How can we improve Proton?

  1. Proton Drive/Mail/Calendar/VPN

    C'mon people sell your product! I am in Proton drive and I want to extend my services; in short, I WANT TO GIVE YOU MORE MONEY! But you make it difficult to do so!!! There should be a link in every screen to go to my account settings so I can add services AND PAY YOU for them. Also this would be helpful so I can add good suggestions so you make more money. I believe in your cause, but you need to make it easier to support your efforts!

  2. Proton drive -- selected count

    I would like to see the number of items selected displayed on screen so I know i have the correct items selection. At least its a double-check.

  3. Proton drive -- retain scroll position when returning to main previous view

    I'm editing contents of multiple subdirectories and as i go down through a long list I'd like to return to my previous scroll position rather than having to scroll down from the top every time i return to the previous view. Wastes a lot of my time.

  4. Finance manager

    Is there data more sensitive than finance data? I'd really like to have a Proton Finance app like KMymoney, Skrooge, etc. which can be accessed from web UI, mobile or desktop app.
    There are very few alternatives that provide multi-platform support and one needs to trust their privacy and security, which are your best characteristics.

  5. Scripting API with authentication token

    It would be nice if I could send myself an email from scripts for alerts from my server. I know it is possible using the bridge and SMTP, but I would prefer some kind of authentication token system like Github deploy tokens to avoid putting my password in plaintext and to limit access should the token be compromised.

  6. Random Email scheduling scheduled emails that are delivered at random times

    During travel I do not always have access to good internet and being able to schedule emails that recur weekly at random times so that outlook, hotmail and gmail do not flag the email as spam would be great. When I was photographing Mexico and Central America there was many times where I could have stayed at a cheap hotel but these places usually had no internet I had to pay 5 times more money per a night just for internet.

  7. How do I buy QuickBooks in CAMPs?

    A: QuickBooks camp used to allow storing billing data, secure payment as well subscribe to new products. QB camps can manage data fields simply crisp. It uses an auto model for performing tasks. In the camp, wants to open QuickBooks toh simply go to the link http://camps.intuit.com. Then open QuickBooks>> go to the help menu. After that do the following steps neatly:
    Open QuickBooks desktop
    Select your subscription product
    Click on details
    Click on billing info
    Enter changes in the payment module
    Save
    close.

  8. Note Taking App

    What would be amazing is a note taking app with a mix of Notion and Roam or Obsidian.

    Where we take our notes isn't safe. Some of us write thoughts and other things we'd rather not have out there.

    Something with a mix of Notion for its databases and pages features, add that to the Roam web notes feature, connecting it to Proton calendar and email is an app that would practically eliminate need for all outside apps.

  10. Spam grouping

    Group spam to make it easier to review. Can you identify political and other unwanted spam from something that might be valid? Need a quick way to review spam and delete without having to look at everything, about 100+ spam emails a day.

  11. Add week number in calendar and subfolders in search function email

    In proton calendar - it should be visible what number of week you're in (week 1,2,3.....52)

    In proton mail - when using the "move to" folder function - it does not show the subfolders when searching folder - only the Main folder. So if I want to place an email in a sub-folder, I have to scroll instead of just search.

  12. Allow collapsing of folder pane in email

    Pleas allow collapsing of the folder pane. The preview pane is clipped on the right when viewed in portrait mode of Windows 11 at 1080x1920 (125% scaling) and there's now scroll bar to pan the preview pane. Collapsing the folder pane would allow the preview pane to display correctly.

  14. A system tray service to monitor email accounts

    Adding a windows service to sit in the system tray monitoring emails in the inbox and folders selected during program setup,

    I have 1 primary address and 3 others that I setup filters for, and a windows service sitting in the system tray (not the taskbar), would monitor those folders, so, during the program install, a user would sign in to their proton mail account, then a list of folders (if filters have been setup), would show and the user would select which folder(s) to monitor, then when an unread email appears in either the selected folder, or inbox,…

  15. Apple Watch app for Proton Calendar

    Currently the Proton Calendar app on iOS cannot be viewed on my Apple Watch. Please add the widget / app for Watch OS so that the calendar events & notifications can be viewed on my Apple Watch.

    Calendar visibility on watch is the last hurdle for me to completely switch my calendar from iCloud to Proton.

  16. We need the Swiss to offer hosting (paid is fine!)

    There are a LOT of us that are under the gun right now with the un-published censorship that is occurring.

    As you know I've been subjected to a lot of abuse and documented it on a website that used to come up in search engine results but now the website is simply a means for profiteering and racketeering for those that control everything.
    MY REQUEST of the Swiss is that you please start your servers to accept our websites so we can be seen (if not in our country than anywhere, even if only in Switzerland!).

  17. Swipe through attachments

    I recently noticed that when receiving mail with multiple attachment photos, you can't just swipe through them on iPhone. You have to go into each attachment individually, which is quite inconvenient. It would be wonderful if we could swipe through attachments. Thanks!

  18. Select multiple emails and send emails to the specific folder.

    1. Please add ability to select all or multiple emails through the "ctrl" and "shift" buttons. It makes useless to use proton mails if you have many emails to work with...
    2. Please add rules function. You have possibility to create different folders so please add possibility to send emails from particular sender (a bank like example) to the created folder and not to inbox.

  19. Option to disable "Subject missing" pop-up warning

    I send many emails that have no subject line (either to myself on a different account, or to other electronic services that require email attachments but aren't processed by humans). It would be great if there were the ability to disable the pop-up warning ("Subject missing -- You have not given your email any subject. Do you want to send the message anyway?") that appears every time I send an email without a subject line.
