Dear ProtonPass Team,
Currently, ProtonPass does not allow users to view previous passwords for a saved login entry. This creates issues when updating passwords, especially if the process fails and the old password is lost.
For example, if a password is changed using the "Generate Password" feature but the update fails on the website, the previous password is overwritten with no way to recover it. Other password managers, like Bitwarden, offer a password history feature to prevent such problems.
Please consider adding this functionality in a future update.

As per the Spring/Summer Roadmap, this is being developed: https://proton.me/blog/pass-roadmap-spring-summer-2026
Folders will be a significant building block for Proton Pass that will go beyond just helping you organize your items. Introducing folders will require some rethinking of our cryptography model, which we’re currently working on. Eventually, you’ll also be able to share folders and subfolders just like your vaults and individual items, giving you another flexible way to share access.
Folders will be available in the coming months. As well as creating vaults, you’ll be able to create dedicated folders and subfolders to organize crucial information for quick retrieval: you can organize by project, by team, by year, or whatever else you need.

This is part of the autofill improvement, which is ongoing, this was highlighted in the recent Roadmap: https://proton.me/blog/pass-roadmap-spring-summer-2026
We should have a significant enhancement via iframe coming soon.

Dear ProtonPass Team,
ProtonPass currently lacks a username generator, which would help users create unique and secure usernames. Many password managers, including LastPass and NordPass, already offer this feature, making it easier to generate usernames without relying on personal information.
A good username generator should include:
Customizable length (up to 50 characters)
Character set options (uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols)
Ability to generate completely random usernames
Option to add a keyword at the end
Leetspeak conversion (e.g., h3110w0r1d)
Adding this functionality would improve security, privacy, and usability in ProtonPass. Please consider implementing it in a future update.
