    It is possible to implement a compatibility feature for ALL Proton applications so that you can connect Proton VPN with a login server in any country, Proton Mail application can work via tor. For example, F-Droid application can connect both directly to its servers and through Tor network using OrBot application installed on smartphone.

    It would be nice to be able to customize profiles and select in each profile which specific applications in a given profile should pass through the VPN network.

    Profiles can be set up to exclude your country on Windows and Android now, and a more fine-tuned whitelist/blacklist is going to be available during Spring & Summer 2025.
