Proactive security suggestions
Instead of just warning users when passwords are weak, Proton Pass should take proactive action. A feature that automatically generates strong passwords for all accounts and suggests a step-by-step migration plan to the user—such as “This week: Update your 5 most important social media accounts”—would systematically improve security. Gamification elements such as a security score or achievements for good practices could provide additional motivation without being intrusive.

Native Android optimizations
The Android app should fully support Material You Design and integrate seamlessly with Samsung One UI. Quick Settings tiles for frequently used functions, widget support for the home screen with secure but quickly accessible information, and integration with the Android share function to securely share passwords between apps would make the app much more practical. Better integration with the Android Autofill service with more granular permissions and a visual preview before data is filled in would be particularly important.

Expanded Vault Organization
While ProtonPass supports vaults, folders, and subfolders, it lacks intelligent organizational features. Automatic tagging based on categories like "Finance," "Social Media," "Work," or "Shopping" would be helpful. Smart collections that dynamically update based on criteria—such as "All logins not used in the last 30 days" or "All accounts with weak passwords"—would also be extremely useful. A timeline view showing when each login was created, modified, or last used would significantly improve organization.

ProtonPass - File Viewer
I have two related requests:
1.: Add a QR‑code field for loyalty cards. This would let users access their loyalty cards directly from Proton Pass, so they wouldn’t have to carry the physical cards all the time.
2.: Enable opening attachments directly in the app without downloading them. For security reasons it would be ideal to view an image or PDF right inside the app, avoiding the need to store the file on the device—where it’s easy to forget to delete it later. This feature would also solve the first request.

Export Custom‑Domain Alias List as a Locked .txt File with Automatic Self‑Destruct after Import
Description / Context
Background – When users create custom domain aliases in Proton Pass, they often need to export the list of generated passwords/aliases to another password‑manager or service. Currently there is no built‑in way to bulk‑download these credentials in a portable format that also respects security best practices.Proposed feature – Add an “Export as locked .txt” option to the alias‑management screen. The exported file would:
Contain the alias names and their associated passwords (or a user‑chosen subset).
Be encrypted/locked with a passphrase supplied by the user at export time, so the file cannot be opened without that passphrase.

Keep awake on mobile
Proton pass & Authenticator should have an option to keep the screen awake when displaying info fields like the codes in Authenticator and the passwords in Pass. It’d be a convenient time save to not have to tap the screen while inputting a long password

Add option for multiple passwords per item including autogeneration
Currently, Proton Pass allows you to store only one password per item. The ability to add multiple passwords to a single item, is not supported at this time. This should be enhanced. Automatic password generation should also be available for those additional passwords.

Login as...
Problem: When using proton pass browser extension, some passwords I have imported or registered have different URLs than are used in login, so Proton Pass doesn't populate the existing login information as an option.
Solution: Add a search feature when you click on "Proton Pass: No login found" so people can assign an existing password entry to the URL for autofilling.

Estate Planning and Password Managers
Let’s face it: in most households, one person ends up being the "techie"—they manage all the online accounts, pay the bills, set up the gadgets, and keep track of passwords. Meanwhile, the other person might have no idea what’s what—until something happens and they’re left to figure it all out.
It’s not just about passwords—it’s about being able to keep the lights on, find out where the mortgage is, and know what subscriptions to cancel.
What you need to figure out ASAP:
- Which bank has the mortgage?
- Is the car insurance bundled with something else?
- What bills…9 votes -
Please add a feature to allow vaults to be stored locally on a device (phone, computer, usb drive) not just on your servers
I do understand that your vaults are stored somewhere on your servers. This does have some advantages.
To my mind it has one big disadvantage. You have and control my most critical information, that is passwords/private keys to my finances, interactions with the state etc. not just my Netflix login. Yes, I understand the vault is securely encrypted as well as you can make it.I would like to retain possession of my own vault. I can keep it on a removable physical device (like a Ubikey) so that I can plug it in for only as long as I…

Preserve creation date and modification history when importing passwords
Many password managers, e.g. 1Password, support exporting creation date and modification history along with the login information. Proton Pass ignores those fields when importing the database. Can't switch over until this is implemented.

Limit Secure Link Info
Currently, when you create a Secure Link, the receiver can see all info, including notes (that might contain recovery codes etc). I would like to see a change where you either:
A, Manually select which parts you want to be included in the Secure Link (e.g., email, password, Notes, etc, where the default is None, and the link can't be generated without selecting at least one item.)
B, Add an additional text box called "Secrets" or similar that does NOT show up in a Secure Link (Unless specifically prompted to) that you can put for example recovery codes into, as…

Custom Additional Fields for Login Items
Hello Proton Pass Team,
I would like to request the ability to add additional fields to login entries.
Currently, login items primarily include:
1.Email/Username
2.PasswordSome websites require a phone number in addition to the username/email and password for login. It would be helpful if users could add extra fields, such as:
1.Email/Username
2.Password
3.Phone Number (or anything else user needs)
4.Membership IDIdeally, users could also create other custom fields when needed.
This would allow all login-related information to be stored in a structured way within a single login entry, rather than relying on notes.
Thank you for considering…

Alias contact list usability
It would be useful to have some kind of address book for the contacts created under aliases in Proton Pass. When using aliases, it’s easy to add dozens of contacts, but it becomes difficult to find them later in the unorganized list when you want to send a message using an alias as the sender.

Windows 11 integration
Now that Microsoft has released 1Password integration into the Dev channel build of Windows 11, I would like to see Proton Pass integration into Windows 11. So, Proton Pass can handle all my passkeys, passwords and 2FA codes in Windows 11.

Add Checkboxes to notes in Proton Pass
They already exist in ProtonDocs. Taking notes without them (and without being able to put sub-list-items under main-list items) is quite inconvenient!

Account Management/Ease of Access (Deletion & Change Password)
It would be amazing if in Proton Pass had a section where it guides you on how to delete your account on said site (this can check the Website listed or the Title), when clicking on it, it could either redirect you to the actual page where you can delete said account or just a guide (ex: JustDeleteMe), and another section for a similar function but for password changing, would also be cool to see some sort of automation so within a click of a button either proton pass will manage the account deletion to a degree (most deletion requires…
