   please also migrate from play services fido2 api to Android Credential Manager for Security Key auth. Its the recommended API and also works without play services. https://developer.android.com/identity/sign-in/fido2-migration

   Basically, the same delay options that exist for the emergency access contact should also be available for the recovery phrase.

   The workaround of using a second free account is very inelegant, as it introduces unnecessary complexity. In addition, free accounts may be deleted after 12 months of inactivity.
