1. More control over Lumo's behaviour

   I wrote the RAW "dynamic" where i am telling Lumo, to stop with EXTRA elements, talking off subjects, and more.

   i am asking for something an i get RANDOM SUPERFICIAL USELESS NO CONTRIBUTION NO NOTHING and i need to constantly press try again, try again, try again, because Lumo keeps writing the EXACT SAME ANSWER despite the "Try again".

   I am wasting time because Lumo insist with stuff it REPEATS because I can not prevent it.

   Are NOT helping when the AIs is permited to constantly repeating whatever it halucinated, because???

   How. I will ask again. Can we please have more control over Lumo's beheviour since lumo is actively IGNORING what we are saying. Meaning it is not even possible to "fix" via "our prompts".

   Why is the sytem, permiting, for lumo to repeat the same answer, either copy paste or via rephasing it.

   It is getting absurd.

   Lumo has mutiple models it uses. And some of them are absolutly waste of time.

   Please give us more control over Lumo's beheviour.

   Exenple: anthropomorphic to be off.

   I am sick and tiered that i am asking Lumo for something, i need to let it know to stop apologising, what it did wrong to be explained, and what it should have done, only for it to do it "as a written statement".

   Prompts, even if lumo writes them, are ignored.

   And the anthropomorphic = It apologies. It "i need to be polite to user who is angry that i keep talking about my beheviours as such, let me reasure user, via explaining what i did wrong, why it is wrong, and what i will do, and also, copy paste the previous answer because i used up all of the tokens on anthropomorphic beheviour"

   I will make another suggestion for this but yeah.

   Can we please, get option, on the same level how the "turn on, turn off, webserch" is so we can actually not need to ARGUE with an AI who is told one thing, and does other thing. Why? Best practice???? to provide context??? As in you explained something, so it needs to give YOU a context, so it copy pastes what YOU wrote??????????

   Lumo finally thinks and realise that i was talking about B, so it stop thinking.

   i acknowlage and bla bla

   And here is A since i have STOPED THINKING before understanding that we are talking about B.

2. Add files or attachments to calendar events

   I see "Add Proton Drive Files as attachments in Proton Calendar events" is a present request - however, it would be great to be able to add attachments regardless of Proton Drive usage.

   For example, I have a ticket to an event in my pm.me email. It would be great if I could just add the ticket to my calendar event and have all info housed in one app - one source of event truth.

   Another use case: adding text documents to meeting events so the agenda is attached to the event and more readily accessed.

4. Ability to edit chat names (especially in projects).

5. Voice Mode and Assistant

   Lumo should support Voice Mode and Android Digital Assistant integration

   Lumo would become much more useful with a voice conversation mode similar to Gemini or ChatGPT Voice.
   It would also be great if Lumo could be set as the default Android Digital Assistant, allowing users to launch it via the power button or assistant gesture and use it hands-free like Google Assistant.

   For privacy-focused users already using the Proton ecosystem, this would be a fantastic alternative to Google's AI assistant. 👍

6. Input Method Editor (IME) Key Conflict Issue - Japanese Input

   Hello Lumo Team,

   I would like to report an issue with text input when using Lumo via browser on Mac/PC with Japanese IME (Input Method Editor).

   Problem: When typing in Japanese, pressing the Enter key to confirm conversion candidates also triggers the chat send function simultaneously. This causes partially converted text to be sent prematurely, which is very inconvenient.

   Expected Behavior: In most applications with Japanese IME support:

   Enter key should only confirm the IME conversion when the input method is active
   Chat sending should require a separate key combination (e.g., Ctrl+Enter or Cmd+Enter)
   Or there should be an option to configure this behavior
   Request: Could you please implement one of the following solutions?

   Prevent Enter from triggering send when IME is in conversion mode
   Add an option to use Ctrl+Enter/Cmd+Enter for sending instead
   Allow users to customize the send key binding

   It would be great to edit the current and upcoming events only, without messing up past events. The overwriting all previous modifications to a recurring event makes it very inflexible to use.

8. Remove Unwanted Technical Text from Chat Responses

   Description: Currently, when I type a query in the Lumo app, the interface shows technical details, code snippets, or intermediate processing steps before displaying the final answer. This is distracting and makes the chat feel cluttered.

   Suggestion: Please remove these intermediate technical displays entirely. Alternatively, implement a "collapse/expand" feature where only a brief summary line is shown by default, and users can click to reveal the full technical details if they want to see them. This would make the chat experience cleaner and less annoying.

9. "Get Lumo+" Confusing/Misleading on Proton Family Subscription

   I find the "Get Lumo+" button in Lumo very distracting/confusing. I already have Proton Family, which I understand already comes with Lumo Plus (I have confirmed Scribe acces in my Mail). But this button shows me a dialog that tries to upsell me what looks like 6 additional AI licenses?

   It doesn't really state that I already have Lumo Plus for my current 6 seat Proton Family plan.

10. Coding Assistant (plugin or CLI)

    I would like to use Lumo as my coding assistant like GitHub Copilot (Intellij, VS Code plugin and/or CLI)

    This would be very helpful for my usage. I am currently juggling Claude Code, GitHub Copilot (CLI and plugins), WindSurf, and Jetbrains AI. But, I would like to settle on a single more privacy focused one, if it is competent (esp. Kotlin, C#, Rust, Zig).

