1. Add Monospace Option to Accessibility Font Family Setting

The Accessibility font family setting (Settings > Appearance > Accessibility) currently offers a small set of proportional fonts. Adding a monospace option would meaningfully improve phishing resistance for security-conscious users.

Monospace fonts make homoglyph attacks visible at a glance:
   - rn vs m — clearly two characters in monospace, nearly identical in proportional
   - l vs 1 vs I — distinct glyphs instead of ambiguous strokes
   - Cyrillic а vs Latin a — spacing differences become obvious
   - paypa1.com vs paypal.com — the 1 stands out immediately

   Feature Request:
Add a "Monospace" option to the existing font family dropdown in Accessibility settings. When selected, apply a monospace font stack to email content rendering (including the message body iframe).

   Benefits:
   - Anti-phishing: Users can visually catch spoofed domains and lookalike characters in sender addresses, URLs, and email bodies
   - Zero new UI surface: Slots into the existing Accessibility font picker — one new option in an existing dropdown
   - Aligns with Proton's identity: Proton already markets itself as the security-first email provider. This is a small feature that reinforces that positioning
   - Accessibility overlap: Monospace fonts also benefit users with dyslexia or visual processing differences, since every character occupies the same width

   Implementation suggestion:
Add "Monospace" as a new entry in the Accessibility font family dropdown. Apply a standard fallback stack ("SF Mono", "Fira Code", "Source Code Pro", "Cascadia Code", "Consolas", "Liberation Mono", monospace) to the message content iframe when selected. The infrastructure for injecting styles into the content iframe already exists (Proton uses it for dark mode).

2. Proton Mail: "Select All Mails" button missing in search results, only available in Inbox, Folders and Categories

When viewing the Inbox or any custom folder/category, selecting a single email reveals the "Select All Mails" button, which works as expected and allows bulk actions on all displayed emails.

However, when performing a search and selecting an email, the "Select All Mails" button is missing or limited to selecting only the first batch of results (the exact number depends on the user's "Conversations per page" setting, e.g., 50, 100, or 200).

This creates an inconsistency: users can perform bulk operations (delete, move, label, mark as read/unread) on all emails within a folder, but not on all emails matching a search query.

3. Proton should purchase “Magic Earth” and convert it into Proton Maps, an open source high-quality maps app

Magic Earth seems to be the best alternative available right now to Apple and Google Maps. The problem? It’s not open source and its privacy claims are not independently verified. Proton should consider offering to buy out the small company behind it, convert the app to Proton Maps, make it open source, and run an independent security audit on it.

The UI design in Magic Earth is already pretty similar to Proton branding anyways. Easy win if Proton can afford it.

6. Manage contacts on a separate page

It would be very useful to be able to manage my contacts on a specific page.
This would provide an overview of contacts, rather than just a small space on the right-hand side of the messaging app that doesn't show all the contact details.
It's a waste of time having to scroll through my entire list to manage it.

   Thanks

8. [Mail] Export all search results (or a folder/label) as individual EML/MSG files or MBOX

Please add a way to export all messages that match a search in the web app. Right now I can only export emails one at a time, or export my whole mailbox with the Export Tool. I'd like to select all search results (or a folder or label) and download them as individual .eml or .msg files, bundled in one .zip, or as a single MBOX file. Readable file names (date + subject) would help too. Thank you!

9. Better document organization for official applications

One feature I’d find useful in Proton is an easier way to organize important documents and reminders for official applications. For example, users could keep related emails, document copies, and renewal dates together in one place.

This would be useful for people managing documents such as an NBI Clearance(https://nbiclearances.net/nbi-clearance-registration/), especially when they need to keep track of requirements or renewal information.

10. Add a "Custom Theme" feature with a color picker for personalization and comfort

I love Proton's commitment to privacy, but the current 8 preset themes are very limited. Everyone has different visual preferences, what looks sleek to one person might cause eye strain or feel cold and sterile to another.

I would love to see a Custom Theme feature added to the settings. Instead of just adding a few more presets, allow users to pick their own accent colors and background shades with a simple color picker or hex code input.

