I think it's better to make ProtonVPN in the AppImage format. Then it will run on any distribution.

As a KDE user, I would be very happy if the official ProtonVPN client were rewritten in Qt. For the past two years, I've been watching how various Linux applications switch from GTK to Qt every month. Many developers say that Qt is much more efficient and convenient for creating interfaces. Recently, I started learning C++ and saw this for myself when I tried to create a simple application in GTK and Qt. The future lies with Qt; there’s no doubt about that.
