An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedPasswordless login should be allowed with only a Mailbox Password to decrypt the mailbox. In other words, the first password of two-password mode should be replaced with passkey only. Passkey prompt first, then mailbox password prompt after.

This should be implemented using the Webauthn/passkeys standard. Passwordless *login* should be allowed, with only a Mailbox Password to decrypt the mailbox. Passkey (biometric) prompt first, then mailbox password prompt after. Passkey would be a replacement for the first password of two-password mode.
