Maybe not limited to VPN but more of a per-application passwords? At least I see it useful for Mail, VPN and Drive.

Attempt to connect to fastest and P2P profiles bring me into my current country. That's not a desired behavior. It shall be possible to exclude specific countries from being used by any predefined profile.

I think that it would be nice to have support of distros backed by enterprise: RHEL/Fedora, Oracle Linux and SLES/OpenSuSE. Ubuntu tries to enter the enterprise market but it doesn't looks that great for now.
Except Ubuntu, other mentioned distros are RedHat-based ones, so they shall be pretty similar in handling. Maybe SuSE will give some extra work.
And it opens a way for support of much more distros: Alma Linux, Rocky Linux and Oracle Linux are all "rebranded" RHEL.
Existing support of Fedora shall help in bringing the support.