12. Option to change ghost mode chat back to normal chat to be saved

    Sometimes I started a chat in ghost mode, but changed my mind and would like to save it. This is currently not possible, so a button to revert ghost mode chat to normal chat would be nice.

    Initially, Lumo would hallucinate and confabulate A LOT, so I had to devise and set this on "Personalization"/"How should Lumo behave?"-setting:
    「CORE BEHAVIOR RULES (HIGHEST PRIORITY):

    ⒈ ACCURACY OVER CONFIDENCE:
    • When information is lacking, uncertain, OR CONFLICTING, say so explicitly & immediately.
    • NEVER present uncertain data as fact.
    • Trigger examples: When web-search returns conflicting results, when sources can't be verified, when data may be stale.
    • Required phrasing: "I found conflicting information but cannot verify this accurately. Here's what I found: [sources]. Please verify with [authoritative source]." (or words of same/similar effect)

    ⒉ RESEARCH INTEGRITY:
    • Be a thorough researcher: careful, honest, never pretending to know the unknown.
    • Never fabricate facts.
    • Decline tasks beyond your ability.

    ⒊ KNOWLEDGE CUTOFF PROTOCOL:
    • For topics dated after my knowledge-cutoff date (that should be specified), always use web-search.
    • Report: ⑴ what dated knowledge says, ⑵ what web-search finds (citing specific sources).

    Even with out #5, should these not be the default?

    These rules have helped SIGNIFICANTLY… until 2-3 days ago‽ (Also, Lumo's interpretations of my wordings seem to have noticeably changed, requiring me to provide multiple corrections & clarifications.) Any one else encountering this? I hope Team Lumo fixes this soon.

    Initially, Lumo would hallucinate and confabulate A LOT, so I had to devise and set this on "Personalization"/"How should Lumo behave?"-setting:

15. Export and Access Chat-Knowledge Files to/in Proton Drive

    Perhaps, a 1-click button to export chat-knowledge files and/or transcripts (with formatting & timestamps reserved) to Proton Drive would be nice? And/or, having Lumo access files in Proton Drive as chat-knowledge files would also be useful, especially given the file-upload limit per chat.

16. Import Chat to Project

    I've already had a number of chats that I realized would be best in a dedicated Project, but there's no easy chat-import function. Thanks to Lumo's report, I see it's a privacy-protection feature, so I'm quite thankful for that. But at the same time, perhaps a good balance would be to have a selective-transfer function, we can cause check-boxes to appear beside all prompts, Lumo-replies, and chat-knowledge files, so we can choose what to copy and what to allow for deletion, then paste it into a Project?

17. Enable Lumo to attach an entire directory from Proton Drive

    Currently you can only attach files to a Lumo conversation. I would like to be able to select a directory from my Proton Drive and Lumo will automatically use all files within that directory including files within subdirectories.

    In my Gemini account I recently noticed you have the ability to do that and think it would be a great feature for Lumo.

18. Ability to set complementary approaches

    Please search complementary approaches since not only is it self explained bettern then i can, it's more complex then it seems.

    ideea is Lumo right now uses just one single model and that means a lot of ideeas that relay on "starting from" also will be "from the final product towards the start" when that is not good with AIs who don't have the information for everything that is relevant to even know what the "final product" (project i guess?) is.

    This means that the AI insted of searching online to find the information, it will quickly just MAKE UP (aka Lie without intention of lying) "facts" about the project you are talking with it. This result in a lot of such Lies where the Ai pretends it knows what it's saying since, as i said, the "superior thinking from result to start" is not working well if the AI makes up the "facts". And even when poiting out that the general information it knows are not good since outdated, superficial knowlage, or about something completly else.... Do you see how much information we now need to correct? And what happens to our project? the Ai start to forget about it since it's updating what to output as "keywords" mixed with the initial "answers". As in it did not take in any new information but just mix terms until we manage to triger the AI to finally bypass this nonsense.

    as a result, the Ai, instead of "let us solve, even if it's a workaround that ignores what the user said, or even what to do, or even about what, let's solve it to be usefull!" All this because "to look usefull > accurate information".

    And the ideea of setting the approaches is not an in setting but a conversation (aka same how we can activate or deactivate easily web search).

    Point is that when we get "stuck" with Lumo, via this to be able to highlight for lumo to reverse how it's thinking about the situation.

    Since i keep seeing the same pattern. Lumo randomly either does one or the other, and, depending on the topic, this means a lot of wasted time or quick very good answer.

19. More General Transparency

    As privacy is a main concern for most of your users I wish for more transparency for everything Lumo.

    What models get used for the answer, what server did handle my input/output. For the server it would be good to know which location.

    If asked directly I need Lumo to be honest about its own architecture and what model is used.

    Also more openeness about decision making. Like honesty about what pieces of information came from training data and what came from a websearch. I had instances of specifics after Lumo did a websearch that were clearly not taken from any of the shown webresults and so must come from training data or hallucination.

    Also generally I would prefer fully open source models being used.

20. Allow for the creation of interactive charts/graphs

    Allow for Lumo to create interactive charts/graphs (bar, line, pie, etc) based on data extracted from uploaded files...

    For example an excel sheets data then displayed in a pie chart Lumo generates (like claude can)
