  1. Fowarding Mails from Gmail contradicts the reason why I switched to Proton.

    I want to do everything I can to get more free storage space. However, the forwarding from Gmail to Proton means that the systems from Google know my new email addresses. I prefer to manually switch my accounts to the new email addresses.

  2. Help us get ready for youtube vpn blocks

    I just had my first experience on youtube (app, have not graduated to using it on Brave browser) where it showed me results for my search (biatholon athlete's name who competes internationally) and refused to allow me to use it unless I turned off vpn. I did a little searching and saw it's been an issue for 5 months or so, possibly related to the UK ID checking nonsense. While I'm seriously thinking about deleting youtube too many institutions require using it to view content that they require. I switched to another server and cleared the cash on the proton…

  3. No US social media platforms for news, discussions, etc.

    I would appreciate it if feature releases, the latest news on privacy and tips on online security were not announced and discussed on US platforms such as X and Reddit. These are private-sector platforms, and the US administration is using its economic and military power to prevent regulations on American social media platforms that would protect EU European users.

  5. Has proton ever considered joining forces with GrapheneOS?

    This would be a real game changer in the market. A one stop shop for all my security concerns. Add in good virus software and Graphene/Proton would be a powerhouse.

  6. Please consider joining the Fediverse

    In lieu of my previous comment on big tech and privacy, please consider joining the Fediverse. Personally I am on Mastodon. X and BlueSky are not part of the solution.

    Mastodon is way better place to have a converstation than this forum that forces me to share feedback by logging in through Facebook or Google, whilst my name and IP address is getting permanently stored.

    As a European Proton customer I would like to advice Proton to think long and hard about the setup of this forum.

    I just had sign away the storing of my name, ip adress and other things just to provide feedback to Proton.

    And I had to gain access to the forum through Facebook or Google.

    Really, in this day and age?!?

  8. Prioritization

    Hi Proton Team!

    I really like all the new products and ideas that are implemented. I appreciate how this is mostly due to people in this forum actively requesting stuff and you listening! Bravo.

    BUT! Could you please mainly focus on the boring task of improving your existing products before rolling out new stuff? There are so many important features being discussed here that are just sitting and waiting since 2023...For example:

    • Mac Folder Sync
    • Separated Mailboxes
    • Improved Docs

    Different teams at Proton work on different products. There are still people working on improving Mail, Drive, Docs etc.

  14. Improve Uservoice, please...

    This is asking for a dark mode, better UI that of proton mail in quality, a warning that twitter(x) is a VERY bad website for privacy, and fixing the system for icons, the site that proton uses for icons is according to my source of "Blacklight" by Themarckup contains multiple trackers including evading trackers, it also lets google track you. So I propose that we flock over to a different way of getting icons or at least a disclaimer to use Tor before acquiring an icon.

    When it comes to things like "better UI" please be specific, what could be better? What would it look like?

  15. Improve Proton Mail!

    Please improve Proton Mail - fast!!! If Proton had a forum, I'd ask this there. Ever since the update with the new UI, emails take FOREVER to open. 5+ minutes. I cannot use Proton Mail like this on a daily basis. Please find a fix for this! The new Proton Mail app is supposed to be faster and improved, but this just made it slower and worse. Please fix this soon!

  16. Proton Mail down: "Internal server error"

    Proton Mail fails to load. I see an "Internal server error" error message. This started happening within the hour.

    Meanwhile, the official Proton Services Status page blindly reports "All Systems Operational." There's a disconnect between the Mail service and the status report.

  17. Proton Meet: Feedback

    Proton Meet has been great so far and I have really enjoyed it!

    Suggestions I have had from people who have used it with me:

    1. Be able to see other people's video/faces while screen sharing

    2. Adding a waiting room and/or password to meeting

    3. Adding emotes to chat responses

    4. Improved background effects

    5. Ability to record a meeting (with consent of participants) and store in proton drive

  19. faire une recherche sur les noms de fichiers dans l'interface web

    on ne peut pas faire de recherches sur les noms de fichiers dans le drive (parce que tous est chiffré si je comprends bien). mais la recherche windows sur mon dossier syncrhonisé est nulle, j'aimerai relaché le chiffrement sur les noms pour au moins teser si un fichier dont j'ia le nom est dans le drive.
