How can we improve Proton?

  2. Allow me to customize keyboard shortcuts

    I have several email accounts across google and protonmail. I'd like to edit protonmail's keyboard shortcuts to match google's. It would be nice to have an interface where I could customize those!

  3. Offer an Appointment Scheduler service

    Offer an Appointment Scheduler service similar to the commercial Calendly or the open-source Easy!Appointments to allow clients to self-schedule appointments. This could be a premium service integrated into the Calendar. Users need an appointment scheduling service that protect user privacy for both business and client, free of data mining.

  4. Branding for sharing files.

    It would be great to have branding available for when you share files. The way wetransfer features your brand on pro accounts. I would love to display a few pictures of my business while clients are downloading files.

  7. For the Proton iOS apps, allow users to customize the app homescreen logo.

    For a long time, Apple iOS has allowed apps to enable their users to customize the app logo on the homescreen. The biggest and most notable use of this is the Apollo app for Reddit. I propose something similar. To keep the Proton Brand/logo I suggest keeping the design of it but give the users the logo in different colors (i.e. red, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, etc.). I also propose that Proton keeps these options behind a paywall. The apple app store recently made changes to allow the lowest possible fee charged to be 29 cents. Proton could charge…

  8. RSS reader for protonmail through protonVPN

    I want an RSS reader built into proton mail to pull each feed through a randomly selected VPN connection. Right now, I have Vienna RSS reader that I use in combination with proton VPN. However, that pulls all RSS feeds through the same VPN connection rather than dispursing across multiple connections.

  9. Metadata Removal

    I would like the metadata on files uploaded to proton drive or attached in an email to be removed like the signal app removes metadata. When saving files in my proton drive I prefer to upload them through signal as a message to myself first and then upload them to proton drive.

  11. Multi user support within apps

    I've created accounts for my kids, and I use their respective drives to upload pictures.
    It would be very helpful to have the ability to select which account to upload items too, without having to log out and back in with the selected account.

  12. Option to select country to poll VPN's upon start up of program

    I notice a lot of the delay when starting up the VPN program is that it seems to be polling all the VPN locations worldwide. On a slower connection the time this takes can be quite long. It would be nice to set a country to poll upon startup to reduce the wait time, since I will only be choosing from my own country anyway.
    I'm using the Linux version so maybe this only applies to my OS.

  13. Enhanced swipe navigation for Android/Mobile (next/previous email)

    On my mobile (Android) app, I can customize what swipe left/right will do on the first page that lists all my emails, but I don't have a way to tell it what to do when I swipe left/right when I am in an email. There should be a way for me to be able to swipe left to go to the previous email and right to go to the next email. The way it is now, I have to go back to the email list and then open the next email and it feels slow and cumbersome.

  18. Implement AMOLED/OLED Dark Mode

    Either modify the existing dark mode or create an additional theme to be truly dark; I.e. take advantage of the OLED ability to turn off individual pixels to achieve true black.

    On many apps, this true black looks extraordinary and is honestly the “dark mode” that I think most people have in mind instead of dark grey or purple.
