  1. Forms for Proton Sheets

    It would be good to have a form to interface with spreadsheets, so data entered can be limited to invitees while blocking update for existing entries. Possibly later, allow interface of Adobe fillable forms.

  3. Proton Notification Carrier

    It would be nice to see proton come out with their own notification carrier services. Especially if you are using a phone operating system without google play carrier services/ apple and can't receive push notifications.

  5. videoconferencing

    Hello,
    I'm a French independant social and family economics advisor (social worker) and I'm looking for a secure videoconferencing tool. I hope Proton will offer this as part of one of its subscriptions soon.
    Sincerely,

  6. Improve Proton Calendar notifications on Linux (sound, persistence, snooze)

    On Linux (Ubuntu / GNOME), Proton Calendar notifications are easy to miss: they are transient, quiet, and disappear after a few seconds if you are away from the screen.

    There is currently no way to:
    • enable audible alerts
    • make notifications persistent until dismissed
    • snooze calendar reminders

    This makes Proton Calendar significantly less usable on Linux compared to mobile platforms and even basic desktop calendar apps.

    Please consider improving Linux notifications by supporting one or more of the following:
    • notification sounds
    • persistent / actionable notifications
    • snooze support
    • better integration with Linux desktop notification standards…

  8. See through all ideas

    There are lots of ideas here on the platform. Many have already been implemented. Perhaps we should go through all the users' ideas and mark those that have already been implemented as completed with a link to the documentation page. That would save a lot.

  9. Keep format when inserting new row in Sheets

    When I insert a new row above an existing one, I'd like the format of the existing one to be copied.

  10. Add a Proton Domains (Registrar): Buy domains directly inside Proton

    Proton should introduce its own domain registration service integrated directly into the Proton ecosystem.

    Currently, users who want to use a custom domain with Proton Mail must purchase a domain from a third-party registrar and manually configure DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC). While this works, it adds friction. Especially for non-technical users.

    An integrated domain registrar would significantly simplify onboarding by allowing users to purchase a domain and have it automatically configured for Proton Mail. This would reduce setup errors, improve security, and make the experience much more accessible.

    Additionally, it would make it much easier to use custom…

  11. Native Thunderbird integration for Mail + Calendar (without Bridge)

    Description:

    Thunderbird is one of the most widely used desktop email clients in the open-source ecosystem. Presently, Proton Mail can only be accessed through the Bridge, and Proton Calendar cannot be used at all. This causes several limitations:

    • The Bridge must always be running in the background;
    • There is no native calendar support in Thunderbird;
    • Reliability and performance depend on a proxy layer instead of direct protocols;

    Meanwhile, Mozilla has just merged K-9 into Thunderbird as their official Android app and is developing Thundermail—a new service platform that will offer online mail, documents, spreadsheets, slides, and more.…

  12. Proton ID and age verification

    Proton does great job with offering pseudonymity on the Internet. We need to take it one step further: for users who opt in, reliably verify their identity (maybe for a reasonable fee) and support various standards and protocols to answer questions like is this person an adult, does this person have driving license etc without revealing true identity.

  13. Shared calendar with notifications

    It would be great if there were a shared calendar (e.g., "family") that notified all users of the calendar whenever somebody made a change, addition, or deletion. For example, if I added an appointment to the family calendar, all the other family members would be notified that I added something. Or if a family member changed an appointment, I would receive a notification that the appointment had been changed & by whom.

  14. Tabs in Proton Docs

    It would be so helpful to have a Tabs feature inside Proton Docs, similar to the Tabs in Google Docs. This is especially helpful for design and management of long term projects.

  15. [Lumo] Custom bot feature

    I can't find the Proton Lumo below 'Give feedback' on the right column so I'm posting here.

    I'm using bots everyday and find the custom bot feature very important. Just some text config and a name for a custom bot should be nice.

    Sometimes the generic mood of the bot is not so prefered, a custom bot with fixed info to define a personal assistant in owner's style is good to have. The fitting style of language is better for conversation, like a pal, not a stranger.

    Some guys are with such custom bot and free: Gemini Gem, Instagram AI…

  16. [Meet] Create Ability to Record Meeting and Save to Proton Drive

    Would love to get more people using Proton Meet with me since it's end to end encrypted versus zoom. However, many people won't make the jump since they require the ability to record and save a meeting i.e. for absent attendees.

  17. Migrate away from UserVoice > Proton Forums

    BEFORE YOU DECLINE THIS PROTON, this is a feature request for Proton Forums.

    Reasons why:
    a) in house development
    b) privacy and security standards
    c) better community engagement
    d) integration and smart cleaning
    e) spam prevention
    f) integration with core proton products

  20. Document navigation with outline view

    Please add an outline view in the docs editing to make it easier to navigate using headings and subheadings. This is a common feature in things like MS Word and Google docs and really impacts the usability of larger documents.
