Apple has it in Apple Mail. I’m sure Proton can do it better! ;)

The way this works is incredibly silly. Receiving a new email with the same subject from the same sender at a later point in time does not make it part of the previous conversation by definition. It’s also incredible confusing and dangerous on mobile, because hitting the trash icon deletes all emails with the same sender/subject, which is not clear.