This would benefit everyone: it gives users the freedom to match their interface to their personal style, and it makes the platform much more comfortable for prolonged use for people with visual sensitivities or neurodivergence. A fully customizable theme system would make Proton feel truly personal and user-first.

12. LaTex rendering in Lumo

When using Lumo in my web browser (both Firefox and Librewolf) LaTex does not render properly. For example, Lumo returned the following:

    [ x^T A x \geq 0 \quad \forall x ]

instead of the actual LaTex rendering.

It would be nice if you could have Lumo actually render this.

I deeply appreciate your ecosystem's commitment to digital privacy, security, and open-source software.I would like to formally suggest the introduction of a basic, free API access tier with reasonable rate limits across all of your services.Providing a foundational, free API would bring great value to both your team and the user base:Developer Innovation: It enables the community to build secure, open-source integrations and complementary tools.Ecosystem Growth: It will attract developers who will actively promote and build directly upon your privacy-first ecosystem.Secure Automation: Users could create local, secure backups and custom workflows without compromising their data privacy. To protect your infrastructure from abuse, this free tier could be strictly rate-limited with a low daily quota, which would naturally encourage premium upgrades for heavy or production use.Thank you for your time, consideration, and continuous hard work in defending global digital privacy.Sincerely,

16. Unified data export across all Proton apps

I've got Mail, Drive, Calendar and Pass now, and pulling my own data out of all of them at once is basically impossible — every app exports its own way, if it exports at all. At my day job I build data pipelines, and one thing that clicked for me was reading through this https://cobit-solutions.com/en/services/data-lake-consulting-services/ on how you land raw data from a bunch of different sources into one place first, then structure it. Something like that under the hood would let Proton give us a single "export everything" that actually works. Right now it feels like each app is its own island. Anyone else hitting this wall?

17. How to Investigate a Bitcoin Scam — Contact SAGITTARIUS CYPHER CYBER INTELLIGENCE

“I Truly Believed We Were Going to Build a Life Together”
I never imagined that someone I met online could completely change my life—and not in the way I had hoped.
After meeting my partner online, we spent weeks and months talking, sharing our hopes, our fears, and our plans for the future. I genuinely believed that we had fallen in love. We talked about living together, building a home, and finally being happy together.
Because I loved this person and believed our relationship was real, I was willing to do almost anything to help my partner when financial problems and emergencies began appearing.
At first, the requests seemed reasonable. Then there was another emergency, followed by another reason money was needed. I kept believing that once everything was resolved, we would finally be together.
Eventually, I realized that something was seriously wrong.
When I Discovered It Was a Romance Scam
The hardest part was not only the financial loss. It was realizing that the person I trusted might never have been who I believed they were.

I decided to seek professional assistance and contacted SAGITTARIUS CYPHER CYBER INTELLIGENCE.
    The Investigation
I provided the information I had, including messages, payment records, online profiles, email communications, telephone numbers, websites, and cryptocurrency transaction information where applicable.

I finally had someone helping me look at the situation objectively instead of trying to understand it through the emotions I was experiencing.
    Getting My Life Back
The experience taught me an important lesson: being deceived by someone who gains your trust does not mean you should be ashamed.
I am grateful that I took the step of documenting what happened and seeking professional assistance.
I never imagined that someone I loved and trusted could deceive me like this. Recovering the $190,000 was a tremendous relief, but having the truth documented and finally understanding what had happened was just as important. I am grateful that I took the step to seek professional help.
Today, I am focused on moving forward and protecting myself from being deceived again.
If you have been contacted online by someone who claims to love you and then asks for money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or financial assistance, do not ignore the warning signs.
Preserve your messages and financial records and seek appropriate help.

18. Better Access to Government Websites With Proton VPN

I think it would be helpful if Proton VPN could improve compatibility with government websites and online services. Some government portals may behave differently when a VPN is enabled, which can make it difficult for users to complete online applications.

For example, people using government services such as NBI Clearance may need to access information about application requirements, valid IDs, appointments, and other procedures. I came across this guide while looking for information about the NBI Clearance application process: https://nbiclearances.net/nbi-clearance-requirements/

A simple notification or troubleshooting option when a government website has connection issues would make the experience easier for users.
