proton Sheets was designed only only to be used on larger devices at this stage.
Would be good if work were completed to enable editing and generally update the mobile app so that Proton Sheets is truly functional via mobile.

Editing and fixing performance is key. Right now the app is a bit unusable

To add Proton Sheet for mobile is important for me,
I paid Proton for this option beneath the mobile calendar (what is working well) -

I can confirm this issue as well. It doesn't seem to be limited to smaller screen sizes—I am experiencing the exact same problem on a large-screen mobile device.
While basic formatting like Bold, Italic, and Underline works fine, tapping into the three-dot (...) extended formatting menu causes the popup to instantly dismiss itself whenever I try to adjust the font family, font size, or text alignment. The submenu disappears immediately before any option can be selected, returning focus back to the editor/keyboard.
This points to a general UI event/focus handling bug in the mobile Docs interface rather than a screen-scaling constraint. Hopefully, the Proton team can patch this soon. -

Proton updated this as planned in February. Is there an ETA?

I am trying to move from Google to Proton fully. But the sheet user restrictions is one of the main disadvantages

Is there any release date planned? This and files searching in Proton Drive are the main reasons why I don't use Proton Drive, Docs and Sheets.
With those two things I, and surely many more, would no doubt use Proton Drive suite. Files searching is supposed to be able in a few weeks, but we don't have any update from months about this.

I hope Proton implements a form view mode, like Apple Numbers has. In addition to the regular spreadsheet view, it has a view that displays a single row full screen, appearing like a form. In this view, you can swipe sideways to move to the next row. This helps a lot when working on a very wide spreadsheet on a small screen.

A workaround for this on android (until the mobile app is ready) is : open sheets in a Web browser that supports zooming. E.g. Brave. Do a BROWSER menu zoom to 50% and you will see that editing is now available (but text way too small). Then in SHEETS menu do a view zoom to say 150%. Editing should remain available.

Yes, it's important to share a small sheet of paper with other people on signal

Please make this work on iOS. The inability to edit Proton Sheets on my iPhone is the only thing stopping me from totally divesting from the Google ecosystem.

Mobile is how I use Google Sheets most often, so it is what is preventing me from fully transitioning to just being able to use Proton products.

That's essential. Otherwise, proton sheets is not an option

Blocking me from using Proton Drive. I keep hearing that it's on the roadmap but no timeline is ever provided. This is a deal breaker for me.

This is going to be a dealbreaker for me if it doesn't get added soon. Mobile sheets editing is a must have for my family and I.
