  1. Proton Drive Sharing

    My wife and I use the duo plan and share documents via Proton Drive. Currently, I cannot move a file that I own into a folder that she shared with me because my drive does not recognize it as a folder. We would love to have a feature that creates a common folder option where we can add or remove documents as needed. Additionally, it would be great if this common folder could reside outside the "Shared With Me" section and allow for drag-and-drop functionality as well.

  3. Checklists in Proton Docs - allow to bulk check or bulk uncheck items

    Sometimes a long checklist is meant to be reused regularly.

    You go through the checklist the first time, marking items one by one until all are checked.

    Then next time, it's time to go through the checklist again. You have to refresh the checklist to make them all unchecked by clicking the box next to each item one at a time. In long checklists, this can be very tedious and time wasting.

    There should be a way to bulk select a number of checklist items, and then bulk check / uncheck them in a single click.

  4. Stop double spacing lines by default

    On documents, by default, when you hit the return key you get a double-spaced line. I understand that you can get a normal single-spaces line by using shift-return but that is annoying as **** Why would you make the default something I never want? You fore me to use shift-return every time.

  5. Photo backup by album should save to albums

    In the mobile app I can select which albums to backup on Proton drive. When saved to Proton drive the photos should stay sorted into those albums.

    Additionally, being able to create share links to those albums would be good as well.

  6. Select and share multiple files/folders

    At present, you can only select and share one file or folder at a time. From a business perspective, when I'm trying to share multiple files and folders with other company Proton accounts, it can be quite time-consuming to do it individually.

  7. Proton Drive Music Client

    Basically, a music client that allows me to store my offline music and play it with ease. I haven't found a good solution on iOS but the closet project I can compare this to is like Mega Cloud storage and the MPlayer (for music).

    I would never pay for a music streaming service ever again if this was available!

  8. Do not modify video files when uploading to/from Proton Drive from iPhone

    Situation:
    1. Open Proton Drive on my iPhone 15 and let it upload my camera album (both photo's and videos).
    2. Open drive.proton.me in a browser and download all uploaded photo's and video's to my Windows pc.
    3. Extract the archive.
    4. Some of the videos have "_modified" added to the file name. This means that Proton Drive had modified them somewhere in the process, what I don't like. I want the original files for the best possible quality.

    There seem to be different scenarios:
    1. Slowmotion video's are downloaded twice: once in the original version (eg. IMG1234.MOV) and…

    I save invoices and statements emailed to me (via Proton Mail, of course!) to Proton Drive, in a folder with the creditor's name. I usually want to change the document name to the date I received it, so that I can easily sort in date order. Currently, I cannot save with a different name, and I have to save it wit the original name, then open Proton Drive again, navigate to the document, and change the name. I would like to be able to save the document with a new name (Google Drive, Filen, Mega all allow me to change…

  10. Android Proton Drive "Open With"

    If I am navigating my documents on the Proton Drive Android app, I can open text and pdf documents, but word documents and spreadsheets just return an icon. I would like an "Open With" dialogue to select an application on my phone to open the document with (this is similar to Google Drive and Filen).

  11. Hide specified files or folders for a specified client

    I want to be able to NOT share specific folders on a specified client. For example, there may be sensitive files that should only be "in the cloud", but not accessible to the windows file system. Could this be arranged?

  12. Preview Microsoft Office files in Drive

    Would it be possible to preview .xslx or .docx files in Proton Drive (apps as well as desktops)? Or would this be impossible because of the proprietary format?

  13. Direct Upload links to various Apps like Zangi, Instagram, Telegram, Discord

    Create a drop-down list of various apps that can be directly uploaded to various platforms like Zangi, Telegram, instagram, Dicord etc.
    At the moment there is no way ,to share files directly to any other place,apart,from a PC.
    For people using the Phones and iPads this is not possible

  14. Google Docs to Proton Docs importer

    It would be great to have a tool to import Google Docs into Proton Docs. A sort of Easy Switch that would "translate/migrate" the Google Docs format into Proton documents. Without such tool, none of my old Google Docs can be used in Proton Docs.

  15. More photo features in Drive

    More options for working with photos would be useful. I miss the option to change the arrangement of displayed thumbnails - like Apple photos, pinching the thumbnail grid size decreases and spreading the fingers increases the grid size. I also miss the option of basic editing, such as cropping the photo. It would be good to have this and move away from Google or Apple Photos completely.

    It would also be good to have some basic photo editing, such as applying a filter, creating and later editing an album, sharing this album, or searching for photos like in Google photos…

  19. Docs: Insert image from proton drive

    One can already insert images into a Proton Doc. But only uploads from the current computer are supported. One should also have the option to use an image that is already on proton drive.

  20. Show Shared Folders in Mac OS Finder

    Please add the shared folders to the Mac OS Finder/Proton Drive integration. When collaborating on documents, it's too tedious to have to user the native Proton Drive app and download files to work on them. We should be able to click on a shared folder/file in Proton Drive on Mac Finder like any other file and have it open in the default app.
