    The "from" header in the create form should just be an editable text field like it is in most other email clients. There's nothing magical about the "from" field, it's just a bit of text used for routing, so there shouldn't be any limitation to setting it.

    And when replying, the "from" field should be automatically set to whatever the "to" field of the email you're replying to, with the option to change it as well.

    This has been requested for almost a decade now, and you confirm you're working on it every few years, lastest on reddit just a few days ago. Please deliver this extremely basic email feature.
