1. Add a button to download all photos from the photos section of Proton Drive

In the photos section of the web interface, I see no option to download all the photos. When I select photos, I can download the selection and I can even select by months, but not by years and there is no select all button. Selecting many years of photos by months to download all of them is very tedious. It would be helpful to add a select all button or a download all button. Also, it would be great if photos could somehow be synced into the Proton Drive folder via the PC app.

2. Docs page color

I know similar things have been suggested before, but if a dark mode is ever added I'd much rather it affect the UI and not the page itself; I'd like to be able to choose the page color and font color myself.

This is, assuming of course, a non-pageless format is added.

3. Utilize Proton AI integration to allow photo sorting by face, location, text, or content of a photo.

Allow for Proton Drive photos to be as similar to iPhone Gallery and Google Photos as possible as far as sorting goes. Many of the quality of life features found in these apps would be very useful for making Proton Drive photos feel less cumbersome.

4. Enable Syncing with external Drives

I need the feature to be able to sync not just local folders on your PC, but also from external drives attached to my PC.

I read that this can pose a safety threat. But I still very much like to have all my data stored on a cloud and a physical drive in case I lose access or have any other problems with my cloud. I am currently using pCloud, and they allow that. That is quite the essential feature for me.

So please allow syncing with external drives as well.

5. Create a LUMO() Sheets function

It’d be great to have a LUMO() spreadsheet function that could allow LLM processing of data using my Lumo Plus account, forcing the rendering of data in a spreadsheet-friendly way.

   For example:

=LUMO(“daily average temperature in degrees Celsius for Ontario, Canada”)

=LUMO(“top 5 LSE ticker symbols by market cap broken down by month for the last 10 years”)

=LUMO(“number of new Proton products launched per year since the company was originally founded”)

=LUMO(“today’s USD to EUR exchange rate with the date of exchange in the next column”)

6. Make Photos in "My Files" visible in the Photos section and vice versa

Make Photos in "My Files" visible in the Photos section and vice versa.
Managing Photos as a subset of Files is a fairly standard use case if you want to Synch with Desktop (which is critical to me).

7. Customizable keyboard shortcuts in Proton Docs and Sheets

I use Proton Docs and Proton Sheets extensively, both in my professional work and in a medical practice. Since I prefer keyboard-focused workflows, reliable keyboard shortcuts are very important to me.

Unfortunately, some of Proton’s current shortcuts conflict with operating-system and keyboard-layout shortcuts. For example, on Windows with a German keyboard layout, Ctrl + Alt is interpreted similarly to AltGr. As a result, pressing Ctrl + Alt + 2 in Proton Docs types the character ² instead of applying a level-two heading. The same issue appears to affect other formatting shortcuts, such as quotations and code formatting.

It would therefore be very helpful if users could customize keyboard shortcuts in Proton Docs and Proton Sheets.

   Possible solutions could include:

   1. Fully customizable keyboard shortcuts.
   2. A choice between Proton’s default shortcuts and an alternative shortcut set that avoids common operating-system conflicts.
   3. Presets based on the operating system or keyboard layout, such as Windows, macOS, Linux, German, or US English.

Markdown shortcuts are a useful workaround for some functions in Proton Docs, but they do not cover every feature and do not solve the broader problem in Proton Sheets.

Customizable or layout-aware shortcuts would make Proton Docs and Sheets much more convenient for keyboard-focused workflows and more accessible to users with non-US keyboard layouts.

Thank you for considering this feature.

9. Proton Docs / Sheets - Microsoft Format compatibility mode

I’d like to request Microsoft Office format compatibility for Proton Docs and Sheets.

At the moment, I’ve migrated most of my files to Proton Drive, but I still need to keep all my .docx, .xlsx, and .pptx files in Google Drive because Proton does not yet support them natively. Since I work across multiple systems, I rely on these universal file formats for seamless collaboration and interoperability.

It would be extremely valuable to have:
   - A compatibility mode similar to Google Docs/Sheets for handling Microsoft formats
   - The ability to open and edit .docx, .xlsx, and .pptx files directly in Proton Drive apps
   - No forced conversion into Proton-specific formats when editing these files

This would significantly improve usability and make Proton Drive a more complete replacement for other ecosystems.

Thanks for considering this feature request!

10. Sheets: pick up where you left off

In Microsoft Excel, when one opens a spreadsheet, it opens to where you were when you saved it.
Google Sheets lacked this functionality, but you could work around it with a script that would open the sheets to the bottom of each page.
Proton Sheets has neither option...and it's a bit of a pain, as I've an extensive (and complex) bank ledger going back 20 years with a dozen tabs and over ten thousand lines on the main page.
So I ask - beg, plead, grovel on my knees on broken glass - please, for the love of all that is shiny, add the ability to open a Proton Sheet where you left off, rather than defaulting to the top of the sheet.

11. Direct Download Link

When sharing a file, the recipient has to open a web page, find the Download button and hit the button.
I understand that this process is also a free ad for your services but it would be very helpful for some people to share a direct download link: when clicking on the link the file is automatically downloaded.

This can be done with other cloud providers and it's really helpful, especially with elderly persons.

12. Add Bulgarian Language Support Across All Proton Apps

I would like to suggest adding Bulgarian language support across all Proton apps and services, including Proton Mail, Proton Drive, Proton VPN, Proton Pass, Proton Calendar, and the Proton web interface.

Bulgarian is spoken by millions of people worldwide and is an official language of the European Union. Adding Bulgarian would make Proton’s privacy-focused ecosystem more accessible to Bulgarian-speaking users and would further support Proton’s goal of making privacy available to everyone.

Ideally, Bulgarian localization would cover the entire user interface, including menus, settings, notifications, system messages, onboarding screens, help pages, and other user-facing content.

It would also be great if Proton could consider allowing the community to contribute to or review Bulgarian translations, as community localization can help ensure that translations are natural, accurate, and consistent.

I hope Proton will consider adding Bulgarian in the future. It would be a very welcome improvement for Bulgarian-speaking users.

15. Quiet hours for Proton Mail to help sleep and snoring habits

Request: please add a “quiet hours” or bedtime mode to the Proton Mail mobile apps, with scheduled notification silencing that still lets VIP contacts through. Late-night email alerts are a common reason people sleep badly, and good sleep habits matter for the whole household. Many people who work on their sleep, from fixed bedtimes to simple aids such as nasal strips to prevent snoring (https://massner.co.uk/collections/nasal-strips), also try to cut late-night phone alerts, so a built-in schedule would be a real convenience.

A useful version would let users set days and times, choose which labels or senders are allowed through, and see a short summary of what arrived overnight in the morning. It should also sync across devices so the settings apply on phone, tablet and desktop. This keeps Proton Mail privacy-focused and calm to use, and it would help anyone who reads email in bed and wants to protect their rest. Thanks for considering the idea, and please vote if you’d use it.
