Proton Sheets - Currency Conversion
MS Excel has a Currency Conversion component that allows you to draw from real time exchange rates by separating two currencies with a slash (e.g. USD/EUR) and selecting the Currency data type: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/get-a-currency-exchange-rate-76572809-c9a0-439e-b626-d9994576af23
Would be great to have this feature in Proton Sheets as well

Better assignment of photos to albums
When I viewing all photos (on web) and trying to organize them to album, then:
- selecting multiple photos hides heart icon - marking favourite photos - not a good idea when I want to pick exact one photos from series of "same" photos
- after selecting multiple photos and assigning it to album, I would like to stay at ALL PHOTOS view not jumping to album right away. It really complicates with the adding new photos to album if I want to go through all photos. Back button always returns to the first photo of all photos section.15 votes -
Allow to Only Sync Selected Folders
Similar to Dropbox, it would be great if I could keep only a few folders in sync locally. In other words, if I have 20 folders in Proton Drive, I only want to have 5 of those folders on my Mac; the others can be online-only.

Android - Allow multiple docs to be open simultaneously
Currently, it seems that Proton Drive does not allow multiple documents to be opened at the same time, which makes it extremely inconvenient to perform work that requires content across multiple docs. I am requesting that the app allow an arbitrary number of simultaneous docs to be open, so the user can use the app switcher to quickly pick among them.
For comparison, the Android Google Docs and Sheets apps support multiple docs.

Stop Proton Meet from kicking out everyone mid conversation
Please, make sure the Meet 'kicking out' event is :
Better announced, with a timer.
With an option to extend 1 more hour, by all meet participants.
Right now, I cannot do this in professional meetings where the chances of running late are high and often necessary. Now we all would get kicked out unannounced, mid sentence, and scrabbling for new forms and channels of communication that often have not been established.

Open documents in new window
I would like the option to right-click on a document and open it in a new window. Oftentimes, I need multiple Drive documents open simultaneously, and currently the only workaround is to have two Drive windows open at the start.

Arm linux support for proton-bridge
Currently there are no available builds for running proton-bridge on a ARM device with Linux on it. I'd love to see support for it since now i can't have my mail in 1 application but need to use a seperate web interface for only my proton based mail.

show changes in version history
Version history shows the actual state of a document, but it does not show what has changed (unlike with diff). Highlighting changes is essential to see what has been modified.

Change document or folder owner
I would like the ability to change the owner of a shared file or folder. Obviously only the owner should be able to make that change.

Saving search index
I know files and photos indexing may be technically difficult because everything is encrypted, but at least it should be optional to create and persist and index to not wait every time to reconstitutes it, when it's needed to search for files and photos. This index may be incrementally updated at the next access.
It should also be useful to have an index updated in background, maybe by the mobile or desktop apps.15 votes -
Approve suggestions
It would be good to have a feature where you can approve or disapprove suggested changes instead of having to manually delete the changes and the old version then retype the change.

Be more specific about the files/folders that are syncing
Currently, on the Proton Drive app for Windows (and maybe for macOS too, I don't know how is it on that side), when using the file sync feature all the app tells you is "synchronizing". it's very vague, and there's not even an option to pause the sync. having it, plus maybe seeing which file is being uploaded and at what speed (just like Drive's web app), would improve the experience by a lot.

Drive Photo, Add folder
At the moment, the Proton app on Android only allows you to add ‘alven’. However, these do not provide a way to move photos permanently. It would be great if the photo backup feature also included the option to set up a folder structure for permanent moving, so that everyone can back up and organise their photos according to their own preferences. I hope this idea receives plenty of support.

Format currency cells according to the currency symbol entered
If I enter "£3.00" in a cell, Proton Sheets will turn it into $3. It changes the currency but also removes the decimal places I entered. This feels kind of broken. I don't see how or why this would be expected or acceptable behaviour.

Archive photos to keep them out of the main timeline
This feature would make it possible to remove less relevant photos from the main timeline without actually deleting them. Archived photos should still be able to be in one or more albums.

Add photos to an album by going to a different album and adding it from there
When I go to add photos to an album, it brings be to all of my photos. It would be helpful if I had the option to navigate to existing albums to add photos from there. Or, if in the album options, to be able to select and "move to" or "copy to" a different album.
