  1. app specific password for programatic drive access

    I am using MFA to access Proton services.
    I am testing Proton Drive as a backup solution, using rclone to send nightly deltas of a folder to the drive. This needs MFA, though, so it breaks after a while.
    Could you add app-specific--passwords so that this can be achieved, without using MFA for this, but still keeping MFA for normal access?

  2. Photos organizing features

    • When browsing photos in Albums, it is impossible to add them to another album. You have to go look for it in the main photos tab .. which can take a lot of time
    • Allow adding and removing from Favorites using multiple selection
    • Allow different sorting options in photos : size, date taken, date uploaded ..

  3. Please make Proton Drive available in F-Droid

    Unlike Proton Authenticator, Pass, VPN, and Lumo apps, which are available in F‑Droid, it’s sad that Proton Drive is still unavailable there. I really miss this app to have all Proton apps from F‑Droid.

  4. Protect Files on Proton Drive Desktop app

    Because of the highly secure Proton ecosystem, I want to use Proton Drive to store sensitive information.

    At the moment, ALL files and folders uploaded to Proton Drive show on the Proton Drive Desktop app, so anyone having access to the computer can see the files (access to hardware is nowhere nearly as secure as access to Proton Drive on the Web), which defeats the whole purpose and main competitive advantage of using Proton Drive.

    Please consider a feature allowing to protect selected files or folders in the Proton Drive, so access to sensitive files/folders is restricted.

  5. Add Recycle bin in Proton Drive app

    Adding a Recycle bin shortcut in the Proton Drive app would be great, and would avoid to have to go on web version to manually empty the recycle.

  6. Mobile app - photo upload as files, not photos

    Just add a choice in the mobile app to upload photos from my mobile as image files to "My Files" in Proton Drive, instead of forcing upload as photos to use in Albums (which is not accessible through the Windows client). This would give us the option to use a service or not and would also address all "uservoice" posts requesting the images to be accessible from the Windows Explorer.

  7. SORTING!

    For such an advanced and secure mail app, I cannot believe that you still do not offer simple SORTING: by sender, by subject line, by message content, etc.
    Am I missing something, or have you just not gotten around to adding this simple feature yet?

  8. Support downloading native Proton Docs through the Proton Drive CLI

    The new Proton Drive CLI is great. The ability to programmatically upload and download documents is excellent.

    Being able to download native Proton Docs as ODF/MD/DOCX would provide even more benefit, allowing users to essentially use the "Download" functionality that is already available for native Proton Drive docs from the CLI.

  9. Allow download of Photos via Proton Drive Windows app

    For photos that are stored in Proton Drive allow these to be downloaded via the Proton Drive Windows app and made available offline. This will allow me to store a copy of my phones on my PC.

  11. mobile proton sheets needs support to create sheet and edit

    sometimes mobile app is only available option when working away from office and need to be able to create proton sheets like we do proton docs and be able to edit them.

  12. Allow Photos in Proton Drive to have their date overwritten

    Reason for this is Proton Drive sometimes gets the dates wrong from correctly dated photos. If like in google photos, we can overwrite the date if can fix the sorting of your images

    Contexte : Actuellement, quand on gère plusieurs centaines de photos sur Proton Drive, vérifier quelles images ne sont pas dans un album donné demande une comparaison visuelle manuelle entre la galerie principale et l'album — c'est long et impraticable à grande échelle.

    Demande : Ajouter un filtre ou une vue qui montre automatiquement les photos présentes dans la bibliothèque mais absentes d'un album sélectionné (optionnellement aussi pour comparer entre plusieurs albums).

    Exemple d'usage :

    J'ai créé l'album "Randonnées Alpes 2024" avec 150 photos.
    J'ai 400 photos total dans cette période.
    Je veux voir rapidement les 250 autres photos…

  14. Sheet has to import correct cell format

    Please, fix so that Sheets uses the right format on imported .xlsx files, after import all cells are text, I change to number but Sheet keeps changing back to text.

    Add the ability to buy additional storage as an add-on to the existing payment plans, similar to how Lumo Plus is an add-on. This way it'll be possible to upgrade the amount of storage without having to change payment plan.

  18. Losen drive space from proton plan - flexible drive space

    I have the unlimited features but i need more space than 500gb in the Drive.
    Is it posible integrate a flexible drive space upgrade?

    Would be nice to be able to increase the drive space without upgrading to Duo, Family or Business Plan.

  20. Add selection options to mobile app photo upload

    Add toggles to choose functionality from in photo upload:

    1. Videos on/off
      Include videos in the camera upload.

    2. Background on/off
      Allow camera upload in the background.

    3. After activation on/off
      Only items taken after enabling camera upload will be uploaded.

    4. Disable autolock on/off
      Enables app to upload in the foreground without screen going off.
