Create event in shared calendar from mobile app
I need to be able to create events in a shared calendar from the iOS app. Currently, it's only available on the web.

We switched to proton as a family to get away from USA based companies, it this is really critical in a family to have !

We made the switch to Proton Duo to get away from US based ecosystem. Please make editing available to invited users, we really need this.

This functionality should be available in the app. Can this be developed soon, please?

Is there a roadmap for this?

This feature is highly needed to bring my wife to Proton. If not, we are forced to stay with Google Calendar.

Unbelievable - two years on and still no action to remedy this. The only possible explanation is that Proton developers don't use Proton apps.

This is a must have to be able to actually used shared calendars together. Please implement this soon!

Finally got my wife to switch over to Proton from Google and immediately find out that we can't create events under the same calendar on the iOS app. This is definitely not a good feature to be missing when trying to bring over new users.

We started a family plan as well.
Now only the creator of a calendar can create events. The purpose of the family calendar is to let everyone create their own events, obviously….not working in the ios app though… -

I moved my family to proton and moved all my calendars. Only today did I find out that iOS mobile app users can't add events to our shared family calendar. Ugh.

I'm a loyal Proton user and have just moved my whole family onto the family plan but I didn't realise the iOS app was missing this basic functionality.
My wife and I have Android phones but the kids have iphones, meaning they can't do what is the main reason I got them onto the account i.e. tell us what they're up to so we can plan around it!
This is really basic table stakes functionality and it's not acceptable for it to work on one platform but not another. You can do that when it's a hobby project for hackers but not when you have customers paying real money who need stuff to just work.

Just chiming in that this is absolutely crucial for family use in the proton ecosystem. We made the switch recently to get away from US based ecosystems, but ALL other major calendar providers support editing shared calendars from their mobile app.
Please prioritize this issue

If you want any family to adopt the eco system, then the ability to add an appointment to your partner or kids is critical.

This is really sad. Looks like this has not worked for years and I really need this for my Duo account that I just created.

What makes it hurt even more is that on Android it's enabled, so it looks like an iOS bug. Pretty please make this trivial thing happen otherwise we downgrade from the Duo plan.

Don’t hold your breath on this one, Theunis. I just don’t understand why it hasn’t become a priority that’s if they’re even working on it.

Hope they add this soon!
