Other major technology service providers have made concrete commitments to tackle their emissions, with for example, Google pledging to run on carbon-free energy by 2030 and Microsoft pledging to become Carbon Neutral by 2030 and then Carbon Negative, taking out all it's historical emissions by 2050.
Proton emphasises using only hydro power in its initial datacentre, but I haven't seen any evidence of a concrete commitment to tackle its own emissions. With Climate Change a burning issue and other tech organisations rolling out their own climate priorities, can Proton also release a positive timeframe that its users and owners can get behind?

Given the other major tech players have detailed plans to roll out Carbon Neutral and even Carbon Negative futures, Proton should be setting out its own public plans to combat climate change and invest in the planet, else it faces being left behind.
Switching to Proton from Google would have been the easiest decision for me but the disappointing lack of a plan re: climate change gave me a long hard pause and I hope they prove me right for making the switch by actually investing in a no-carbon plan.

Currently, editing documents in Proton Drive on mobile (Android) has small delays that add up.
- Clicking to edit an existing document has loading time - could a local document be opened straight away and the changes submitted to the cloud version in Proton Drive? (I have the local backup switched on but it appears the main editable version is on the cloud).
- When rotating the phone vertical and horizontally, the document reloads, causing loading delays and moving the view to the top of the doc. Could rotating the document not just maintain the current document on view and just change the orientation?
- There's a bug whereby in some areas (certain WIFIs and poor mobile connection) clicking an existing document will instead create and open a brand new empty document which is placed at the root of your proton drive space.
