Business owner and personal user trying to get off of google/workspace and to non-US companies.
Lack of a linux client for a business centered around privacy and data storage under the Swiss is kind of bonkers to see, especially with the EU having a push to get off dependency on US based operating systems.
The web uploaded simply isn't stable for imports of any decent volume; we tried and find that files keep going missing with no indication of failure.
At a minimum, a stable API that can be implemented like what rclone has done for Google Drive. The published API is missing features/stability that are clearly in use as has been identified by developers in the issues threads, and no documentation to explain them. The rclone implementation for Proton has been abandoned due to this.
The fact that the absolutely most upvoted feature under the drive category has been open for almost 4 years hasn't even had a "review" or "started" progress really speaks about proton as a business.
