1. Proton Keep: A private Google Keep

   Would be great if there was a basic notes taking app along the lines off Google Keep which was within the Proton ecosystem. I dont need a "fully fledged" note taking app, just a place i can save links and quick ideas, so a version of Keep would be fantastic

   I’d like to propose a new service called Proton Home.
   The idea is to have a central platform where users can manage all their smart home devices securely and easily, directly from their Proton account.

   With Proton Home, you could:

   • Control smart lights, thermostats, cameras, and other smart devices.

   • Set up automation routines (like turning off lights when leaving home).

   • Share device access securely with family members or trusted people.

   • Monitor device activity and energy usage in one dashboard.

   I would love to see a new service called Proton Hub.
   The idea is to have one central place where users can manage everything related to their Proton account, subscriptions, payment methods, organizations, and family groups.

   With Proton Hub, you could:

   • Manage all your subscriptions in one place.

   • Handle payment methods and billing details easily.

   • Configure account security, including 2FA, recovery options, and passwords.

   • Oversee and manage your family group or organization (members, roles, permissions).

   • See how much storage you are using across all Proton services and break it down per app – similar to how Google One does it.

7. Proper backup solution for business

   We would need a proper backup solution for all of the users that is automatic and takes local backup of all business users for disaster recovery.

   These features comes to mind now

   -Incremental backup (so no need to take full backup every time)
   -Backup Mail
   -Backup Drive
   -Backup Pass
   -Local backup is encrypted
   -Restore can be done to single mail and file level

8. Focus on functionality and feature parity on existing products

   Proton should really focus on building with feature parity in mind. Most of their products work differently depending on the OS and that's not a good experience. Plenty of people use different OS (for example both Windows and Mac computers, the wife with Android, the husband with iPhone and the tech kid on Linux.

   STOP overmoderating, STOP spreading thin your resources and FOCUS.

10. Pin favourite Authenticator codes

    It’s be great if I could pin my favourite Authenticator codes to the top of the app (maybe just the icon, then I could tap to show the code). Assuming more sort options come along, having this feature would be beneficial to always have these frequent ones easily available.

11. Strong Password Unlock for Browser Extension & App–Extension Linking

    I really enjoy using Proton Pass, but I have two feature requests that would greatly improve my security workflow:

    Full Master Password Unlock Option for the Browser Extension
    Currently, the extension mainly relies on a PIN for quick unlock. I would like to have the option to always require my full master password (just like in the desktop/mobile app) instead of a PIN, for added security.

    Linked Unlock Between App and Browser Extension
    It would be very convenient if unlocking the Proton Pass desktop app would also unlock the browser extension (and vice versa), similar to how some other password managers integrate between the app and extension. This would save time while keeping security high.

    I believe these features would make Proton Pass even more secure and user-friendly for those of us who value tighter control over access.

13. A request to help with UserVoice moderation, cleaning up spam and unresolved ideas

    This is a feature request for better management of this platform for more direct feature requests. I have been a long-time user and have been actively engaged on this platform, particularly in documenting the various inconsistencies and spam that have been an issue.

    I believe I have a clear understanding of the platform's shortcomings, as shown in my report, and would be willing to assist in the following ways:

    • Flagging Spam and Irrelevant Content: I can help actively flag and report the off-topic and irrelevant posts that have been appearing.
    • Documenting Inconsistencies: I am happy to share the document I have compiled that details inconsistencies in the [COMPLETED ✅] and [PLANNED] statuses, as well as the "black hole" phenomenon. My goal is to help maintain the integrity and purpose of this platform. Please let me know if you would be open to this kind of assistance.

16. Make it possible to acess the "My account" page from the account icon in the right upper corner

    Please add the option to acess account settings also from the account button.

    I think it would be more intuitive than the current way: to go into the settings option, then click all settings to manage the account. I spend a lot of time until I find the option all the times I need to change something in my account settings.

17. A widget that's resizable & flashes or enable Win11 taskbar to flash when connection has dropped

    I am not wanting to 'kill' all access when connection to VPN drops. I am wanting a resizable/flashing widget or a setting that enables Win11 taskbar to flash when VPN connection has dropped.
    I have had the prior version 'open' and resized to smallest to keep an eye out, but the new version, the smallest I can get it is about an eighth of my screen. That is bigger than before, bigger so that icons had to be moved to accommodate. Thus, I'd like a smaller indicator, it does not have to have all the details that the 'open' screen has. It only has to be able to appear on top of other applications and be eye catching. Something simple as the letters VPN inside a red slashed circle or just a resizable bar that 'FLASHES'.

18. Overhauled UI & Settings Across Apps

    I've noticed across the apps on both desktop and Android that theres no consistent UI and Setting Changes.
    It may just be an OCD or autism thing from me but I recon it would be nice if proton implemented an overhaul on the apps UI so that all settings options are consistent (apart from app function exclusive)

    For example, the android mail app is just simple and "blockish" the vpn app has a decent UI but it has a icon changing feature (which I presume is implemented as a censorship hiding thing) like a dark mode which isnt present across all apps
