Light Phone Calendar Syncing
The best phone on the market (outside of black phones) for those keeping with the ethos of privacy is the Light Phone. It has a calendar feature, but syncing with proton mail isn't possible currently. They are a small user base, circa 150,000 users, but they're growing and it wont be cool.

SCROLLING !
"Please, consider adding scrolling functionality to your calendar. It's much more convenient to scroll down using the mouse wheel."
Scrolling down is easier because it requires less effort and allows users to navigate through a large amount of content quickly, especially when compared to clicking through pages or sections.

Add agenda view to Day, 3 Days, and Week views
On iOS currently when you are on “Day”, “3 days” and “Week” view the lower part of the screen is a schedule view.
It would be nice if there was an option to change that lower part to the Agenda view so there is no scrolling needed to see your scheduled things.

Design change: relocate time marker in agenda view
Currently, in agenda view, the time range of an event (ie: 8:00pm - 10:00pm) takes precedence over the event itself and there is no visual distinction between the two.
Would love to see something more akin to Apple’s design where the time is aligned to the right hand side of the field (and in a less bold font) giving focus to the event itself

Typing of Date in Calender Desktop App
When creating a new Appointment in the Desktop/WIndows Calender App, it is not possible to just type the Date as " 23.12.2024".
You always have to use the Monthly overview to skip to the event Date.
So when i want to set an Appointment for 2025, i have to click through the whole years of 2024 and 2025 to set my appointment.6 votes -
Share calendar without details
It would be really great if "Share with Proton users", Permissions: "See all events without details" would exist. Currently only: "See all event details" and "Edit event details" exist as permission options to share with other proton users.
The "Show others when I'm busy" (only when scheduling events) is not enough.
This features, when implemented would improve proton calendars productivity significantly and close the gap to the competition.

Autofill Location for Events
Some calendars like iOS and Gmail have a location feature that as you type the name of a place, the address (or addresses) appear and allow you to select it. I would like to see this as a feature; I think it would be a great improvement to how selecting a location works now. Now, you have to click the place or link after an event has been added and it will open either Maps, Google Maps, or Waze to ask which place is the correct one you're looking for.

Meeter-like navbar mini app for calendar notifications
There's a Meeter app which takes events from Apple Calendar and shows you the upcoming meetings with quick join-to links. I would use it if it would be possible to collect all calendars in ProtonCalendar and then without security concerns see the upcoming meetings to not miss them. What do you think? Alternative would be to have an extension for the ProtonMail desktop app which shows up in the system tray just for that.

Please extend the space and capabilities available for each individual calendar entry.
Please extend the space and capabilities available for each calendar entry. I pay for Proton and expected a calendar at least as capable as Google Calendar. I have been very disappointed by Proton Calendar, as it is still inferior to Google Calendar in the function of the size capability of individual calendar entries.

Filter for subscribed external calendar
"Filters" for calendars, mostly useful for external ones, both imported from a file or url would be nice :
Have something similar to filters in mail, to be able to have flexibility, and do custom actions :
- Hide event matching name/description x
- Copying event containing word x into another calendar (for achive, since you most likely will delete a url calendar when you are done using it) .. Or the ability to copy the current state of the calendar, with only what you want to see from it into one of your calendars before deleting it ?Most…

Family Planner View
To use proton calendar as a family planer it would be very useful to have a view that displays the days in rows and the different calendars as columns. Given that every family member has his/her own calendar, this view would generate a nice overview of what appointments everyone has on a specific day.

How I'm Using Proton Calendar with My Scheduling Software
(I created a blog post and video about this and I wanted to share this here in the hopes that it helps others.)
Are you struggling to balance productivity with privacy concerns?
You’re not alone.
Here's how I tackled a common productivity challenge while maintaining my commitment to digital privacy. My solution might inspire you to think creatively about your own tech dilemmas.
The Challenge: Using a Privacy-Focused Calendar with Scheduling Software
As part of my efforts to “de-Google” my life, I’ve switched to using Proton Calendar, a privacy-focused alternative to Google Calendar. However, this presented a problem: how could…

Remove colon (:) necessity for easier scheduling
Would be great if we could input "1845" and not necessarily "18:45" so we can just use the numpad and go on to the next input field.
I use the keyboard to fill in the whole thing but typing the colon takes more time and just inputting numbers and just pressing "tab" would make it a lot easier.

Automatically create event on iOS mobile when event is created on desktop
Currently, when an event is created on desktop, the event isn't created on iOS mobile until the app is opened on the phone.
The following use case recreates the problem on iOS
- Close Proton Calendar mobile app on phone
- Open Proton Calendar via a browser on a separate device such as a laptop
- Create an event for 30 minutes in the future with a reminder 15 min in advance of the event
- On the phone, when the time of the event / reminder occurs, a notification never renders on the screen at the appropriate time
Expected outcome

Add favourite time zones
When dealing with several time zones, people often have something like 2-5 time zones they work with most often. It is rare that a person would work with 10+ time zones. Would it be possible to make a list of favourite time zones so that they would be available for selection faster / more easily?
