  1. Lumo - Lessed censored on the cybersecurity themes and subjects

I'm using Lumo while working in cybersecurity (blue/red team, sometimes in challenges and CTFs)

Right now, a lot of the time Lumo won’t answer questions that could be useful for us because the system assumes the info might be used maliciously. I get the intention behind that safeguard, but it ends up being a real pain when we’re trying to do legitimate security research, hardening, or authorized testing.

As the saying goes, “knowledge is power.” When that knowledge is unnecessarily censored, it slows down our ability to protect systems and to understand threats.

  2. Mass calendar deletion

I want to delete a lot of events in my calendar easily.

I created recurrent events (6/8 per days). In vacation period, I want to remove these events and replaced them by another ones. For each event, I need to click on the event, click on the delete button and confirm to delete the single event. I would like to select all events on the week and delete them with only one button.

  3. Moving chats to/between projects

It would be extremely helpful to be able to move chats to/between project folders. I usually don't have the foresight to know when something will be big enough to be a project, or I might change my mind in the future and reorganize projects. Not being able to move existing chats that have been really helpful is extremely limiting, and doesn't incentivize me to to use the Projects feature at all despite how messy my existing chat history is.

  4. Shareable Link for Lumo Projects (Secure Collaboration)

    Current limitation:
Lumo Projects are confined to a single user’s encrypted workspace; there is no mechanism to generate a shareable URL or invite another Proton user to a Project.

    Desired capability:
Ability to create a read‑only or collaborative link that:
Grants another authenticated Proton user access to the Project’s context (chat history, uploaded files, and custom instructions). Maintains end‑to‑end encryption and zero‑access storage, ensuring that only invited users can decrypt the content. Offers granular permission levels (view‑only, comment, edit).

    Use case for cannabis‑tech consultants:
Share curated compliance checklists, product‑training modules, and POS‑integration playbooks with multiple dispensary stakeholders. Enable rapid onboarding…

  5. Lumo iOS UI Improvements

    iOS problems:
In portrait orientation, tables rendered by Lumo extend beyond the right edge of the screen, requiring horizontal scrolling.
When rotating to landscape, the entire table becomes visible, but the persistent search bar at the bottom overlaps the content, obscuring roughly half of the text. This makes reading difficult, as only a narrow strip at the top remains unobstructed.

    Suggested solutions:
Responsive Table Layout – Automatically scale or wrap table columns so that the full table fits within the viewport in portrait mode, eliminating the need for horizontal scrolling.
    Search‑Bar Visibility Toggle – Add an option (e.g., a small…

  6. Add our own cat as a companion to lumo

For lumo +, we can add a companion to lumo. Our cats for instance. Then both can act as what lumo does. Free lumo can do this but for an additional charge per month.

  7. Implement Screen Reader Accessibility Improvements in the Lumo Web and iOS Apps

As a Lumo user who relies on screen reader technology to access my iPhone, I have several suggestions that would make the Lumo app significantly easier for low vision folks to use. Because it seems the web version of Lumo behaves pretty similarly to the iOS app, I'll focus on the iOS app but do consider these same suggestions for the web app, as well.

Make prompts and responses into single focusable blocks

For an example of this, turn on the VoiceOver screen reader in iOS and observe how it behaves in the Facebook iOS app news feed. Although a…

  8. Lumo automatic chart resizing

In a Lumo conversations, charts right columns don't always allow users to read everything in the rectangle.
Often, users have to scroll right to see all the text and data it contains.
It can cause some friction when using a regular mouse and an external keyboard without a trackpad.

If would be nice if Lumo could resize the content so everything reads in a chart without having to scroll right.

  9. Lumo animated stickers pack

    Hi,

One of my favorite sticker pack for iMessage (available for other platforms too) is Milk & Mocha bears.
Now Proton you have just a very cute cat and you did already put a lot of effort in the design and animation.
I would gladly use Lumo stickers if you can deliver something as nice :-)
It will also make a good advertising for the product itself: Lumo.

    Thanks for reading / voting.
    Cheers
    M

  10. Enhance Lumo with Dedicated First-Level Support Training & Automatic Knowledge Updates

Perhaps it's a generally silly idea, but I often try Lumo as the first point of contact for support regarding Proton products. While the AI assistant delivers good to excellent results in many areas of knowledge, it surprisingly seems to be weak in this area, and I have already had to contend with some misinformation. Therefore, I propose extending Lumo’s capabilities to serve as a reliable, up-to-date first-line support agent. The core idea is to provide Lumo with a focused training set, encompassing, among other things, Proton-specific FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and policy documents, combined with an automated pipeline that feeds…

  12. Geolocation for the location field

It would be so nice for the location field in the calendar to search for and populate a location (e.g. I type in the name of a store & city name, and then it gives me a few options to select, at which point it then replaces what I've typed for search with an address)

  13. Unlimited Calendar Sync Size

I was hoping to switch to Proton calendar as my "source of truth" across the 2 Google and 2 Office 365 calendars I have to juggle on a daily basis. I am however unable to use it because of the "Calendar Too big" sync limitation.

Even the hack-fix of manually adding "start-min=2025-11-01T00:00:00Z" to the target calendar URL does not work. In fact the form field to paste the URL in is too short in number of characters to accept the full string like this:

    https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/d%40panaton.com/private-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/basic.ics?start-min=2025-11-01T00:00:00Z

This is silly and a little ( a lot actually!) embarrassing.

    I am sure Proton…

  15. Feature Suggestion: Built-In Email Productivity Tools for Faster Daily Workflow

Many ProtonMail users handle a high volume of emails every day and often need small productivity tools to speed up their work. A built-in panel offering simple utilities like quick text formatting, a snippet creator, a link checker, and an email content helper could make daily communication much faster and easier.
I’ve created an external toolbox at https://toolinq.com
that provides similar utilities. If ProtonMail adds a simplified version of these features directly inside the inbox, it could make the overall user experience even more efficient.

I would like the option to voluntarily share longer chat transcripts for model training when they contain useful corrections or insights. While the existing thumbs‑down feedback works for isolated messages, many improvements emerge only after a series of exchanges. Please add a simple opt‑in mechanism (e.g., a checkbox or toggle) that lets users grant permission for these extended conversations to be used for training, while keeping the default setting to keep all other data private.

  19. Lumo is great at Math, but bad at Latex!

I am finding that Lumo is shockingly good at the type of math I do, professionally.
I am seriously thinking about buying the Lumo+ extension.

However it is very frustrating, at times, by the way it handles Latex in its answers.

    1) Sometime the latex expression is not properly displayed as math, but just as a bunch of code. The latter is of course hard(er) to parse.

    2) When asked to produce latex code, the output is often buggy and contains nonstandard unicode symbols. It rarely compiles out of the box.

    3) When asked to produce small latex code (to…

  20. Make the current date on the calendar solid rather than outlined, as it is now - so - that it "jumps out" at you when you look at the month

In the month view the current date is not immediately obvious. Please make it "solit" so that it "jumps out" at you when in the month view. As it is there is only a line placed around the number.
